Geet: Oh right, well...........ooo theres one thing I have to tell you guys....omg omg omg *as Geet's face suddenly grew brighter with excitement as did Pinky's* Well....ok.......it's not HUGE news, but it's still BIG news.....hahaha not completely confirmed but as you would know that has never stopped me from anthing....ok basically the thing is.......welll I wanted to let you guys know way way before but then we all got so busy with stuff and then I thought I'd tell you on Monday after getting confirmation but but but since you've asked and since you guys know everything about me....i just can't stop myself from telling you this......that....

Geet was startled to a stop as she turned to look over her shoulder to see Sasha who stood there looking at her with killer looks and her arms crossed over her chest.

What the fh-lip is SHE doing here and what the heck is she talking about?? Know what? Who? What? How? W.H.A.T?????? Geet was getting more and more confused and the fact that Pari, Meera and Sasha were just looking at her with a we-want-answers-from-you-because-we-know-something-you-do-not! was making her more apprehensive about what this......... "they already know" was all about.

Geet looked towards each individually and after getting no inclination about what they were so seriously looking at her for, her impatience just grew even greater. Pinky broke the silence

Pinky: What are you doing here Sasha? And what are you talking about? Who already knows what?

Geet breathed a sigh of relief thanking her babaji for having Pinky voice her thoughts, otherwise with the daunting stares she was getting she would be lucky to get a word out clearly.

Sasha who by now could have easily pierced through Geet with her intense looks, looked over to Pinky who by this time has stood up and placed a hand over Geet's shoulder to make her feel comforted. Sasha smirked -such friendship...such trust...such bonding -MY FOOT -these girls have no idea what is coming in store for them....soon this friendship of theirs is going to break to pieces...haha if only Geet...tsh tsh Geet.....if only you hadn't been too foolish...........too foolish to discuss your personal life with your stupid friend -that too infront of me.............tut tut.......

Geet who by now had regained some courage and overcome her rude interruption spoke up: SASHA!!!!! *she shook her by her shoulder* Earth to Sasha....

Sasha: What Geet?? I can hear you, I'm not deaf....stop shaking me!!! *evidently irritated by Geet's attempts to get her out of her evil daze*

Geet: erm...ok......now...you were saying........

Sasha: Hmmm yea.....THEY *pointing towards Pari and Meera* know...everything.......that you were trying to complicate with all your useless talks..........so don't deny it Geet -they know

Geet: They know?? But how? I mean...who told them *As she looked towards Pinky who shrugged clueless* and how do you know that they know.....woah woah that thoughts hurting my head...

Sasha: Oh come on Geet, stop acting so innocent....did you think that if you didn't tell, that they wouldn't find out -well tough love because I saved you the trouble and did it for you.....and you can save your thanks because I didn't do it for you..........*turning towards Pari and a slightly upset Meera with fake sympathy* I did it for these little cute pretty girls who trusted you Geet.........they thought so high of you, they believed you would never hide such a thing from them...but you.....what did you do.......you hid it from them...........ON PURPOSE!!! Pinky: OH SHUT UP SASHA!!!!!! Gosh how much can you speak????? What rubbish are you on about?? What are you upto now?? Argh.....Pari...Meera -let me tell you...do not believe a word this girl says....you know Geet na...you know she would never do such a thing.........and plus you know how busy everything has been right and she was telling you just now -right.....so how can you think she was hiding something....yea......and plus it isn't even a big issue -don't know why she's making it an issue *giving Sasha a disgusted look and then looking at Pari and Meera giving a slight nod and smile hoping they would understand and trying to catch their reaction to this all*

Geet: No wait Pinky.........I have a feeling this isn't about what we think........Sasha.......am I right in believing this is not about the Wat Tyler trip?? *as she raised an eyebrow hoping her suspicion was wrong*

Meera: Wat Tyler??!?!?!?!?! No Di....this is about...

