SR ff Partners forever sequel note on page 34 - Page 11

Hey guies I am on a early christams break so will try to give a back to back update making up for all the time u guies have patiently waited, however please bare with my creativity because at the moment I am running out of ideas. i kind of gave my 100% to first ff so yh I am assembling things from here and there to get this one proper so pls don't expect anything exceptional..cherrs

Now the ff begins 😆

The next was Monday , sid,tam & rids resumed back to their normal duties. In the afternoon sid called rids and tam into his room to pass on the information that 2 new interns were joining them.It was pretty long day for the three docts, Tam finished @ 4 and sid and rids were scheduled to finish @ 5.Sid got done and was walking down the stairs into through the corridor towards the main reception.

Sid ( in his mind as he is walking ): finally an end to another long day, doctors indeed have a hectic schedule…( its suddenly strikes his brain)…( loudly)arghh! The car is @ the mechanic's lol was so absorbed in work that I even forgot such facts, umm what should I do now…well! Might as well go out and get a taxi

Just when he was gonna walk through the double doors, ridhima taps him from behind

Sid:ooh ii

Rids:hi

Sid: are u done ?

Rids: yh aur tum ?

Sid: ha

Rids: u going home I guess?

Sid: yh

Rids: fine , lets walk to the parking then

Saying this she starts to make a move

Sid opens his mouth

Sid: ( ruffles through his hair ) voh my car is at the mechanic's so gotta take a cab home

Rids: I will drop u

Sid: pls don't bother, it will be inconvenient for u, to drive around plus there might be people @ home waiting 4 u

Rids: ( rids face over comes with sadness but she quickly hides her expressions) no its not a problem at all I can always drive u .

She convinces him and they make a move together out of the hospital. They get outside the building, suddenly a car stops in front of them and a what seems like a figure of a small boy comes out.It was rahul.seeing his son sid's face lights up and rids is smiling too

Sid: rahul ape yaha kaise

Rahul: voh driver ne bathaya ki apki ghadi mechanic ke pass hai so ve came to get you…

Sid picks rahul in his arms,

Sid: acha thoo mera beta ithna samjdar ho gaya hai

Rids smiles at the father son talks

Rahul: hi ridhima aunty

Ridhima: how are u rahul

R : I m fine aunty how r u ?

Rids: good beta, hows school going ?

Rahul: fine aunty

Aunty come with us,

Sid smiles @ rids

Rids: not 2dai beta its been a long day 4 me and I am on early tomorrow so need to sleep

R: but aunty

Sid: beta aunty is tired and she has things to get done so let her get on with it ..

Rids: sorry betaaa, I will come some other time

Rahul: its k aunty u can always join use some other time ( he smiles at ridhima)

Sid : abe chale ( lifts his eyebrows)

Rahul:okay

Sid: say bye to dr ridhima

Rahul : byee

Sid: acha hum chalthe hai Dr ridhima …

Sid smiles at dr ridhima, she smiles back

Rids : sid! Btw tum muje ridhima bhula sakthe ho we are off duty hours

Sid: ummm! Dr ridhima suits u more,( he winks)... bye

Rids is confused

Sid sits inside the car and waves at her so does rahul.she waves back too

Sid : dr ridima to ridhima was a long journey in the past which took us 9 months..but the reverse journey has taken me 7years and I don't wanna go back ..( in a sad tone)

Sid was in his bedroom late that night on his rocking chair reading some medical journel, he had been reading it for a long time and his mind drifts away to sleep.

Next day morning,

St Paul's hospital : 4 new interns have arrived and are waiting at the nurses station along with rids and tam for sid to arrive and brief them.

1^st intern ( dr Aditya )

A young doc in his 5^th year a pretty dynamic and good looking dude who has the efficiency to attract most of the women .Heirs from a middle class family and aspires to be highly successful

2^nd intern ( dr simran)

A very young, sweet and soft spoken traditional girl, heirs from a middle class muslim family and lives to make everyone around happy.

3^rd intern ( dr sameer)

Another young chap! Very vibrant has a good sense of humour, quite laid back about life and has no fixed mottos but has the highest academic achievements in his year .

4^th intern ( dr neha)

A filthy rich NRI doc from Canada, has a passion to help people, very chatty , good looking , straight spoken and has decided to do 2months of her internship in India to learn more about her ancestors land.

Them 4 have already met and have interacted with each other before hand, all are anticipating for the arrival of their senior doc, Sid.

A tall masculine figure walks down the corridor, all the interns and tam, rids gaze at him.His well ironed shirt clearely showing traces of his well built boy, he has a clean shave and slide his glasses up his nose as he walks down.He is wearing his lab coat and has his seth worn around his neck .

Neha ( softly to her other interns ): this guy is hot!!

