Thanks for your patience, it took a while to post this part because I was busy with other things, you know work life and all, but here I am with part 19 and this is the very high point of my story, I am not sure about your reaction but I will bet that this story is becoming more and more intense from today onwards.

Part 19

In the evening, she reached home where Shasha and Pinkey were talking, she told them she was going out with Sameer tonight but she didn't mention more than that.

Shasha and Pinkey were pulling her legs and they were suggesting various ideas to dress up nicely for Sameer.

Geet didn't listen to them and she has decided to dress up simply.

Geet came out of her room after getting ready.

Shasha and Pinkey were making face towards her and making sound "oh, now I know why man would fall for you even if you dress up simply".

Geet was dressed up in pink chudidar dress, her dupatta was made of net and her pink earrings were flying with the air, she carried one simple purse with her, she smelled very nice, her kajal is evenly spread around the circle of her eye which makes her brown eyes look more beautiful.

Finally Sameer was at the door to pick her up, he opened the door of his car and let Geet entered.

Sameer was also dressed up nicely, with his blue silky shirt, silky tie and black blazer with black shoes, he was looking really handsome and any girl could die to date him, his dark black eyes with fair skin does look like a prince.

They reached to the red fort, Sameer opened the door for Geet and both were walking towards the Red Fort, the beauty of red fort was unexplainable, specially Red Fort looks more glorious when the sun rays touches it and looks like it reflects the red color everywhere.

Geet was lost in the beauty of red fort; she was staring at the architecture very carefully.

Sameer was guiding her throughout the fort and explaining her history behind it. Red fort is the synthesis of European, Persian and Indian art. When they reached the center of the fort, Sameer had something in his mind.

He stood on his knees.

When he sat down on his knees, Geet got surprised, she didn't know what he was doing.

"Sameer, what are you doing?"Geet asks.

"Geet, today I want to ask you and tell you something which I was thinking for past few days, but I couldn't gather courage to ask, then I thought it is better to ask rather than having regret forever for not asking, hence without any boundaries, I am going to ask you something."Sameer says.

Geet got an idea what was coming but she didn't know that it would be coming so soon.

Sameer took out a ring from his pocket, the diamond ring was very small but very adorable, it had a vintage look, ring looked like a princess ring which could be going on for a couple of generations in Sameer's family.

"Geet, I want to marry you but I don't want to force you for something if you are not up for it, and I don't want you to decide it right away, but you have changed my life, I used to think that I was happy and satisfied in my life before you entered but actually you are the person who showed me what happiness means and what satisfaction means, I was living the half life before you came in to my life, the God inside me has told me that nobody could be better than you for me, you are the perfect dream girl for me."Sammer says while looking at Geet's eyes.

Geet was shocked as well as surprised, her eyes were filled with tears, she got freeze and she couldn't move, her eyes were set on Sameer's eyes, she couldn't breathe, a sensation touched her heart, she was undecided about the situation, and she didn't know how to react.

"Geet, you have explained me the definition of life through your eyes, I used to believe that the world is full of bad people and cheating is everywhere, though through your eyes I have seen the beauty of the world, innocence of the world, your eyes are as innocent as kids' eyes, I felt that world is not as bad as I used to think, there are many good things about this world which I couldn't notice before and all people are not selfish in this world, I wouldn't say filmy things like I will die without you or something on that line, but I would definitely say that there wouldn't be much left in the life if you are not with me to share my life, I want to visit Paris with you and I want to walk on Switzerland street while holding your hands." Sameer continues.

Geet was staring at Sameer like the world around her was stopped, her blood was settled and her joints were stiff. Inhaling deep heavy air, she closed her eyes and cherishing the moment while letting go off her tears from her eyes to cheeks to chin to her hands. The feeling was unbearable to let it go and she wants to hold it and on the other side she wants to let go off feelings and wants to run away from this situation. The million and zillion things were going on in her mind which she can't explain but she knew the time had come and she couldn't hold it more. She had to say something. She had to exhale the air to feel the oxygen again, to feel the life again.

"Geet, say something, I am not expecting yes or no right now, but I like to hear your voice again, the voice of freedom, the voice of my heart."Sameer says.

Geet broke away her silence and air around her was suddenly sweeter than before, and winds were harassing her with the cold breeze in between, but she had to speak now.

"Sameer, any girl would be lucky to have you as a life partner, and I am not saying this to make you feel better but I mean it, you are like every girl's dream man, you have been a knight in a shining armor for me, you have been with me in my good and bad times, and you made me realize what I can achieve and what I can deserve, I really thank you for everything, but before deciding anything, you need to know my past, you need to know the depth of my life, you need to know real me." Geet says.

"Geet, nothing can change my decision, not your past, and not your present, what matters to me is your present from today onwards and your future for which I have a chance to change. Though sharing your past can provide you satisfaction and can take your pain away, then I am ready to listen to it, but let me tell you it won't change anything between us, it won't change whatever we shared, and we will share, I want to hear it because it can disburden your heart and at the end whatever is your decision, I will appreciate it and I will go forward with it." Sameer says.

Sameer stood up and he tried to remove tears from Geet's cheeks, she opened her eyes and she was looking at Sameer.

She moved little bit and she moved her face in other direction like she was trying to hide her tears.

"Sameer, I grew up in a very small town Hoshiarpur and I belonged to very conservative family where girls have no right to speak, I lived a very sheltered life though many times I thought to run away from that life and live my life on my terms and conditions, but I never gathered courage to do that, when I turned 18, my father and brother decided to get me married, I didn't want to marry because I wanted to study but I didn't have a choice rather go along with their plan, then all my wedding preparations started and they wanted me to get married with a very reputed family of Hoshiarpur but the man was known as Casanova in the community hence my best friend suggested me to run away from the house, it was something I could never do, I couldn't disrespect my family but eventually I did that, and I didn't know how much my family hate me for that, and they might not be able to forgive me for that, but when I came here, I came up with the mindset that this is my new beginning of life and I will fight for it no matter what happens, and here I am, standing on my feet, a new, independent Geet, who is alone now, without any family, like an orphan, I know that you have good reputation in the society, so marrying a girl without any family background could affect your reputation, and I don't want to do that."Geet says while Sameer was listening to her carefully with intense eyes, staring at her with emotions.

"Geet, as I told you my decision wouldn't change, and I don't care about any other things, bringing you in my life wouldn't ruin my reputation, you shouldn't think like that, you will add to my happiness and that is what matter to me and my family, everybody will accept you the way you are right now, never consider yourself as orphan ever, whether you accept me or not but I will be by your side whenever you need me, I would like to give you more time to think about my proposal so you don't have to answer right away, we can leave right now, I will drop you to your house and I won't ask about this till you are ready to talk about it."Sameer says.

"Shall we leave now?"Sameer asked Geet while holding her hands.

wow sameer does seem like a good guy, and it will hurt me when geet goes with maan, but the truth is that maan and geet are made for each other, so i hope that sameer will also be able to find his sole mate.
