Part 9...

Final Installment ...

Recap: Armaan caught in fire, Ridhimaa saved him, Atul told the incidence and reason why he is scared of fire. Mr. X called Shashanak and finally it disclosed that interns are not the one after it.

Atul: "MOM Atul was completely shocked seeing the number", how come mom called this time this time they never called this time usually do it at night. Oh God I just gave him medicine and he is sleeping agar poch liya tu kya kahoon ga. [mummering].

Anjali: Kehna he is sleeping and not fine 'she was coming from back and heard him mummering'

Atul: [turning back] huh! Yeah! But she'll get worried and I don't want that now.

Anjali: but atleast answer her; say something for she'll be more worried

Atul: yeah! You are right. 'he looked at the ringing phone and attended the call before he can say a hi or hello he was bombarded with questions.'

Kash: Hello Atul! Beta tum dono teekh tu ho na, im feeling so worried for u guys, koi problem tu nahin hai na. Tum bolo na Atul, Armaan who teekh hai mujhe pata nahin kyun aisa lag raha hai ke kuch ghalat hua hai. Armaan kisi takleef mein hai mujhe bola raha hai aur mein us tak nahin pohanch pa rahi. Bolo na Atul mera dil betha ja raha hai 'she was saying in watery voice which didn't gone unnoticed by Atul'

Atul: Mom we both are fine aur ghabra kyun rahe ho, sher [lion] bete hain aapke humein kya ho sakta hai aap aise hi pereshan ho rahe ho.

Kash: nahin Atul mera mann bahut ghabra raha hai, acha Armaan kahan hai baat kara meri usse.

Atul: [panicked] mom who Armaan, woh duty par hai.

Kash: Duty magar tum logon ki duty ka time tu over ho gaya hai.

Atul: mom'mom'woh..extra '

Kash: [cutting him and in a serious voice] Atul mein jante hoon tum jhooth bol rahe ho, sach sach batao sab teekh tu hai na.

Atul: Haan mom sab teekh hai, Armaan bhi teekh hai [he saw Anjali holding a paper which has Fever written on it, she was there all the time and was listening the conversation and how Atul was getting nervous so thought to help him]

Kash: Atul I want the truth now.

Atul: usey thoda fever hai.

Kash: fever hayye mera bacha, baat kara meri ussey.

Atul: mom abhi tu who soya [sleep] hua hai, apki mein baad mein baat kara doon.

Kash: hmm, uska khayal rakhna aur apna bhi. Aur jaise hi babu uthe ussey kehna mujhe phone kare, is larke ki tu mein khabar lete hoon kitni baar kaha hai apni health ka khayal rakhe lekin nahin. 'Atul laughed hearing this' aur tu kyun hass raha hai, teri tu double khabar lene chhaiye, bataya kyun nahin ke usey fever.

Atul: aap aur dad pereshan ho jate na isliye nahin bataya.

Kash: tu kya ab kam pereshan hongae, tum dono larke kisi din meri jaan le ke raho gae. 'Mom Kashish..she heard two voices one of Atul and other of Sujal both were angry hearing her words.' Oops sorry, magar dekho na un dono ke kaam bataya bhi nahi. Sujal tum ne na mere bachoon ko kharab kar diya hain, acha mujhse baad mein larna [said to Sujal and then to Atul] aur tum Atul, jaldi meri Armaan se baat karana. Ab mein rakhti hoon apna khayal rakhna ok bye beta.

Atul: bye mom [he kept the phone and heaved a sigh of relief and saw Anjali looking towards him with imploring eyes] hash! That was a tough job, thanks Anjali if you wouldn't have given the idea I probably would have spilled it all out.

Anjali: Ur welcome, but why didn't you told her the truth your parents must be worried.

Atul: and if I would have told them the truth they would be more worried, especially about this little chimpanzee.

Anjali: chimpanzee hahaa! I'm sure Armaan is not like it at all.

Atul: yeah I know but mom and dad would be very worried, and you don't know them they might be here by next flight.

Anjali: what [her eyes popping out]

Atul: yes that much worried they get. I still remember I was in 3^rd grade and Armaan was in 1^st, mom dad got us tricycle and we were riding it all day. Babu was on the back seart and I was riding when we got slipped and resulted in both got wounds on our legs and arms, babu tu get on head also as it hit the small stone. Mom was at home so she rushed saw us and took us to hospital with the help of some house helpers, but on the way she called dad who was gone to Canada for some work and hearing it he rushed back on the first flight. The doctors were so fussed up hearing them, we were all fine just small grazes but that was too much. Doctor was our family doctor and whenever he tells us this story mom and dad would be red with embarrassment. [He laughed accompanied by Anjali but soon stopped hearing the phone buzzing and this time name read DAD.]

