Chapter 19

Both Maan and Geet had left early in the morning for their stake out. They both sat in the car looking at Vicky's big house...with each passing minute Geet's fear started increasing...than she saw him leaving his house..they both watched as he entered his car with full attitude..you could tell that he has a very cold demeanor.

As the car left the house, Maan started driving behind him maintaining a good amount of distance between them. The car stopped at in front of his company, he got out and started walking inside the building but what they both saw after shocked them he looked back and smiled before entering.

Maan: Shit do you think he knows that we are following him?

Geet: I don't know I am very worried right now

Maan: Don't worry nothing will happen to you

Geet:"Zindagi Har Kadam Ek Nayi Jung Hai...Jeet Jayenge Hum tu agar Sang Hai" (She helds Maan's hand) I know nothing will happen to me Maan as long as you are with me..

Maan smiles at Geet: Of corse Geet I am not leaving you ever

Geet: What do you think his smile meant? I mean how could he possibly know if we are following him or not?

Maan: I don't know anything can go through his mind as of now but we can't take any chances.

Geet: You are right.

So both waited in the car till the evening until it was time for him to go home. They again started following Vicky around. Instead of going home Vicky went to a cafe and just sat there looking out the window. He was enjoying his coffee with a smile when he saw someone coming to his booth and sat across him. He smiled at the lady that took a seat in front of him...they both held hands and talked to each other comfortably.
Geet: Who is she?

Maan: I don't know..I know that she is not his wife I have seen her picture

Geet: Is he seeing her? The way he is holding her hand it seems like they are going out

Maan: hmm maybe you are right...lets see what happens

After five mintues: Maan: Geet do you think that it is him? Just by looking the way he walks?

Geet who kept her eyes on Vicky answered him: hmm yeah I think that is the person..the way he is walking with full confidence and all

Maan: hmm..hold on am gonna make a call to Adi and let him know what I am doing in case

Geet was still watching Vicky from while Maan was busy talking on the phone than she saw him looking out the window smiling again in between their talks. His eyes kept on looking out every now and than. Geet started trembling "He knows"

Maan looked at Geet while talking to Adi he noticed her hands were trembling. "Adi I will call you back...bye..Geet what happend?"

Geet: He knows for sure that we are following him

Maan: How do you know?

Geet: he just looked out the window and he smiled again as if he is mocking us...he is playing with us Maan

Maan: Lets go than

Geet: What is going to happen to the girls that are out there? If he knows that we are following than am sure that he won't go to visit them. What if they die?

Maan: Don't worry Geet. We will figure something out. For now lets go from here if he does know that we are following than am sure that he will not do anything stupid for now

Geet: Alright lets go

A whole week had passed but each day they would come back home empty handed with no evidence that could trap Vicky. He was too smart. He was simply playing a game with them..every day he would leave the house and go staright home after work. Even his phone calls conversations didn't help. Maan was getting fursturated everyday. He was watching a criminal roam around free in Delhi while he could do nothing but sit and watch.