Ridhima hears it

Neha looks down in sheer disappointment and ridhima Sid reaches to the NS and looks up at everyone

May I now ask my collegue dr tamana to take over

Tam: morning interns today is ur first day at st pauls, this is the minute that every medical undergrade waits for the time when he/she has hands on experience on things, so guies he ithas arrives..tam talks about st pauls and their policies… and finally u guies will be under me and dr ridhima.But the over all supervision will also be under Dr modi who is also the chief cardio consultant.Although you guies are mainly in our department but u will be shuffled around in all departments.and we explect you to make the most out of out you time here in st pauls.right now guies duties:

Dr sameer & neha –will be with Dr ridhima in the cardio general ward..

Dr simi and dr adi _ will be with me in the crdio emergency

Neha puts her hand u in air

Sid, tam and rids look up at neha

Tam: yes neha

Neha: my question is for dr modi

Sid: go on

Neha: are you the same dr sidharnt modi as the one who works in st paul's London…..

Sid: yessss I am the same one, anything else

Neha (smiles): nooo

The interns are left on their own, ridhima receives her file and starts glancing through , while interns start their convo, its quite audible and rids can clearly hear whatever they say

Neha : omg!! I can't believe I am working with Dr sidhanth modiiii, the most eligible and successful bachelor doctor

Rids : bachelor in a confused tone ( sid is a bachelor essa kaise ho saktha hai ?)

Neha: man he is sooo fit I have fallen for him already :)

Rids sounds a bit concern

Rids: guies its nearly time will u resume with ur duty pls ?

Interns together: yess mam !!

They start walking away from rids

Neha : hayeee! Dr sidhanth modii J I am in love with u

Sam: chal abhi varna pehle he din band baj jayega, aur suna hai kid r rihima kafi strict bhi hai

Neha : sure!!!( rolls her eye )

wlks away from rids towards the crriodor from where they are ment to disperse …

The whole day just passes by in the night rids is In her bedroom thinking about the events that had happened earlier In the day,she gets a call on her phone, it was anjie rids picks it up and answers it..

Rids: Hi dee

Anjie: hi, kaisi ho?

Rids: mai theek hu, ape kaise ho ?

Anjie : mai bhi theek

Rids: how is atul and simi

Anji they are good too

Rids so how is work goin ?

Anjie: its k atm , hows your work going ?

Rids: its k , dee we have a new set of interns to look after , they joined today

Anjie: aha,…ummm aur how is sid ?

Rids: he is good too but dee muje ek intern se patha chala ki that he is single..

Anie : kya usne shadhi nahi kee ?

Rids: ovbviously shadhi kee hai tabhi thoo uska ek beta bhi hai

Anie: I find it a bit weird though, simi ne batay ki rahul is in her standard but in a different division,which means rahul is 7 , he is of the same age as simi isn't that weird…

Rids: it all seem quite weird but I have seen rahul and sid's bonding they bond too well..

Anjie: vaise how come ur intern knows that he is single atm although whatever his past was

Rids: well I don't know how but my gut feeing is that the girl has a huge crush on sid..more about it is yet to be found out though just a feeling….

Anjie : but if he is single….hmmm

Rids: if he is single …then wot ?

Anji: may be u could consider him, I am sure u will be better for him than that intern lol

Rids: dee stop it I don't think I will be able to walk on that line again moreover it seems he doesn't have those feeling anymore..i just don't wanna consider another relationship

Anjie:: weellll I won't insist u but doo consider it while the ball is in ur court

Rids: trust me dee no ball is in court, lets forget about it …

Anjie : anyway dude its all ur call just remember that I am gonna hang up now , on an early shift tomorrow so gotta go sleep now

Rids: sure dee…ge nyt love u

Anjie: love u too and do consider what I told u…

3 days pass and the enters are getting know more of each other and their seior docts

Conversation at a lunch break

Adi: yarrr yeh dr ridhima is a hitler, she is dead strict I was late by 2 mins the other day and she screamed at me

Simi: I like all the docts they all are so sweet

Sam: I like all the doctslekin meri type ki yaha koyi nahi hai

Neha: haye! Dr sid se kabbath hogi I havn't seen him at all

Simi: aree yarr he is the senior doctor

Adi: are laloo tumhe koyi aur nahi mila lya bus vahi

Neha: there is something much special about him, tum ne kabhi notice kiya he not like other senior doctors very soft and sweet

Simi: voh toh hai: very down to earth too I never knew this guy was so qualified until yesterday when I read his educational profile in the records..

Neha: he is over qualified for his job, has a passion for medicine and above all a daring handsome bachelor doctor

Adi: lekin uska beta hai

Neha : that doesn't matter I am fine with it,

Sam: isko koy samjavoo, yaha par marriage buro nahi chal reha hai, neha he is ur senior doct its unprofessional..

