Geet walked along the beach, weighed down by her thoughts. She had come all the way out here for the solitude and silence as it gave her momentary respite from her problems.
Geet (thinking): Babaji please help me! What do I do? I need to move out of Pinky's place before the baby arrives. I cannot let my shame tarnish the reputation of the only people who were there for me, who supported me through this terrible ordeal.
She thought back to all the times he had helped her out and then back to all the times he had yelled at her.
Geet: Babaji maine itna confused insane aaj tak nahi dekha. On one hand he insults me, screams at me and on the other hand, he cancels multimillion dollar deals if someone else dares to do the same. It's like screaming at me is his exclusive right.
She smiled at the thought as walked on by and then her thoughts turned back to the very man who had betrayed her, Dev. Her heart no longer cracked when she thought of him but there was still the slight pain that refused to go away, maybe it never would.
Someone: Ouch! Geet looked down to see a guy sprawled on the ground, rubbing his ankle.
Geet: Jee woh I'm so sorry I didn't see you. And what on earth are you doing lying on the floor! Anyone could walk over you! Not that you can't lie down here, it is public property after all but lying in the sand at this time' she trailed off as the guy started laughing.
Guy: Tum hamesha itna bolti ho or is today a special day?
Geet: I love to talk! Mujhe mere boss bhi har waqt dante rehte hain coz i talk so much. Just tell me to shut up if I go overboard! He flashed a quick smile at her and patted the ground next to him, inviting her to sit down.
Geet: I'm not naive if that's what you're thinking. I'm just a good judge of character. You have kind eyes even if they are filled with pain. My mom always told me that a person's eyes are the window the window to their heart and you have honest eyes even if they are filled with pain. She offered him another sweet smile.
Guy: Hi I'm Armaan, Armaan Malik! He extended his hand for a handshake. Hearing his name, Geet started laughing. She let loose all her inhibitions and laughed freely as Armaan stared at her in amazement.
