PART 38

That same evening Sid and Riddhima came home quite late, Sue and Sim were already sleeping. So without making any noise and walking on their toes both head to their bedroom.

Riddhima went inside to bathroom to change her clothes while Sid was sprawled on the sofa with his eyes closed. Riddhima wasn't surprised at all when she saw him like that she knew he was very tired. She carefully sits near him and rests her palm on top of his hand and he opens his eyes.

Ridz: bohut thaag gaaye ho naa? (holding her hand he rests his head on her lap and places her palm on his forehead closing his eyes again)

Sid: I'm fine bas sar mein toda dard hai (she knew he wont take any medicine so didn't even bother to ask and instead started slowly massaging his head. A slight smile appears on Sid's lips seeing that she already knew the answer) davai lene ke liye poochogi nahin?

Ridz: maana karoge tho poochne ka kya faida?

Sid: tum mujhe itni achi tarah kaise jaan sakti ho? (she smiles)

Ridz: pata nahin...kabhi kabhi aisa hota hai jab ek insaan apne aap se ziada kisi aur ke bare mein sab janta hai jaise hum dono...bina bole hum ek doosre ke dil ki baat samajh sakte hain aur yahin humari rishtey ki khaasiyat hai

Sid: kya tumhe kabhi laga tha ke tumhe mujh jaise ladke se pyaar hoga?

Ridz: Sid zindagi ne mujhe aisa ghum diya tha jiske waje se main pyaar naam ki cheez se jitna door ho sakta tha bhagti thi..chahe voh pariwaar ka pyaar ho ya ek dost ka...lekin pata nahin kyun naa chahte hue bhi main humesha tumhari taraf kheechti jaa rahi thi...tum mere life mein ek angel baan ke aa gaye Sid aur koi tumse pyaar kaise nahin kar sakta (the conversation was getting intense and Sid was feeling it. Even thought now it was easier for Riddhima to talk about her past he knew it would still hurt her. He can't change what she went through but he can help her erease those painful memories. And right now he knew he had to bring back her smile. He sits to face her)

Sid: I think tum ek important reason bhool rahi ho jiski waje se tumhe mujhse pyaar hua hai

Ridz: kya? (he bends a lil to get close to her)

Sid: mere good looks! (ridz raises her brows) issi liye tum itna possessive ho mere saath..kyunki tumhara pati bohut hi hot aur handsome hai (ridz covers her lips with her fingers but her smile wasn't unnoticed) lekin mere jaise ladke ke saath sirf tum hi match kar sakti ho (he slowly runs his fingers through her hair but ridz didn't break the eye contact)

Ridz: bohut late hai Sid change kar ke so jao (she stands up to leave but Sid grabs her hand and pulls her on his lap) Sid what are you doing? (he tightens his grip around her waist)

Sid: catch up...

Ridz: kya? (looking at him confused)

Sid: Riddhima main saara din tumse door raha aaj...tho jo pyaar maine tumse aaj nahin kiya main ab karunga (she smiles)

Ridz: Sid tumhare sar mein dard tha naa?

Sid: dard tha Riddhima lekin ab...(he lifts her in his arms and Ridz wraps her arms around his neck)

Ridz: par ab? (in a whisper)

Sid: batana zaroori hai? (he whispers back. He gently kisses her forehead and walks towards their bed)

It was around 6 am in the morning but still everyone was sleeping at the penthouse. Everyone except Sid. He was indeed in his bed but he was doing something way better than sleeping at this time. Something he will never get bored of. Admiring...he was lovingly admiring his wife sleeping next to him looking like the most innocent angel that could exist. He has his hand under his head for support and with his free hand he was exploring Riddhima's face. Gently removing her hair from her eyes he bends and plants a kiss on each eye. Then coming to her nose he smiles remembering how easily she gets angry. He slowly kisses the top of her nose.

A sunrise hits her face and she slowly opens her eyes and finds Sid already up.

Ridz: kya hua tum jaag kyun rahe ho? (in a worried tone. Sid sighs deeply)

Sid: aankh khul gaayi aur phir tumhe dekh kar neend udh gaayi tho tumhe soote hue dekhne laga...

Ridz: kab se dekh rahe ho mujhe?

Sid: pata nahin shayad ek do ghante se (ridz eyes widened)

Ridz: kya? tum mujhe do ghante se dekh rahe ho? (he nods as if it was something very normal) tum pagaal ho gaaye ho pata hai?

Sid: shayad...(she smiles)

Ridz: aur tum dekh kya rahe the?