Sasha: MAAN! This is about Maan, Geet......stop trying to change the topic

Geet: Maan? What why would I change the topic? And how do you know about Maan? Wait.........what do you know about him? *as Geet took a step towards Sasha –ready to strangle her for trying to create misunderstandings*

Sasha: oh oh oh Geet...now now.......easy......I simply said what was true.........and shocked that I know...well I heard each and everything that you and Pinky were talking about! Yes Geet, I heard everything you two were saying and you cannot deny the fact that you like Maan!!!!

Geet and Pinky were shocked.......Pinky looked towards Meera and Pari, they nodded their heads in positive confirming that they too were wanting to talk about this. Pinky froze and looked back at Sasha and then Geet who seemed to have been stung by a snake.

Geet: but....but...we.....

Sasha: Oh cut it out Geet........just tell me one thing......is it true or not...were you not talking about Maan earlier on...hmm?? Pinky you tell me.....was Geet not talking about Maan today with you..hmm?? *Sasha looked over Geet's shoulder to Pinky, as did Pari and Meera. Pinky looked back at Geet and hung her head and looked down* Ohhh seems like cat got your tongue huh? Come on Geet...you're not one to stay quiet....what happened?? Truth hurts? Or the fact that someone else got to it before you did......or the fact that the truth you were intending to hide is now in the open -hmm Geet tell us....we're waiting....yes or no......were you or were you not talking about Maan earlier on........hmmm come on Geet speak up.....did you not say that you like Maan??

"YES!!!" Geet's patience was now taken over.....she could not stand Sasha a second longer.....she had spoilt everything!!! Her and her big gob had spoiled everything for Geet.....she wanted to keep this as secret for a bit longer and wait for the right time before telling Meera and Pari. She looked over at them, the shock was evident on their faces -they had not expected this.....in a way Geet was happy to know that her two angels wouldn't ever believe what anyone said about their Di -no matter what they said or who it was...they trusted her only.........but Geet had just broken that trust now......by saying Yes........Geet could see Meera was hurt the most...she didn't want things to turn out like this...she had planned things out in a much pleasant way....but Sasha's constant questions were slowing getting to her and she blurted out Yes – ohhh.........babaji tusi koi rasta dikhavo.........main ki karaan.....?

Geet looked over at Sasha, she had a smirk on her face -ergh if only I could punch her in the face and then she'll know never to interfere in anyone's business!

Sasha: Anyways.....I think I'm not needed now....since the truth is finally out........so I shall get going...I have better things to be doing........bye......G..E..E..T *and walked off giving a wink to Geet and a flying kiss – patronizing Geet further*

Pinky: Ok it's not as it seems........Pari, Meera listen to me.....don't go on any word that Sasha has said.....I'll tell you the truth........your Di never wanted to hide anything...she just wanted to give you a surp.........

Pari: It's ok Pinks....chill......we never believed her anyway........*looking towards Geet, who seemed to have lost everything......*

So .....Di......it's true haan?? *smiling towards Geet- to cheer her a little*

Geet smiled a little and nodded,the truth was out now, so there was no point in being gloomy over Sasha's actions – what's done was done....... Pari just came over to her and hugged her....Geet was not expecting this but hugged her back feeling a little anxious.

Geet: You're not angry?

Pari: Of course not Di.........it's kool.........I know you wanted to surprise us...but hey.....there's always other surprises in the world to do.......haina -ok now smile!!! *Geet smiled and hugged her again – feeling a lot better now- not forgetting to send her thank you to babaji*

Meera on the other hand hadn't quite gotten over the confession......she didn't know what to do or say. She wasn't angry...or mad.....neither was she happy nor overjoyed (as Pari seemed to be). This was something strange............she needed to talk to Geet, but this moment didn't seem right........she needed to think this through first........she knew her Di very well...she would never hide such a thing....unless...ofcourse she had a reason....but what reason?.....hmmm no I'll have to talk to her later.......perhaps by then I'll be able to figure out what's going on in my mind too.

