This update made my eyes moist. Geet has suffered a lot in her past, right from her birth! She craved for her father's and brother's affection and love. She tried winning their heart by her selfless acts of service which they hardly noticed. There was only one person who noticed and appreciated her efforts and that was her mother-a ray of hope in her dark life. Her brother, Manu, though loved her but didn't had enough courage to admit it in front of his father! Her father is so disgusting! He forced himself on Rano, he made his sons like himself and he hates his own daughter-Geet. Rano's life turned into hell because of this man😡 yup, the man not only ruined his wife's life but his children too.... making his sons like him
Geet has silently suffered all this while only in the hope that someday her father would accept her. She craved for acceptance and love... but only received hatred....
This part was really heart-wrenching😭

They perfectly portray the feelings of Rano and Geet. Rano's dreams were broken by Geet's father when he forced her into marriage with him. But still she has some hopes that her dreams might be fulfilled one day! I am glad you were able to get the depth of this little poetry....
And Geet-a little six year old girl has only seen hatred towards her from her brothers and father. She has seen her mothers in tears. So much has been inflicted on the young child's mind that she is scared to hell. All she wanted was acceptance and love which she never got! 🤗 for going so deep into my writing and understanding what I didn't exactly wrote in words....
And she had been so bright for a six year old. But her talent has gone into the waste-thanks to her father and brothers. let's hope her new family will recognize her brilliance and bring forth her talents....
No one can truly understand the pain she's been through every minute of her life! True....
Maan and his family will really have to work hard to help her gain her confidence, to trust people, to love herself and others. They need to understand her a lot. The process has started with Geet feeling safe with her husband's hold on her hands. Hope Maan understands her nature soon.
Thanks for giving an insight in her past. It helped to understand her psyche a little better. There is more to come, Part 13 was Geet's happy moment.... Part 15 will display the traumatic event of her life...
Also you enlightened me about the defence mechanism of switching one off from the present to some beautiful memory of the past.
Rano had been in love with someone else. Is Arjun the one out of this union? And where is Manu? What happened to Rano post delivery? How did it effect Geet? Hope the coming updates gives us more insight into Geet's past.
