Geet shockingly looked at Maan.

'yeh yeh kya hai' she asked confused.

'shaadi ka joora hai.. aaj tumhari shaadi hai'.' Pause 'mere saat' Maan replied smiling at her.

'Kya'.. Geet exclaimed shockingly.

Flashback to 8 years ago when Geet was 12-Mumbai

At the police station

Sunaina and Karan were members of a criminal gang which was headed by Brij. Sunaina and Karan were feeling guilty for the noctorious crimes they had done under the influence of Brij.

'Sunaina hume police ko sab kuch bata na hooga aur Geet keh liye hume ye karna hoga'

'aap tik ka re ha hai' replied Sunaina. Sunaina and Karan went to meet the police inspector commissioner telling him about all the crimes commited by Brij and crimes he was going to commint. They were informing the police about everything.

'Tik hai humme aap ko police protection dena hoga'said Vikrant the police commissioner. 'liken ye mat bool na Brij ke pakre jaane ke baad apko bi case hoga'

'Jee hume maloom hai. Humme bas ek cheeze app se chahiye humaraa beti Geet ko in sab se door rakiye' said Sunaina.

Vikrant agreed to help Geet after they had arrested Brij and Geet's parents. That evening Geet parents went home as Vikrant asked them to act like nothing had happen and they had not told the police anything. However Brij had come to know of the betrayal Geet's parents had done. That night in the car, Geet parents had met with accident. Geet was strapped in the back seat. Geet was unconscious but her parents were brutally hurt and wounded.

Hospital

Sunaina was speaking to Vikrant 'Mujhe pata hai yeh accident Brij ne karvaya hai. Mujhe daar hai keh Brij Geet ko kuch na kare. Agar jo Meena keh saat hua wo agar Geet ke saat hua to'

'kya hua' Sunaina explained that Meena wasthe daughter of another betrayer of Brij and after killing Meena parents Brij had gain hold of Meena and turned her into his mistress.

'Main wada karta hu main Geet ko hamesha kaayal rakonga hamesha. Brij ko auskey pass tak pochne nahi doonga'.

Promising Sunaina and Karan, they breathed there last. Vikrant being a sincere police officer knew that the first place Brij would look for Geet would be at his home. Therefore he sent Geet to an orphanage in Delhi and explained the situation to Sister Maria who promised to look after Geet as her very own child. Vikrant made sure never to visit the orphanage but occasioannly spoke to Geet as her uncle. He kept getting updated pictures of her through Maria and her life acheivemtns.

Flashback to 1 week before PRESENT

'Maan betey suno meri baat tik tara se suno' asked Vikrant who was in a wounded state. The wounded state had been caused by Brij. Vikrant told Maan all about Geet and Geet's parents promise.

'Tumhe Geet ka khayal rakna hoga. Humare police force main ek gadar ta jisne Geet keh bare main saree pata janli.. tumhe Geet ko bachane ki liye Delhi jana hoga aur ausi kuch mat batana. Geet ko apne parents keh bare main kuch nahi pata. Ausi sirf itna yaad hai woe k accident meh marchuke hai aur yeh bi maat batana keh auski jaan ko katra hai'. Maan promised his father that he would protect Geet.

Night of the shooting '(1^st update)

Maan had come to save Geet from the other men who were shooting and aiming at her. They were Brij's Men who had come to kidnap Geet but as Maan and his army was there they were shooting. Maan had saved Geet. He fell in love with her at first sight. He promised himself even if it was just his fathers promise, it is now his promise to save her.

Flashback to following Day

Maan was following Geet all day to make sure that no one would follow her or disturb her. He realised that he be distant from her. When he saw Dev with her and annoying her his blood boiled. But seeing her slap him, he smiled at the guts of this girl. He followed her to the police station and heard her complaint about him. Maan was angry at the fact that Dev was annoying her for so long. He got Dev arrested anyways by the authority of his father. Maan then followed Geet home and saw some men following her. He ordered his army to take care of them and he kidnapped Geet to save her from them.

Following day when Geet woke up at Maan's Den

Maan had to make up a reason to why he had brought her here and used the police station reason. Looking at Geet incapacitated he couldn't help but want to go close to her. His senses had over taken him. After Geet swore at him, Maan anger emeged, he had always been a angry person and could not hear anyone being rude or nasty. He slapped Geet for that matter. Seeing Geet trying to escape he wanted to teach her a lesson that she couldn't escape from him and it was better for her own life to stay. He had to act harsh with Geet because he couldn't tell her the real reason due to the promise he made to his father. Maan spoke to his father about marrying Geet to protect her which his father obliged. Maan was happy and decided that he would protect Geet by making her his and make her love him.

Present

'kya main apse shaadi nahi karungi.. main kisi se bi shaadi nahi karunge.. app meri saat zabarzasti nahi karsaktee' Geet yelled. Maan got angry at her for refusing to marry him. He knew the reason why he wanted to marry her but couldn't tell her that it was for her safety and he had started to fall in love with her. He got up and forced her to get changed otherwise

'Main pehnadoonga' He smirked and walked off.
