Kabir and Lexie were enthralled in their own private moment they's zoned out on the others completely. Lexie felt alive again which was a new sensation for her. was this how it felt to be with someone you loved? She didn't even know what love really felt like. The last time she thought she was in love ripped her heart out. In time she'd learnt it was never love just a mirage she'd generated to keep her busy and divert her attention of her growing powers she'd struggled so much to accept in her life. It brought her nothing but trouble until recently. Abhay had aided her and the others to tame the magic they'd inherited from their ancestors. Now Lexie had accepted this power which could turn any sane person turn to the dark side if they weren't ready. With Kabir it felt so real it gave her butterflies in her tummy. He excited her and frightened her at the same time. Lexie didn't need to read Kabir's mind to know how he felt. His face gave her all the indication she needed. He was a welcome change in her life. He brought her to a standstill which was a compliment in itself but Lexie wasn't going to let Kabir know about this until much later on. She didn't want to balloon his ego anymore than it was already inflated she'd joked to herself. No Kabir was a grounded person with his moral compass firmly tuned in to the right side. He was a good guy and they were few of them around. Lexie was pleased she'd taken a chance on Kabir. She'd only wished she would have taken a chance on him sooner. Misha played a hand in uniting them all and the venue rocked. It wasn't the ideal place for a date but safety in numbers what the doctors ordered and that was what she got. Lexie could hear what Kabir was asking her about how she was finding the night? But she knew he couldn't hear her. she wasn't going to freak him out by using her mojo. It was too early for all the revelations.

Kabir had felt all his wishes were all granted from someone above. He was in the good grace of the lord above. He thanked his lucky stars the night went off without a hitch. No third wheel around to interrupt their date. He just wanted to take Lexie somewhere alone. He wanted it to be just her and him together and block out the crowd. It was so loud in here he could barely hear anything Lexie was saying. He couldn't even hear what he was saying forget what Lexie was saying. Kabir searched the area they were in around. Hey they's separated from the rest of their posse that was a plus. At least he wasn't in the company of Lux or Abhay now that would have been a little uncomfortable. He was a little more relaxed now. Getting into the spirit of rocking out with Lexie. She was a party animal alright and she was hot in her own right. She had her own style he liked that and she was honest. All Kabir saw was Lexie and her dimples. It was as if cupids arrows had pierced his heart and it was stuck. He didn't thnk life could get any better than this. This night was the best night of his life with her in his arms. She fit just right and the stars above twinkling away gave the night more of a magical feeling. If this was a dream he didn't want to wake up. How did he get so lucky Kabir thought! Did Lexie feel as strongly about him as he did her? only time will tell but for now he was just enjoying he moment.

Misha held Lux's hand which was out of character for her but he seemed a little hesitant. Hey she didn't blame him. she was a handful at times. She'd be the first to admit it. Misha felt giddy inside. Well now she regretted being in a crowd filled with strange people. It wasn't even like a date but Lux's eyes gave way to how she was feeling. Very mushy and soft like a marshmallow. It was very alien to her but Lux made her feel so well girly. It wasn't a bad thing but she wasn't used to feeling this way. She daren't admit this but it felt good to care for another person in more of a friend way. Lux was definitely more than a friend. His touch gave her goosebumps. Misha didn't even realize where the others went. They were only with them a few minutes ago then again Lux had her distracted. She hoped he liked her back. He was showing her signs of liking her in a romantic kind of way. Lux had taken Misha very close towards him as their bodies grinded against each other moving voluntarily with the beats of the drum and base. It was one night she'd never forget. She felt light headed as if she were floating in the air little did she know she was literally.

Lux was in heaven with Misha. She was one Hot chick he was afraid of rejecting him. Mainly due to her take on couples as a whole. He didn't blame her as her sister had been through a rough patch. He wasn't used to this as it was all new to him. how did he even know how to react? He didn't want to rush things just take them as they came. His powers were already wreaking havoc on him as he was shooting electric bolts. They weren't dangerous but who knew with his temperament. Misha was normally so playful but this side was one he hadn't seen before. Yeah he thought Misha was nervous just like him. good job too he wasn't in this alone. it was Misha who broke the ice by holding his hands so he took the initiative to take her in his arms swaying to the band. All in all the night was going smoothly. A little too smoothly thought Lux. He wasn't used to something not going wrong coz in their family there was always something that never went to plan. Lux wanted so badly to enjoy the night but his powers were going a little crazy. Was it an anxiety attack? Who knew what it was but something was off. His sisters surely would have picked up on this then again they were distracted. He watched Misha glance at him a little coyly and he just gave her a smile back. He wasn't going to ruin the night just based on a hunch.