Meera: Erm.......exc.....excuse me guys.....erm.......Pari I'll meet you outside......I need to go to the toilet... and need some fresh air.......bye Pinky Di........bye G....g..Geet Di *as she forced a smile and made a dash for the doors before one of them stopped her – bumping into Dev who was just leaving through the doors too...they looked at each other for a while..........Meera saw it in his eyes........he knew......he'd heard it all.....he'd been here all this time.......he knew.......oh god- before she completely lost it – she ran straight to the Ladies*

Geet: Isse kya hua?? I think....she's quite angry na?

PAri: Uffo.......Di relax.....I'm sure she's fine....don't worry I'll talk to her.......*seeing no effect on Geet* Di I'm her best friend -relax!!! Nothing is wrong.........trust me I'll talk to her she'll be fine!!! Honest *seeing Geet getting a little convinced.....she let out a smile and tried diverting her attention away from Meera*

Pari: So Di, tell me.............do you find him.....good-looking??

Geet: *let out a little giggle* Good Looking?? Pari he is absolutely Cute...and adorable......and the BEST!!!!! *Geet said as her smile widened and her happiness took over her apprehensions*

Pari: hmmm......tell me more.....

Geet: Well, he's awesome, funny, cute -wait I said that already, erm............lively, has the most beautiful smile and his eyes -hai...........soooooooooooooooo innocent yaar....omg omg omg...........you don't know how happy I am....that you're not angry – oh my my......Pari you don't know how happy you have made me................I just hope Meera too....

Pari: *sensed her worry for Meera and diverted her again* Oh ho......hmmmm so you like him haan?? *winking at Geet*

Geet: No – of course not!!!

Pari's face dropped.....she was not expecting this.......she asked Geet again

Pari: Di...but just now...you said..........so.....you don't like him??

Geet: No.....Pari.......I don't......

Pari: but.......ohhhhh *Pari looks down dishearted and confused*

Geet: because..........I LOVE HIM!!!!! *smiling widely*

Pari's head jerked up in an instant and she too had the widest smile on her face as she and Geet shared a huge hug, with Pinky joining them too.

Geet was happy........she had understanding friends and was glad that a lowlife like Sasha could never come between them -now it was just Meera to go and see to.......babaji...please......iss baar bhi help karna............you know na Meera tohri sensitive hai......pata nai woh kaise yeh sab handle karegi -aap ko toh pata hai na -maine issilye sab ko baad main bataane ka faisla liya tha....uffoooo yea sasha bhi na -jahan kahin uski zaroorat na ho vahi tapak jaati hai -arghhhhh babaji...........tusi unnoo koi akal do na!!!!!

Present:

Geet was lost in her sochs of yesteryears when her thoughts were interrupted by the constant ringing of her phone. At first she chose to ignore it -it was on automatic answering machine so whoever it was would be akalmaand enough to leave a message -she would get back to them later on -right now, having gone down memory lane had brought up old thoughts, pains, joys, - it wasn't the greatest of ideas to be answering the phone -in case her emotions go the better of her and broke down and that was something Geet Handa was not prepared for......

Needless to say the phone was just not going to stop ringing, Geet was getting annoyed and decided to go down and get herself some fresh air and pick up a can of cola while she was at it. She made her way to the door and heard the answering machine relay her message:

AM: Hello, You have now reached the private voicemail for Miss Geet Handa – I'm sorry I don't seem to be around to take your call – but worry not, leave a short message with your name and number and i'll get back to you soon. If its urgent then you can try and contact me on my house landline number by pressing the hash button after the tone. Thanks

Phone: ......ermm

Geet froze at the first step on the first floor landing........until now she had been the least bit bothered over who it must be.........but...... -the voice sounded soo familiar....

Phone: He...hel...hello... Ge...eet

Geet instantly ran into her room jumping over her bed and picked up the phone, not believing her ears