Atul: oh no.

Anjali: what happened Atul. [asked seeing him disturbed]

Atul: it's dad now, and I know he'll get the truth out of me. I'll not receive the call.

Anjali: atleast pick it up, otherwise he'll be more worried and sure that something happened. I'll leave as my break is over now.

Atul: [picking the call] Hi dad, how are you?

Sujal: I'm fine and tell me what happened to Armaan.

Atul: nothing dad just mild fever.

Sujal: u can make your mom satisfied with ur answer but not me, tell me the truth what happened or should I call Nikita and ask her.

Atul: No, ok I'll tell you actually dad what happened is'.and told Sujal the incident that occurred which made him really scared for the girls as well his little babies too.

Sujal: that was really dangerous, so u all is fine na.

Atul: Yes dad we all are fine don't worry, and I'll give u the details later.

Sujal: alrite take care and when Armaan is up tell him to call us.

Atul: yeah sure bye take care.

Sujal: bye take care.

Atul heaved a sigh its tough to lie to his mom and he was also feeling guilty about it, but he knew it's for his betterment. Thank God their parents didn't say they are coming from next flight, finally he looked towards Armaan who was sleeping peacefully and had a sweet cute smile on his lips.

In the evening all the interns and senior doctors came to meet Armaan and Ridhimaa, Ridhimaa was awake and feeling well now. So, Dr. Kirti suggested her if she feels fine can join back her duties from tomorrow. Where as Armaan was still sleeping due to the heavy dosage of morphine to lessen the pain, Dr. Kirti checked him up and suggested to take proper rest. They left after bidding good bye to Atul and Ridhimaa also left with Anjali as she was feeling well and was ready to join duty back.

Next day

Armaan very cutely opened his eyes and looked around to see where he was, he blinked his eyes twice or thrice to adjust with the light. Atul came near him and pecked on his forehead on which Armaan gave a bright smile.

Armaan: Good Morning Bhai.

Atul: Good morning babu ab kaisa feel ho raha hai, pain tu nahin na.

Armaan: ek dum fit aur pain [he raised his arm slightly but his face cringed in pain] ahh'thora sa.

Atul: ok tu chalo abhi thora apne arm and leg ko rest karne do mein tab tak naste ka arrange karta hoon.

Voice: uske zaroorat nahin ho gi.

Hearing the voice both Atul and Armaan turned towards the door to see Nikki and Abhi standing their. Nikki with a sweet smile and having something in her hand, whereas Abhi was standing with some serious expression well according to Armaan his face his expression less *wink*

Atul: hey Nikki, hi Abhi.

Abhi / Nikki: Hi.

Armaan: hey guys how r u.

Nikki: mister yeh tu humein pochna chahiye, how are you.

Armaan: ek dum fit and fine chahye tu abhi basket ball ki one to one ho jaye.

Nikki: oye chup kar ke beth abhi tu bada aya BB khelne wala [Armaan smiled hearing her]

Atul: waise tum donno yahan, duty par nahin gayye abhi tak baki sab tu mil kar chale bhi gae.

Armaan: sab aye thae kab.

Atul: you were sleeping that time, they came to meet u but I guess medicine ka effect kafi time tak tha.

Armaan: waise Nikki yeh kya hai [pointing to the bag in her hand]

Nikki: this is breakfast for you and Atul, [thye were about to protest when she started again] yeah yeah I know you guys don't need it, but please yahan aur kahan se breakfast karo gae. The canteen food is not oh so good ke tum log yahan se karo, so for now shut up and eat.

Armaan: hawww! Bhai don't u you think she is ordering around a lot now adays [he said while giving hand to Atul to pull him up and make him sit]

Atul: yeah even I noticed it [while helping Armaan and settling pillow on his back, turning to Nikki] waise baat kya hai Nikki.

Nikki: koi baat nahin hai shut up and eat now.

Armaan: aww, thank you Nikki love you.

Abhi who was till now listening to all wats going around got alert hearing this and came in his possessive mode.

Abhi: excuse me Dr. Armaan Mallik but I hope u remember I love her and she loves me [all looked towards Abhi trying to get what he means, when Armaan saw through and can see jealousy and thought to have fun].

Armaan: [smirking] so what even I love her and she loves me too [to which Nikki smiled and nooded] See I told you na.

Abhi: no I love her.

Armaan: see she brought breakfast for me that mean she loves me more.

Abhi: Nikki why you didn't brought breakfast for me ever.

Nikki: Abhi listen [cutted by Armaan]

Armaan: arey Nikki yaar its ok you can tell him darne ki zarrorat nahin I know you love.

