Temporary

Armaan was in his office with the frown on his face. He was really getting annoyed now. Ajit was busy in preparations of arranging temporary PA for Armaan and here he was getting annoyed with the numerous calls, it was getting difficult for him to manage meeting etc. Till now Ajit was handling it but still he was kind of busy so Armaan have to manage some things on his own.

Ridhimaa was reading the news paper and an advertisement caught her attention. It was actually looking good for her. She was getting bored at house so; this job was a good opportunity for her and was perfect for her. But she couldn't really apply as her father would never allow her to work outside. How could he allow? He was Sheshank Gupta, owner of one of the most successful Law Farm in the country man. How could he allow his daughter to work outside, under someone else? But still it looked really good so she decided to give it a try.

"Papa"

"Hey my little angle how was your day?"

"Very boring"

"Haan? boring why?"

"Come on papa mom was busy with some aunties and I was all alone"

"Ooo"

"Papa aap baithiye naa main aapke liye pani lati hoon''"

"Yeh lijiye papa" Ridhimaa handled him the glass of water.

"Thanks"

"Papa aap kuch lenge chai coffee"

"Arre nahi abhi nahi, lekin kya baat hai aaj hamari bohot katir dari ho rahi hai?"

"Oh come on papa aisa kuch nahi hai"

"Thik hai tum kehti ho to maan leta hoon"

After few minutes gathering some courage Ridhimaa asked "papa"

"Hmm"

"Wo... papa main soch rahi thi ki abhi main gher pe hoon bhaiya ki shadi ke baad jyada kaam bhi nahi hai toh ager main job karu to?"

"Job???" said Sheshank cutting her in between.

"Haan papa wo aaj maine paper main ad dekha toh maine soch main aaply kar loon ager aap kahe toh'?"

"Ridhimaa yeh tum kya keh rahi ho? meri beti Sheshank Gupta ki beti kisi aur ki company me naukari kargi. Arre hamari khud ki Farm hai tum wahaan kaam karo as a boss kisi aur ke yahaan kaam karne ka kya matlab hai"

"Papa aap samajh nahi rahe main khud kuch karna chahti hoon please papa sirf do mahine ki toh baat hai"

"Do mahine?" asked Sheshank confused.

"Haan phir toh main wapas chali jaoungi na"

"Wapus kahaan?"

"Papa shimla aur kahaan"

"Ridhima ab tumhe wahaan kyon jana hai tumhari padhai bhi puri ho chuki hai toh'"

"Papa please hum is bare main bohot bar baat kar chuke hain" said Ridhimaa seriously continuing "papa main yahaan nahi reh sakti, yaa yeh kahoon nahi rahana chati"

"But bete"

"Papa please don't force me"

*sigh* "accha kyon si company hai"

"AM enterprises" said Ridhimaa hopefully.

"AM interprizes"

"Yes papa wahaan ke MD ko ek temporary PA ki jaroorat hai"

"Really that's good, tum thik keh rahi thi waIse bhi khud ka experience bhi important hota hai tum jaroor apply karo I'm sure job tumhe hi milegi"

Patting her head he left from there smiling. She didn't understand this sudden change of behavior of her father, first of all he was not at all ready and now all of sudden he was happy. She smiled and went to her room happily as tomorrow was a big day. There was interview next day.

Next day

"Oh god sab mere saath hi kyon hota hai is duffer gadi ko bhi aaj hi kharab hona tha, oh god ab main kya karu yeh transport strike bhi aaj hi honi thi ab toh main interview ke liye late ho jaoungi" she was busy in her cursing session when'

"Hey basanti" she froze and turned slowly wishing he was not there. She found him standing near his car, with a big smile on his face.

"Oh no" escaped from her mouth.

"Hey kya hua? lagta hai tumhari dhanno bigad gayi hai.. kaho to main drop doon?"

"No thanks tum bas mujhe akela chod do" said Ridhimaa greeting her teeth. It was always like this she never understood why she feels so angry whenever he is around...

"O-o cool it basanti subah subah breakfast main mirchi khai thi? kitana bhadkati ho"

"Shut up Armaan"

"Finally I was waiting ki kab tum aapna favorite dailoge bologi 'shut up Armaan" Armaan mimicked to which her nose flared with anger, she was getting all red due to the anger.

"Aaarhhh dekho mere paas tumhari bakwas sunne ka waqt nahi hai samjhe ek toh waise hi late ho rahi hoon aur"

"Wahi toh main keh raha hoon ki main bhi bohot late ho raha hoon" said Armaan cutting her in between.

