Hello all....surprised?? i am back so soon...

and this time with a LONGER UPDATE especially for princess163 and Bhabzz who wanted a longer update...so i especially want longer comments from you two...

Ok...here we go.......

Recap: Geet and Vicky have a talk and Vicky decides to tell someone his secret

Chapter 12

Geet walked out of KM after breakfast to see Raju bhayia waiting for her. "Good morning Raju Bhayia. How are you? , she asked. Raju lovingly patted her head and said, " Good morning Geet. I am fine. Are we ready to go? Geet nodded. Raju proceeded to open the door but she beat him to it and opened it to let herself to in. Raju smiled at her childish behaviour and walked to the other side. They left for the office.

Geet noticed at the bouquet of red and white roses on the seat. She picked them up and read the note attached to it

To: Misiti, the most beautiful girl in the world

Thank you for giving me the best night of my life'I hope we spent every night in each other arms..

She smiled at his sweet gesture and blushed at his words, he really was a sweetheart and he was all hers. She decided to call him to thank him. "Did you like your little gift?", he asked as he picked up her call. She smiled her sweetest smile and replied, "Yes, I loved it very much." "And the note?", he asked. Geet blushed a rich red and said nothing. "Oh seems like you didn't like the note at all.",he said. " No, no, I loved the note more than the flowers," she quickly said before she even realized. "I mean, I mean--", she tried to amend. Maan laughed and said, "no need to explain Darling, I understand perfectly. And as much I would hate to end this wonderful conversation, I have to be in a meeting so I will see you once you get here." "Ok, see you soon.", she said in return

Geet strolled into Khurana Constructions and smiled at everyone as they greeted her by saying Good Morning Geet Madam. Initially she had found it odd and wanted everyone to treat her only as Maan's secretary but Maan told her she was soon going to be Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana so she might as well get used to. Her attempts to correct her fellow co-workers went in vain and over time she accepted the change.

She was about to pass the reception when she noticed her friend Pinky fuming in anger and eating a chocolate bar so she figured it was time to make her first pit stop.

"Oye Pinky, what happened?", she asked as she placed her hand on Pinky's shoulder. Picky took another bite of her chocolate bar and said, " What do I tell you Geet? This stupid Adi." Geet didn't like seeing her best friend and asked, "What happened with Adi? Did you two have a fight?" "Geet, that man doesn't even have time to fight with me. He doesn't have time for anything. He is always so busy with Khurana Constructions. It's like he has decided to spend every minute of his life in KC. How do you ever find time with Maan Sir.?" Geet couldn't help but smile at her friend's anger towards her soon to be husband because it was reflective of the love she had for him, she said, "Don't worry Pinks, I will talk to Adi Sir. He just use to be Maan's right hand, he doesn't want to give Maan a chance to find any fault with his work.", she reassured. Pinky nodded and smiled. To cheer her up, Geet pulled a chocolate out her bag and handed it to her before walking off. Pinky gave a faint smile and hug in return. So now, she had to talk to Adi.

She was about to head off to Adi's cabin when she saw Romeo in his cubicle staring at small box and whispering to himself. It was time for pit stop number 2. Geet lighted patted his shoulder and Romeo jumped out of his seat and dropped the box. Romeo quickly grabbed the box and hid it behind his back. Geet was slightly confused with Romeo's odd behaviour. "Romeo, is everything ok?", she asked. "Yes, yes, everything is absolutely fine.",he said. Geet crossed her arms and gave him a knowing look. "Really, is that so? Then why are you looking so frizzled and on top of that, you are also talking to yourself.", she said. Romeo looked defeated and slumped in his chair. "What do I tell you Geet? I am so confused.", he said. Geet pulled a chair and sat next to him. "Try telling me Romeo, maybe I can help somehow.", she said. Romeo looked from right to left for passing people and motioned her to come closer. Geet went forward and he whispered, "I want to propose'." Geet pulled back and stared, "Tasha?", she questioned. (Note: Romeo and Tasha have been in a relationship and Tasha is a good girl now) Romeo nodded and showed her the diamond ring and said, "I don't know how to tell her that I want to take our relationship to the next level. And I don't even if she feels the same way." "Oh Romeo, how will you know if you don't talk to her? Girls like it when you communicate with them. You need to talk to Tasha and tell her how you really feel. How she has changed your life and what is her importance is in your life.", she explained. Romeo smiled and nodded. "Thank you Geet. You are a awesome help.", he said and smiled "Your welcome. Tell me how it goes.", she said as she got up to walk off.

Somehow, she made it to Adi's cabin after talking to one person or another about whatever problem they seem to be having. She softly knocked and opened the door. Adi got up as he saw Geet, " G'Geet, come in, there is no need to knock. Geet smiled and sat down. "Adi Sir, I don't want to interfere in your personal life but I don't like seeing my best friend upset.", she said without beating around the bush. "I am sorry geet" , he said simply. "Adi sir, there is no need for you to apologize to me. I know you are a committed worker of khurana constructions but you need to find a balance with your personal life because you are now sharing it with another person. You and pinky are engaged and she is upset that you can't find time for her at all.", she explained. Adi sighed and said "I know geet but kc is very important to me and I can't let maan sir down." Geet nodded in understanding and said, "yes I know. He can be quite a workaholic but he can make time for me. So I am sure you can too for pinky. You love her, right?" Of course I love her that's why I want to marry her. I am going to try to make it to her. Geet smiled and said. "Good, I hope it works out. Knowing my best friend, she can't stay upset for long with the people she loves." She winked and walked out.