Niiki: arey magar [this time Abhi cutted her]

Abhi: usey mujhse darne ki zaroorat nahin hai and I know the answer she loves me and only me.

Armaan: u are completely wrong man she loves me.

Abhi: no she loves me

Armaan: no she loves me

Armaan: me

Both bending towards each other and Nikki and Atul held their head seeing them fighting like this, Atul already knew that Armaan was doing it on purpose]

Nikki: Shut up.

Nikki: what the hell it is tum log is tarah bachon jaose kyun larh rahe ho. [angry]

Armaan: the answer is sweet and simple Nikki [when all looked towards him he said] Dr. Abhimanyu Modi was jealous. [Teasingly]

Abhi: no hell in the world I was jealous and that to from you duh!

Armaan: yes u was.

Abhi: no im not.

Armaan: yes u was.

Abhi: no im not.

Armaan: Yes

Abhi: No

Armaan: Yes

Abhi: No

Atul: Shut up guys grows up [both lowered their heads and said sorry]

Armaan: waise Nikki ek kaam ho sakta hai

Nikki: kya. [confused]

Armaan: you tell whom you love more I or Abhi. [looking towards her with hope]

Nikki: tough question u see Armaan u r my best friend and I love you a lot [Armaan smirked and Abhi made a bad face] whereas he is my life and I love him a lot [this time Abhi smirked and Armaan made a bad face] so its really tough to choose among u but yes I can choose one.

Abhi/ Armaan: who

She moved towards Atul and hugged him who responded to the hug.

Nikki: I'll choose Atul, I love you Atul [to which Armaan and Abhi both made a bad face first and then smiled]

Atul: aww, I love you too [he hugged her, as he always takes her as his little sis and AA smiled seeing this].

Abhi: ok chalo done with all the fighting and love yous lets attack on breakfast as we also didn't had any thing in the morning.

With this they started sharing breakfast, jokes and catching up wth each other and enjoying to the core. Unaware of the fact that someone was present their and left with a really sad face and hurt in eyes.

Anjali entered the locker room she was gloomy not her actual self even she didn't reacted seeing Rahul and Muskaan fighting and just sat on the bench still lost in her thoughts. This didn't go unnoticed by Ridhimaa and she went near her and sat beside her.

Ridz: Di [keeping hand on her shoulder] what happened is u alrite?

Anji: [as if coming out some trance] yeah! Yeah im perfectly fine Ridzy.

Muski: but u doesn't seem to Anji kya hua, kisi ne kuch kahan kya? [RM has stopped fighting hearing Ridz]

Rahul: koi problem tu nahin na Anjali.

Ridz: guys Di ko bolne tu do.

Muski: yeh piddi na chup hi nahi karta har waqt bak bak karta rehta hai, Anji ko bolne hi nahin dete.

Rahul: oye chudail mein bolne nahin deta ya teri hi bolti band nahin hoti kenchi [scissors] ki tarah zubaan [tongue] chalti hai teri.

Muski: kya bola sale rukh tujhe abhi batati hoon mein.

And with this began the famous Tom and Jerry but in all that Anjali and Ridhimaa completely forgot the main thing they were doing and started enjoying RM fight.

On the other side,

After finishing off the breakfast made by Nikki, Abhi and Nikki left for the duty where as Atul told Armaan about the important phone calls from their Dad and Mom and asked him to talk to them.

He told him that Dad [Sujal] knows about the incident where as Mom [Kashish] is unaware about it, as he don't want to get her worried as she already is knowing her children are on a dangerous mission.

New York

Sujal and Kashish were sitting lost in their own thoughts which were the same, the safety and health of their children. They were worried for Armaan, Kashish as she thought he is down with fever and Sujal who knew the whole incident happened.

Landline in the Mallik Mansion ring and before even Sujal could react Kashish ran towards and picked it up as if waiting for the call only.

Kash: Hello.

Armaan: Hello beautiful kaise ho aap.

Kash: Armaan mera bacha tu teekh tu hai na.

Armaan: I'm perfectly fine mom bas thora sa fever tha.

Kash: Armaan mujhe pata hai tum dono ka, bahut fever bhi hoga tu bas thora hi hoga. [Armaan laughed] Shut up Armaan and don't laugh, why you don't understand tension ho jate hai mujhe.

Armaan: mom aap ab bilkul tension nahin logaye okay and im perfectly fine aur ab aap jao aur khana kaho aur dad ko bhi khilao. I know abhi tak aap dono ne kuch nahin khaya ho ga.

Kash: tujhe kaise pata [shocked]

Armaan: well [raising his collar] im son of the gorgeous lady and handsome man in the world mujhe sab pata hota hai.

Kash: chup badmash aur rest kar teekh hai, Atul kahan hai.