Neha: this is nothing like a crush and u will get to know more of it…

neha: this is love

adi looks at his watch: lets go time ho gaya hai

neha:tum log javo I need to go wash room and I will join u soon

Neha leaves for washroom, on her way she catches Sid standing at the nurses station and discussing a case with a doctor. She stops and move to a corner from where she can glance at him. She gets so absorbed in looking at him that she looses track of time.After a while she is still quite immersed in looking at him, when she some one taps on her shoulder she shoves the hand of, it was Dr ridhima, she has her hands folded and was watching her glance at sid…she taps neha gain

Neha: are yarr kya hai she turns around and finds her

In horror she looks at rids face

Neha ( in her mind) : mai thoo gayi

Rids: (boldy) : kya ape janthi hai ki u are running late for your duty

Neha looks down while rids tells her off, she has a long session of nice bollocking, she sees sid walk past and he hears what was going on but doesn't pay much attention

Neha (in her mind ): ooh! Noo Dr sid bhi agaye aje thoo mere izath ka bartha bangaya

Don't know abe mera kya impression bana hoga dr sid ke samne..shit!

Rids finishes telling her off and asks her to leave. Meanwhile sid was waiting in one corner for her, he was constantly watching her without her being aware,she turns around and finds sid behind

Sid: so purani hitler Dr ridhima fir se bane gayi, ape dr ridhima

Rid( opens her mouth and then laughs ): lol kya karu time to time change hona padha hai

Btw y were u waiting for me?

Sid: I just had to give you this file its quite and important one, pls we have a new project coming apparently we need to work on it together along with neha the new intern don't ask me anything its all from the senior leadership…

Rids: neha! Omg! I just told her off

Sid: saw that >>why was that 4 ?

Rids: she was running late 4 her duty

Sid: oo! Yeh sabe thoo chaltha rehtha hai dw,

Rid: don't judge the book by the cover

Sid: I am not but I cannot completely ignore her records either and other things …

Rids: but

Sid: lol lets forget this matter for now…I have got to go got an important case coming up , need to goo.

Rids: cya

Sid: see ya, he walks away and rids starts in the opposite direction too

Sid: acha ladies I will see you later

Rids: umm…tam I wanted to talk to you about something

Tam: ha kahooo

Rids: ummm…I don't know how to start …tam at any point if you feel its inappropriate don't hesitate to interrupt.

Tam looks up at rids sceptically

Tam: ha bolo

Rids: ummm voh atul ne bataya ki u and sid were in a relationship while u were doing your internship.

Tam: lol she burts out laughing: o! so this is what u wanted to ask

Rids looks at her confusingly

Tam: the sid u see today is not the sid that was in the past, the old sid was quite laid back, quite aimless in life, we started our internship together in sanjeevani where I guess u have worked too, initially we never use to get along but slowly fell for each other, but sid wasn't acceptable to my parents as they thought of him as a spoilt bart. I did like him or rather love him but did not wanted to hurt my parents either so had to choose them over sid..They found me this nice guy and fixed my engagement with him and sid being the old immature sid tried everything to break that but the when the guy heard from me that I was no more interested in him, gave away his liking for my sake if hadn't given away then today life would have taken a completely different turn ( at that point rids in her mind: true if that would have happened life would have taken a completely different turn for him and for me, may be we wouldn't have either stood where we stand today ') and perhaps today u would have seen me with him together…

Rids: life is not always what we want it to be and neither do we have a choice to leave what is less pleasing.It just comes and we take it…well does that mean given a second opportunity u will take it ?

Tam: ahm ahm ! y are u so curious kahi essa thoo nahi hai ki u have a crush on him, just like rest of the hospital ? ( in a sarcastic tone)😉

Rids looks away: nahii y will I have a crush on him😲

Tam: I was only kidding, hmm back to your question I don't think I will ever have that second choice because that was the old immature sid he has forgotten his past he fell in true love with his wife and she had been everything for him ever since I have left, he has changed himself from a Romeo to a practical guy , who changes according to circumstances and moreover in his case his wife changed him, she was a responsibility which latter became his life and today he is a completely different person.but he is a nice chap though good enough to be a good hubby for any girl and moreover he puts others happiness ahead of his happiness, he could have got me long ago because I knew if he turned into a crazy lover doing all sorts of things I would have even given away but fortunately he never did that because he thinks love and respect are two things that needs to be earned rather than to be forcefully had…

Meanwhile they reach their floor and the doors of the lift open and the ladies walk out. as they walk along the corridor the conversation continues

Tam: today we are only good friends and even better colleagues. batho bathoo mai patha he nahi chala kabe lab aaa gaya , I need to go kuch urgent tests karne hai

Rids( smiles): sure I wil catch u later

Tam: cya

Rids: byes

Rids stands there on the corridor leading into the lab, it was the top most part of the hospital and it was staff only so this part of the hospital was more silent and free from rush.

Rids goes to a corner and looks outside the window…

Rids: Sid never told me all this when I was with him, about his relationship with tam nothing. He has moved on from his past a long time ago unlike me who completely let him down.
