Ridhima was sittin on her bed with a glow on her face, glow of happiness, her happiness had no bounds today, becoz the dream which she has seen since her childhood fulfilled today...the dream to be Armaan's wife, by the thouught of Armaan her cheeks turned red due to blush, she suddenly got nervous thinking about the night.....she was little bit scared to face him as they never met since 9 yrs, though she saw his picture which ananya aunty gave her before marraige...

Her heart skipped few beats when she first looked at his pic, he was looking utterly handsome wearing a faded blue jeans and white shirt, she took out Armaan's photo frame form left side of the bed and rubbed her finger on it and blushed... she remembered how her friends would tease her when she would get lost in dreaming about Armaan "shona tu to paagal ho gayi hai Armaan ke pyaar mein, lagta hai shaadi ke baad to hamein yaad bhi nahi karegi" said her friends giggling, all the people who loved ridhima called her shona affectionately.... "Armaan tujhe chodega tabhi to hamen yaad karegi na" said another friend nudging her.... "Armaan mujhe itna pyaar karega ke mujhe kisi ki yaad nahi aayegi" she would answer them back whith blush on her face.

Suddenly a noice of breaking galss brought her back from her thoughts" yeh awaaz kaisi hai" she thought and got up from the bed carefully managing her lahenga which was too heavy .... by reaching the door she heard loud voices as if someone arguing... she tried to hear them but could'nt hear them clearly " main jakar dekhun ya nahi, kya pata koi problem hui to, agar main gayi to wo kahi mujhse naraaz hogaye to " she was in two minds to go or not to go....after debating herself she decided to find out whats the matter.

As she came out of the room the voices became more louder, she heade towards the direction from where the voices were coming, but stopped in middle " nahi mujhe aise chup kar baaten nahi sunni chahiye, mujhe is waqt apne room mein hona chahiye chahiye, Armaan room mein aaye aur mujhe wahaan na dekh kar wo mujhse gussa hogaye to ... main Armaan ko naraaz nahi kar sakti, mujhe room mein waapas jaana chahiye...

She turned to go back to her room but stopped in her tracks hearing her name, ridhima could'nt hold herself further and moved ahead towards the room from where the voices were coming, she stopped at the window from which she can see Armaan arguing with his mom...

she heard ananya saying " beta shona bahut achi ladki hai, tum uske saath bahut khush rahoge"..... mom maine aap se pehle bhi kaha tha ke main ye shaadi nahi karoonga aur aap ne kaha tha ki aap dad ko is baat ke liye manaa lengi, then why mom... why did you do this" armaan yelled at his mom.... by hearing this Ridhima's felt a pang on her heart ....

she looked at ananya who kept comfronting hand on Armaan's shoulder " beta main ne tera dad se is baare mein baat ki thi, lekin hum ye baat padma ko samjhaa pate us se pehle hi padma ki death heart attack ki wajah se hogayi, shona ka hamaare siva is duniya mein aur koi nahi tha, isi liye hamein teri aur shona ki shaadi karni padi", Armaan removed ananya's hand from his shoulder frustrated "beta tu samajne ki koshish kyun nahi karta tere dad ne padma se waada tha ki wo teri aur shona ki shaadi karenge... aur padma ki death ke baad hum is waade se nahi peeche hat sakte the"

"Dad ne aur aapne apna waada nibhaane ke liye meri khushi koi parwah nahi ki, aur meri shaadi ek aisi ladki se karvaadi jis se nato main aaj tak milaa aur na hi use kabhi dekha hai, main apni wife ke baare mein kuch nahi jaanta sivaaye ke uska naam shona hai" Armaan said and ran his fingers in his hair frustrated."

"Par beta maine tujhe tujhe uski photo di thi lekin tu ne hi dekhne se manaa kardi" ...... dekh kar kya kerleta aap ne aur dad ne shaadi ki date to pehle hi fix kardi thi, agar main use dekh kar na pasand kardeta to... to kya aap yeh shaadi hone se rok pati??" Armaan asked getting angry.. Ridhima on the other hand was totally numb by listening to Armaan.

"Armaan dekh ab to teri shaadi ho chuki hai aur wo teri patni hai, tujhe use apnaana hi hoga, aur mujhe poora bharosa hai ki shona tujhe bahut khush rakhegi, tu ek baar use samajhne ki koshish to kar" ananya tried to make him understand again

"Nahi mom wo aap ke liye is ghar ki bahu hogi par mere liye wo sirf ek anjaan ladki hai, a complete stranger jise main apni patni kabhi nahi maan sakta, maine aap se pehle hi kaha tha mai shaadi usi se karoonga jis se main pyaar karoonga" Armaan said with anger and left the room..... "Armaan meri baat to suno" ananya caleed him but he did'nt stop.

Ridhima's eyes welled up ... she collapsed on the floor feeling weak to stand.... "Arm...Armaan mujhse shaadi nahi karna chahta tha.... mere saath hi aisa kyun hota hai pehle papa, phir mom aur... aur ab Armaan main jise bhi pyaar karti hun wo mujhse door kyun chala jata hai.... maine is din ka sapna bachpan se dekha tha lekin..lekin" she cried bitterly by hiding her face in her palms.

Ridhima cried a lot and then forced herself to stand on her feet and moved towards her room.... coming out of the room anaya saw ridhima going to her room and by seeing her state ananya understood she heard everything that Armaan said and felt guilty for ruining her life.