Armaan: bhai who duty ka time ho raha tha tu who chale gae.

Kash: chala gaya tujhe akela chod kar. [worried]

Armaan: arey mom kahan ja rahe tha itni muskil se dhake marr kar nikala hai mein ne.

Kash: beta lekin agar tabiyat aur kharab ho gae ya tujhe kuch chahiye hua tu, koi tu hona chahiye na pass.

Armaan: arey mom im in the hospital only so don't take tension ok, aur ab yeh maat sochna its something serious who kal yehin tabiyat kharab ho gae thi tu isliye aaj hospital mein hi hoon ok.

Kash: hmmm..

Armaan: mom now don't get serious girlfriend im fine hmm…. Acha chaliye meri dad se baat karaye aur aap ja kar kuch khane ka kuch kariye and feed ut hungry lion.

Kash: hungry lion who tu abhi fry ho raha hai jealousy mein seems I have to call the fire brigade. [Armaan laughed hearing it] aur waise bhi mera lion tu tu hai.

Armaan: lion arey nahin girlfriend im tu cub. Love you

Kash: hatt..badmash le dad se baat kar. Love you too Babu, Sujal Armaan.

Sujal: oh tu finally ma bete ki bateein khatam ho gaye.

Kash: tu aap kyun jal rahe hain. Mera beta hai jitna mann chahiye baat karon gi.

Sujal: huh.

Kash: huh [and she left the room where as Armaan laughed hearing them]

Sujal: kaise ho babu.

Armaan: im fine dad zyada chot nahin ayi hai it will be fine in some days.

Sujal: zyada pain tu nahin na, mujhe Atul bata hi nahin raha tha but mein bhi uska baap hoon.

Armaan: haha..i knew it, bhai kit u shakal dekhne wale thi when he told me how u threatned him throwing all his plants and he spilled out everything.

Sujal: well I have my own ways. Acha can u tell me more about this Mr. X tum jab lab mein gae tu kuch dekha ya suna.

Armaan: no dad wahan koi nahin tha, but my gut feeling was telling me ke kuch gadbad hai ek ajeeb si smell ayi thi when I entered but then I let it go thinking im just overreacting may be medicine ki hi smell ho.

Sujal: so u don't have any particular evidence chalo its fine we'll get it. But ab tum teenon ko bahut careful hona ho ga, ready to face any situation seems this Mr.X is keeping eyes on you guys as well.

Armaan: we'll do it dad, chalo ab jao meri fikar chodo aur khana khayae I know aap logon ne ab tak kuch nahin kahaua hoga.

Sujal: bohat fikar thin a beta aur teri maa se zyada tu mujhe tension thi.

Armaan: I know dad but im fine now hmm…chalo now go have something. Love you.

Sujal: love you too babu, take care and we'll try to be there as soon as possible.

After this phone call and the small conversation between them left a sweet smile on Armaan's face and Sujal and Kashish were also happy and satisfied knowing their son's are fine.

Armaan was still remembering the conversation with his parents when Dr. Kirti entered followed by Dr. Ridhimaa.

Dr. Keerti: Good morning Dr. Armaan how are you feeling now.

Armaan: im perfectly fine ma'am thank you.

Dr. Keerti: alrite than lets do your check up.

Dr. Keerti along with Ridhimaa did his check up and asked Ridhimaa to do some tests to check if there are any major burns or someother problem, and she left after that.

Ridhimaa was still standing there looking down and her face shows her nervousness, Armaan looked towards her and knows she want to say something but either nervous or don't know what to say so her broke the awkward air between them.

Armaan: kya hua Ridhimaa, kuch kehna tha.

Ridhimaa: actually Armaan [Armaan looked towards her] im really sorry jo kuch bhi sab meri wajah se hua mein ne tu prank khelna chaha tha pata nahin yeh sab kaise. Im really very sorry Armaan, I really apoloize for my behaviour jo bhi aab tak hua im really sorry for that.

Arman: arey bas bas kitni baar sorry kaho gi Ridhimaa its completely fine. I know tum log ek prank khelna chahte thae, but tumhein uske consequence nahin maloom tha. So Its completely okay I forgave u guys from my heart bas agey se kisi ke saath aisa prank na karna jiska result tum aur usey dono ko chot pochanchae.

Ridz: I promise agey se aise kuch nahin karongi, kabhi nahi. I have learnt from my mistake.

Armaan: great waise tumhari chot kaise hai.

Ridz: oh who perfectly fine what about urs.

Armaan: thoda sa pain hai but much better. So what se Basket friends.

Ridz: yeah sure Mr. Loser friends.

With this they shaked hands with each other and gave one of their brightest smiles.