Sid: yahin ke tum soote hue kitni khusbsoorat lagti ho...maine zindagi mein kabhi itni khubsoorat ladki dekhi nahin...tumhari badi aankhein..gussa wala nakh (ridz smiles) aur...

Ridz: aur? (he bends and drops a gentle kiss on her lips. After a short moment he breaks the kiss and smiles looking at her)

Sid: aur tumhare yeh meethi honth (ridz hides herself in his arms resting her head on his bare chest)

Ridz: Sid kya tum mujhse humesha aise hi pyaar karoge?

Sid: nahin…(she looks up at him surprised) main har din tumse toda ziada pyaar karunga (she smiles and he kisses her forehead and both get back to sleep in each others arms.

The day in hospital was very enjoyable for Sid. As he became back the usual Sid what he did all day was spend time with Riddhima. Whenever he got a chance he used to drag Riddhima in an isolated place and spend some good time with her.

Riddhima was walking through the corridors when she felt herself pulled inside the FE.

For a sec she was afraid but gets annoyed seeing Sid.

Ridz: Sid kya kar rahe ho?

Sid: mujhe tumse baat karni hai

Ridz: Sid tumne aaj mujhe bohut taang kiya ab mujhe chodo mujhe bohut kam hai

Sid: tumhi ne tho kaha dobara vahin Sid baan jaoun tho main bhi vahin kar raha hoon

Ridz: Sid tum pehle se bhi ziada taang kar rahe ho mujhe!

Sid: acha yeh akhri bar hai...duty ke baad bahar chalte hain ghoomne?

Ridz: ghoomne? Sid mujhe aaj bohut kam hai

Sid: Riddhima tum subah se kam kar rahi ho yaar ab mere liye bhi toda waqt nikal lo after all main tumhara pati hoon! (ridz rolls her eyes now used to this)

Ridz: ok fine fine mere patidev hum jaa rahe hain ghoomne (sid smiles) par agar abhi tumne mujhe jaane nahin diya tho sab cancel

Sid: todi der ke liye Riddhima yahan koi bhi nahin hai

Ridz: Siddd...(raising her brow. He sadly frees her from his grip)

Sid: theek hai jao (ridz smiles and was about to leave but before drops a kiss on his cheek. Watching her leave he smiles carresing his cheek)

It was around 6pm and Sid was waiting in his car. He was getting very impatient and checking time every now and then. Finaly the car's door opens and Riddhima gets in.

Ridz: I'm sorry toda late hua par Dr Kirti se ek case discuss kar rahi thi

Sid: koi baat nahin ab chalein?

Ridz: par hum jaa kahan rahe hain?

Sid: sab se pehle tho dinner karenge phir toda ghoomenge aur ek long drive pe chalenge (ridz smiles)

Ridz: baki ka pata nahin par long drive pe jaana bohut acha idea hai

They spend a great evening together. After having dinner in a very nice restaurant they were enjoying the long drive. Sid stops the car when they reach the beach and both walk along the sea Sid's arm around her waist. After a long walk they take rest on the warm sand. Riddhima was sitting between Sid's legs and he has wraped his arms around her. Both were watching the sun set which reflection was hitting the sea. Suddenly something stroke Riddhima's mind. Sid keeps saying that he will love her more every day but what will happen when they'll have a baby? Will he still love her as much as he does now? Or will he spend as much time with her?

Ridz: Sid jab humare ghar mein ek baby aayega tho kya tum badal jaaoge? (sid didn't know what she meant by that so gave a normal answer)

Sid: haan

Ridz: sach? matlab abhi tum jaise ho bache ki aane ke baad tum vaise nahin rahoge?

Sid: main ek bohut acha dad baan na chahta hoon Riddhima...apne bache ko bohut pyaar karunga aur usse kabhi kisi cheez ki kami mehsoos nahin hone dunga (that was indeed sweet of him but right now Riddhima was worried to lose his love)

Ridz: iska matlab tum mujhse ziada humare bache se pyaar karoge aur mujhe bhool jaoge?! (sid smiles and rests his chin on her shoulder)

Sid: Riddhimaa...meri life mein main sab se ziada tumse pyaar karta hoon aur humesha karunga..tum sab se ziada important ho mere liye...aur humare bache ke aane ke baad main tumse aur bhi ziada pyaar karunga (ridz smiles feeling relieved)

Ridz: promise? (he smiles)

Sid: promise

Ridz: main bohut selfish hoon naa?

Sid: kabhi kabhi life mein selfish hona padta hai..aur agar tum mujhe le kar selfish baan rahi ho tho mere liye iss se ziada acha kya ho sakta hain (ridz smiles and Sid kisses her neck and tightens his grip)