"Really toh jaate kyon nahi kyon mera sir kha rahe ho"

"Kaisi baate kar rahi ho tum main tumhe yahaan akele chodker kaise jaa sakta hoon. Afterall tum Rahul ki behan ho aur waise bhi aaj transport ki strike hai aur tumhe to koi lift dene se raha toh'"

"What? *pause* what do you mean mujhe koi lift nahi dega?"

"Look ab har koi mujh jaisa dare devil toh nahi ho sakta na jo khatra apne saath lekar chale. Aur tum, you are toh killer. I mean just look at you aise look de rahi ho jaise kha jaogi mujhe'"

She was really angry now every time he annoys her, first of all her stupid car broke then the transport strike and the bonus package Mr. Annoying Mallik.

She heard her beeping mobile, it was 9.10 now she had just 20 minute now to reach her destination. She nervously looked here and there for some help but it was all useless. Armaan, who was waiting for her reply tried again to pursue her'

"Dekho yahaan tumhe lift nahi milagi so be a good girl aur gadi me baith jao main tumhe kha nahi jaounga"

"fine" she turned to his car stomping her foot but stopped "ek minute"

"Ab kya hua basanti?"

"Aarh main *sigh* leave it meri ek shart hai"

"Wow tumhari shart bhi hai waise honi bhi chahiye after all tum meri car me baith ker mujh per kitana bada favor kar rahi ho naa" To which she glared at him.

"Ok ok fine bolo tumhari shart"

"Tum apna mu band rakhoge warna"

"Warna tum gadi se khud jaoungi yahi naa?" completed Armaan.

Ridhimaa smiled widely and said in most sugary tone "nahi main tumhe dhakka de dungi"

"Huh! You are kidding right?" he asked smiling to which she raised her eyebrows wiping off that smile from his face.

"Ok" agreed Armaan in low defeated voice.

They both sat in the car and zoomed off.

In car, Ridhimaa was quite. There was a dead silence Armaan was all quite too. Ridhimaa was now annoyed. he was all quite doing just nothing but god knows why he was looking toward her in every 2 seconds. Again he looked toward her and when she looked at him, he averted his gaze'

"Kya hai Armaan yeh baar baar kya dekh rahe ho kabhi mujhe dekha nahi?" she blasted off to which he nodded his head in no then yes.

"Oh god to tumhari problem kya hai?" he again shook his head.

"Tum gunge ho bol nahi sakte thodi der pehle to itna bak bak kar rahe the toh ab kya hua?"

"wo' tum" he started nervously "woh tumne kaha tha na ki tum mujhe dhakka de dongi toh"

"Huh? Tum' oh god plz please bolo tumhe kya bolana hain lekin mujhe ghoorana band karo ab"

*silence*

"Ab bologe bhi ya nahi?"

"No actually main soch raha tha ki main tumhe office le jaaker kya karronga to mere ghar chalte hain" he blabbered in one breath.

"What?" she asked shocked.

"Haan main pichle 15 minute se drive kar raha hoon aur tumne ab tak mujhe nahi bataya ki tumhe kahaan jaana hai toh maine socha'"

Ridhimaa was embarrassed now "A' wo sorry' wo mujhe AM ENTERPRIZES jaana hai"

"What AM ENTERPRIZES kyon???" asked Armaan stopping the car.

"Aah kya hua? tumne gadi kyon raki???"

"Tum pehle batao wahaan kyon ja rahi ho?"

"Tumse matlab dekho mujhe der ho rahi hai mujhe aur pareshan mat karo plzzz"

"Ek minute kahiin tum kisi nari sansthan se to nahi ho naa waise lagti toh ho' wait wait wait tum jaroor reporter ho sting operation and all haan?"Armaan was blabbering all the various notions coming in his mind "oh god don't tell me tum terrorist gang se ho aur office ko blast karne jaa rahi ho you know wo kya kahte hai, yes suicide bomber"

"Ohhh shut up Armaan main wahaan interview ke liye jaa rahi hoon" ridhimaa screamed getting annoyed with his stupid ideas.

"Oh interview bas itni si baat itna chillane ki kya baat hai tum ye pehle bhi bata sakti thi" he remarked casually.

"Kyun ab bataya toh nahi sunoge"

"Sununga na sab kuch sunuga tum kahkar to dekho" he said seriously stopping the car. she looked at him and they both kept starring into each other's eyes there was something in his eyes something different which was scaring her Armaan broke there little eye lock session "Hey tumhari manzil aa gayi'

She looked outside; there was a huge lavish building with the board of AM enterprises. She got out of car and made her way towards building.

"Ridhimaa" he called after her and she turned to him.

"Yeh job tumhe hi milegi trust me" he said smiling sweetly and with that drove away. She stopped still there looking toward his retreating car. She didn't understand his behavior at all, first of all he was annoying her, irritating her with his stupid blabbering and suddenly became all serious and sweet. She just shook her head and moved inside the building.