Sid had enough of this stupid night. His ears were a little sensitive. God this music was bloody loud. He felt them about to explode. They were going to burst his eardrums at this rate. Trust Misha to take her hot date to a rock gig. She was true to her party animal ways but this scene wasn't for Sid. It might have been a long time ago back in his raves they used to go to in London. Partying there was a lot wilder. Kids here didn't know what they were missing in clubs in London which was a hot spot. Watching Kabir with Lexie wasn't ideal for him as this anger he'd been trying so hard to hold back was reaching the surface. He wasn't going to spoil their night. He was used to being in the wrong place at the wrong time as always being a thorn. He hated being this way. This barrage of immense intensity coming at him with a sudden surge blasting away the armour he'd tried to cover himself with was coming away. He had to get away from here. Sid did a quick scan of where his scattered family members were. Mish was with Lux good to see someone wasn't all there. Lux was feeling off as his body language and face were giving out different messages. It wasn't something Misha would pick up on but to Sid he knew right away the signs of discomfort. Who knew what was going on but something was wrong. He'd felt it in his bones. He was about to walk away searching for Panchi and Piya. Only to be stopped in his tracks by Pari. What the f**k? She got what she wanted to keep him away from Kabir and Lexie so why was she here?

Sid slouched towards Pari-"What the hell do U want witch?"

Pari intuitively knew something was off. She didn't mind Sid's threatening composure-"I just want to thank U for steering away from Lexie. I know its not easy."

Sid growled angrily at her-"U came to thank me! U did it now move woman i'm not sticking around here a moment longer than needed to."

Pari closed her eyes trying to look deeper into the night ahead hitting a wall-"I know i warned U away from them but Sid it is in the best interest of U all. In time it will be clearer but for now heed what i say to U. This is all a trap. I can't see who the threat is from but i'm thinking your sister is in trouble. She's not here Sid! I can't find her."

Sid was listening now standing straight changing his tone a few decibels lower-"Misha's fine Panchi's grooving away so Piya! She's with Abhay right?" Sid searched the crowds frantically.Could he sniff her out he thought a little stupidly to himself with Pari just ignoring his thoughts trying to find Abhay.

Pari wasn't able to find Abhay yet-"They've been fighting. Abhay and Piya that is about personal issues. I can't disclose anything. I think Piya's walked off leaving Abhay behind. She isn't taking her threats seriously Sid. We were too lax in our security. I didn't think the gang would split like this. I've been keeping tabs on the others but Piya. Abhay. Theres too much noise to even concentrate on and too many people present."

Sid understood the predicament they were in-"First things first we find Piya. She's the priority. Abhay's a big boy he can watch out for himself. If we try find him we'll be losing time on Piya. We can't waste anymore time. The sooner we find her the better it is for us all."

Pari agreed only because Abhay was a supernatural. He usually felt Piya in trouble and he'd run after her within seconds. Why did he even let her out of his sight was the question? Then again Piya was hard work. Her constant need to find answers were detrimental for all of them. Pari was like the rest of them blowing wind to caution until after they'd split. It had to be a ploy to get Piya while they all let their gurad down and only a being so cunning could do this. They'd played into her hand.

Pari rushed Sid taking him by the hand insearch for Piya-I'll round up Lux and Lexie. U gotta go and find her Sid she's probably somewhere nearby. I'll meet U at the back.

Phew! Finally Piya could breathe. She'd felt claustrophobic jammed in with too many people had given her a headache. She was a little disappointed with Abhay he hadn't even bothered to give a compliment or say one good thing to her. She hated herself for arguing with Abhay but the frustration was too much. He wound her up when he clammed up in a shell. Was it that bad! The truth! She paid the man in front for a bottle of Evian water. She quickly opened the bottle and took a sip. Piya turned around trying to get back to Abhay. She wasn't gone for long. She was curious on how the others were getting on. A sudden breeze brushed past her. She'd felt someone's presense. Then a voise almost hypnotic was calling out to her. Piya remained frozen for a few minutes. Her brain told her to return while her body had a mind of itself. What was going on? It was dark and Piya wasn't in the mood to face Abhay yet. He was pi**ing her off. Yeah Abhay wasn't himself. Then she saw someone. At least she thought she did. Piya took another sip of water. The voice called out to her again.

RUN PIYA IT'S NOT SAFE RUN!!!!!!!

Piya had this running in her head but she chose to ignore it. She wasn't running from anything. Her imagination often ran wild as it did anyway but she wasn't a coward. She'd face whatever it was. Abhay risked his neck out too many times. It was probably her mind playing tricks on her. She wasn't exactly herself the past few days.

PIYA RUN MY DARLING GIRL. GO BACK TO ABHAY! BABY RUN NOW!

Piya shouted out loud-"MOM!"

She headed out towards the voices calling her away. Why was she doing this again Piya thought. Then she knew she had to face her fears. Abhay was trying to wrap her in cotton wool. She wasn't going to break. Maybe her answers lay with whatever was calling her. it had to be a fellow witch right? Maybe a friend of Lexie's. What was it Piya thought?

Piya called out with a shaky voice-"Who is it? Show yourself!"