She realized that she had been here for so long but she hadn't met her Prince Charming. She walked in his cabin to find it empty. She wondered where he could be. She pulled out her phone to call him but had no luck. She figured he was in a meeting so she text him instead.

To: Dhak Dhak

Hello my dhak dhak, since you didn't pick up your misiti's call. I think you are in a meeting. I have been in the office for a while but haven't had the chance to meet you. I miss you <3 When are you going to done?

Maan smiled as he read the text and replied

To: misiti

Yes madam. You have assumed correctly. I am in a meeting and I should be done in an hour. I miss you too. Can't wait to see your beautiful face.

She read his text and smiled. She turned around to walk to her own cabin and bumped into Adi

"Oh s-sorry geet." "It's ok adi sir." "Actually geet I was looking for you. There is an onsite problem with nioda problem and we need someone to go and check. Maan sir is already in a meeting. I would have gone but it's not in my area of expertise and I have an annual accounts report due to maan sir. Do you think you can go with Romeo and check?"

"Sure adi sir." Soon a reluctant Romeo who didn't want to leave his Juliet and Geet headed out to the Nioda site.

A hour and 10 minutes later ( 4:00 pm)- Khurana Constructions

Maan walked out of the conference room as the meeting came to an end. And now he wanted to take a break and spend quality time with the woman he loved the most. With that plan in mind, he made his way to Geet's cabin only to find it empty. He pulled out his cell and called her.

"Hello maan" she said. "Geet, where are you? I have been looking for you.", his voice lazed with worry and anxiety. "Oh didn't Adi sir tell you, there was a problem on site for the nioda project so I came along with Romeo." He let out a sigh of relief. "Ok, but is everything okay? Do you need me come ?" "No Sir, I can handle it." "Oh, I am sure my girl can handle it.", he said. "Ok then, I will see you soon." "I would hope so most of the day has gone by and I haven't even seen you forget the touching anything about touching."Geet laughed and blushed at same time and said, "bye maan I love you." "Love you too Misiti"

6:00 pm- Khurana Mansion

Vicky paced from one end of his room to another. He didn't how he was going to tell the truth to his BB. A truth he hid from his family for five years. But he knew he had to do the right thing, his Bhabz had reassured him that the truth was very important. Vicky glanced at his watch and saw it was 6:00 pm which means his BB would be home in about an hour. "Hmm..i don't want to tell him the truth at home, god knows how will react. But what if he decides to explode on me? I should have Bhabz or D to save me.", he talked to himself as he decided where and how he was going to tell his eldest brother who was his father in reality the truth. He decided to text him to meet him somewhere outside

To:BB

Hey BB, I was wondering if you are almost done for the day at work'

Maan glanced at his blackberry as his phone beeped. He pulled the phone out of the pouch and read the text

To: Vicky

Yes, I should be home in about a hour. Anything important?

Vicky read the text..wow..i didn't think I knew my brother so well.

To:BB

Ok, do you think you could meet me at seaside cafe in half an hour? There is something I need to talk about

Oh god, here it goes he said--- send

Maan read and worry took over his face. He knew his younger brother was hiding something from him. He guessed it was time vicky decided to open up

To Vicky

Sure Vicky. I will see you soon

Maan was about to head out and checked through the glass to see geet's cabin still empty. He called her and let her a voicemail when she didn't pick up.

"Hi Geet, I am heading out now because I have to meet to vicky at seaside cafe. There is something he needs to talk about. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that. Anyway...Raju will be here to pick you up. And I am really hoping to see you at home. I really miss that pretty face of yours. Isn't there some post engagement honeymoon a couple can go on before the wedding. If there isn't then I just made one and we are going..Ok.. Love you baby."

6:45 pm'Khurana Constructions

Geet finally made it back to Khurana Constructions after dealing with the Nioda issue. She couldn't wait to get home with Maan and spend some quality time with everyone. She walked to her desk and was about to open the blinders to check Maan's cabin when she noticed an envelope on her desk. And it was addressed to Geet Handa. She read : from the one who knows you. She smiled as she thought of maan and yet another sweet gesture from him. She took out the letter and read:

Dear Geet, the most beautiful girl I know ( Geet smiled as she remembered the roses and note addressed the same way)

I want you to know that I fell in love with you from the first moment I saw you.( Geet arched her eyebrows and thought: really now? She thought back to the time they had meet in HP and their countless fights) You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Everything about you goes beyond perfection. Your big hazel eyes: i could stare into them all day. Your pretty pecky nose: I would love to kiss it right now. And rosy cheeks: I would love to run my fingers along them. And your pink soft lips: kissing them would be the greatest pleasure of my life. ( she blushed as she thought back to the time they had almost kissed the other day).You have captured my heart and now this heart only belongs to you and will always belong to you. I love you Geet Handa and I can't wait to make you mine.

She sighed with a happiness in her heart when she finished his letter. She hugged it, her lover wrote her this letter and she was going to cherish it forever.

Just then the cabin phone rang and she knew it was maan

"Hello maan", she said lovingly. "Did you like the letter Geet ?" Asked a deep voice which did not belong to the man she loved. She became scared and sat up straighter in her chair and asked, "who are you? Why are you bothering me?"

"I am the one who knows you. Til next time geet handa. Have patience, you will meet me very soon." "Listen to me--- but she heard the click at the other end and knew he hang up. She slammed the receiver down in sheer frustration and put her head down. She felt hot tears running down her cheeks. The words that earlier gave her pleasure and happiness now disgusted her insides.

She suddenly thought of maan and rushed to find the safety of his arms but she couldn't find him. No one knew where he had gone not even her. She slumped back in her chair, let silent tears run and worried about this new misery. She was sure it was the same person calling too.
