Recap-But he promised himself that Mr Rajinder Sahni shall receive blood instead of blood.The thought of exposing a man who have wrongly deceived his love and her family was long gone...right now the only thing on his mind was punishing a criminal who have dared to claim an innocents' life.

Chapter-24 Back in your arms

PAST

''He died'', Rano fell on the couch with a thud holding the newspaper in her hands.Shock,horror and pain was evident on her face as she muttered those words trying to register the shock which she got after reading the news of Rajinder's sudden and mysterious death.All the members of the family had the same reaction as even they tried to cope with the sudden bad news.

Mohinder removed his spectacles and rubbed his eyes with his fingers.Rajinder was more like a son to this family.He have been friends with Brij as well as Geet.The whole Handa family trusted him with their eyes closed.This was the reason they never hesitated leaving Geet around him and this also contributed to the reason why they wanted Rajinder as their son-in-law.

Geet came to the dining hall,lost in a world of her own when all of a sudden she felt conscious of the environment.She looked at the mother first and then everyone else present in the hall.Her heart skipped a beat as she was swept with guilt and remorse for being so selfish all this while,only thinking about herself.But what scared her more was her family's present,she wondered what is it which is making them shed tears.Is she the reason? Have Nandini blurted out the truth in front of them? She gulped her saliva as she thought of the consequences but gathered the courage to ask them what had happened.

''Maa...what...what happened?'' She asked fearfully as she saw her mother's tears.

Her daughter's voice made her shudder a bit and then she felt Geet's hand touch her shoulder.Rano just looked up looking at Geet blankly and then raised her hand holding the newspaper.

Geet quickly took the newspaper from her mother's hand and read the front page news.The paper fell from her hands and that's when an army of people barged into their house led by a woman in a dishevelled state.The woman was none other than Rajinder's mother and before Geet would know,the woman slapped Geet hard and started to hurl curses and abuses.

It was two days since the death of Rajinder.The last rites were done and both the families were almost on no talking terms.

Geet was exhausted-both mentally and physically.She was tired of hearing all the accusations which were hurled at her every now and then,tired from crying her eyes out for the person whom she considered as one of her best friends.She missed Maan like hell.She wanted someone,just someone strong and mature enough to handle her,let her cry,pour her heart out.She has become so much dependent on him...she just wanted him once,only so that she could hide her face in his chest and cry.

It was past 10 in the night.All the family members have retired to their respective rooms.Geet was the last to go to her room.She now had the room all to herself one more time-no Pammi or Nandini to share her room.

As she bolted the door from inside and turned around,a hand covered her mouth and another gripped her waist tightly.

Her initial shock turned to relief as she recognized his touch,his aroma,his very familiar presence.She closed her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder.

''Liked my surprise baby?'' Maan asked in his seductive voice as he grazed her neck from the back and then proceeding towards the fastening of the strings of her kurti biting them open.

A tear escaped from the corner of Geet's eyes as she sighed sadly.Maan sensed everything but preferred to not dwell too much into it and live the moment of having her in his arms once again and show her how much he missed her-in his own way.

Maan continued to shower her with his wet kisses on her back and shoulder before turning her to make her face him.He looked at her intently-her beautiful features shining in the moonlight in this otherwise dark room,making her look even more serene.

But even amidst this,he didn't miss the tiredness,the sadness on her face.Her eyes were still closed and he noticed the teardrop making it's way to her cheek.He gripped her waist tightly to control the anger which rose in him seeing his Geet shedding tears for some other man-and that too a criminal!

The whole family was doing that,but he could care less-he was rejoicing the fact that he had done the earth a favour by eradicating a monster called Rajinder Sahni,but not before making sure he is tortured to death for committing such a heinous crime.

He not only locked him in a very small,dark room,without any electricity or food,making sure he is locked till he is dead,but also manipulated his post-mortem report which stated that he died some 24 hours before the poison of the swamp adder entered his body-making a murder seem like a suicide or an accident isn't anything new to him,but in this case,he did everything on his own.

Geet hugged him tight and hid her face in his chest-something which she wanted to do so badly.But strangely she didn't cry.She smiled amidst tears as a wave of emotions swept over her-this was a feeling which she could neither express in words or actions-the feeling which she was feeling right now,of being in his embrace after what seemed like years,of being able to hug him,feel him,love him.

Maan didn't wait any longer as he scooped her up in his arms and proceeded towards the bed.Geet kind of knew this was coming,but she didn't complain as she gave in to the moment and encircled her hands around his neck.

He gently placed her on the bed and came on top of her.He leaned forward and whispered something in her ear which made her blush and then he began...

He got up, stripped his shirt open and unbuttoned his denims.He then leaned on her and took her lips in a kiss that once again made fireworks explode within their bodies.Geet responded with equal fervour,in a way letting him know that she missed him equally.

Maan then proceeded to rip her kurti apart and unhook her bra in a jerk and pounce on her,kissing her biting her exposed skin wildly,letting her get swayed in the storm of passion.

As he pulled down the last bit of fabric from both their bodies,he entered her in a strong and aggressive thrust,claiming her one more time,making her moan out his name which drove him insane and made him enter her harder with each thrust.

''I love you'' she whispered out heaving as he collapsed on her.

''I love you too'' he replied nipping her earlobe.

''I missed you so much'' she added hugging him tight.

''Raji...'' she couldn't say further as Maan claimed her lips one more time just to ensure she doesn't utter that b******'s name one more time.

Phew...done with the update...over 2 u all!!!!