Then she saw two bodies appear moving super fast her eyes couldn't focus on one person. What was this? Piya started to step back only someone stopped her from behind. Piya turned around quickly but there was nobody there. Piya turned around again heading forwads. Something touched her. she was sure of it. She turned around again trying to run back but there was a dark figure lurking still. Piya was beginning to see her mistake. She should never have left. Now she was all alone. Piya looked all around for any sign of people. There were some headed out but they looked wasted. Too drunk to notice what was going on.

Piya tried to reason with herself. Its Ok Piya. Nothing is there. U have nothing to fear its all in the head. Its all an apparition you've built up scaring yourself to death-"Hello! Who is it?"

A voice in her head rang-PIYA RUN! Theres two of them Run I will try to hold them off of U.

Piya spoke in her head-MOM! IT'S U! Oh Mom what's going on?

Sugandh in Piya's head-Less talking more running!

Piya ran as fast as she could away from whatever it was. She wasn't sure how Abhay used to find her but she called for him as loud as she could screaming his name-"ABHAY! COME TO ME! I NEED U ABHAY! I'm so sorry! ABHAY!"

Then a bump. She banged into something concrete. It felt that way. She saw two eyes staring back at her. they seemed familiar. As if she'd seen them before. It was dark but the woman was it a woman?

Maya with her hypnotic voice-"Hello Piya!"

Piya stunned to see the woman before her-"U! You're the supply lady who dropped by. What are U doing here? U scared me half to death."

Maya only just stared back at Piya walking towards her-"Really then i did what i came for. What are U doing here this time of the night? Didn't anyone tell U it's not safe for women to be walking around alone at night. Anything could happen to U."

Piya couldn't help but show her uneasiness around Maya. The lady was frightening in a eerie sort of way. Her eyes bore into hers-"I need to get back. U should join us. Its totally mad in there."

Maya shined her gleamy whites at Piya-"I know i scouted the place out before. So much flesh to chew into. The blood pumping. It's like stealing candy from a store only people are so out of it they wouldn't miss a drop."

Piya moved back a little as Maya came towards her-"Are U on drugs lady? Ecstasy or some funky drink. U don't sound with it."

Maya came around fast behind Piya-"Oh Piya i'm not into any of those mortal drugs they do nothing for me."

Piya queried-"How did U do that?"

Maya hissed-"Do this?"Moving to face Piya holding her firmly in place.

Piya nodded trying to get free.

Maya loved the fear in Piya's eyes-"It's easy to do it when U aren't alive and have powers. Like Abhimanyu!"

Piya's eyes widened-"Abhi what?"

Maya let go of Piya as she started to get ready to shake Piya's world-"Didn't loverboy tell U anything? Men they can be so unreliable at times. Always leaving the women to do their dirty work. I suppose he hasn't changed much over the years."

Piya's voice wavered-"What's Abhay got anything to do with U lady? He's not what U think he is."

Maya moved in darting fast pushing Piya against a tree menacingly-"What is he Piya? He's not a sourcerer then what is he?"

Piya refused to look into Maya's eyes they were filled with so much venom and her hold was hurting her-"He's just Abhay! How do U know him? he's never mentioned U before."

Maya grabbed hold of Piya's neck cutting off the air supply-"I guess not. He and I go way back before U were ever born Piya. I pity U. I really do. You're mortal life is such a waste seeking answers from Abhay as if he knew how to answer any of them. I just want to snap U in half inly this won't give him much pain. I need him to suffer. To pay for what he did. I'd have thought you'd remember everything by now."

Piya struggled for the words to come out-"Remember what?"

Maya laughed out loud hurling her away to the floor-"What we are? What we did? What happened to U? See all this is just a dj vu scenario. I kill U or he kills U then U come back and the cycle restarts again. Only this time i know how to end U for good Piya."

Piya ached feeling her grazed body against the floor-"I don't understand!"

Maya screeched at Piya-"U are so dumb it hurts. Abhimanyu is Abhay U stupid girl!"

Piya felt another being behind her as she turned she saw him-"Danish!"

He stood behind her with his smirk and his black eyes-"Hello B***c" Miss me much!"

Piya tried to move away from Danish-"What are U doing here? Get away from me! I'll scream!"

He just walks over so slowly-"Do what U want U filthy b***h! Won't work we came tp do some damage."

Maya laughs as Piya winces in pain with Danish holding Piya's arms so tightly-"Danish we got plenty of time take her out of here towards the ruins. I've made preparations for Abhay. One he'll never forget."

Danish zoomed his black eyes at Piya-"I can't wait to taste U Piya. Though i'd rather just finish U off but my lady has a grand plan. Her wish is my command."

Piya tried to outrun them. They were psychos and Danish what was he on steroids-"ABHAY PLEASE SAVE ME."

Danish mocked back-"ABHAY PLEASE SAVE ME! The freak is nowhere to be seen b***h! He's had enough of your whining. Personally i'd have just finished U off but Abhay is weak. I need a feast and U will provide it for me. Don't think i'm letting U go Piya after what U did to me i'm going to make sure U get what U deserve."
