******Author's Note******

Okay, so many of you seems to be confused at why no one is questioning Geet's silence.... Firstly, I would like to remind you all that Geet has not even spent the whole day with the family yet.... remember it's only been a day since she entered the Khurana house.... Secondly, the family is too consumed in their happiness and the preparation of muh-dikhai to give serious consideration towards Geet's lack of speech.... for now they all are just assuming that she is too shy and nervous around them... they are basically giving her time to adjust into her new life.... I hope this explanation clears my readers confusion..... if not then I can only say that one of the future update will address this issue so I can only hope that you all will be patient till then because that update is a few parts away..... I apologize for leaving you guys with unanswered questions but with the promise that the questions will be answered in the future parts...

There is one more thing I would like to address.... well... announce actually especially to those who are eagerly waiting/expecting to read Maneet romance.... I am afraid there will be very little of Maneet in the next three parts.... I know this is a maneet ff but like you all have noticed there is more to this ff then just love and romance... hence the next few parts will focus on Geet's past.... there will be few flashbacks which will reveal some interesting facts about Geet and will also describe about the abuse she went through....

I don't know how many readers of my ff are minors (under 18) I am sure there are quite a lot... so I would just like to warn everyone that Part 15 will describe violence so if any of the readers are not comfortable with reading such things then please kindly skip that part....

I know, I have probably disappointed a lot of my readers by mentioning the fact that there won't be any maneet scenes in the next three parts but I hope you all will still continue to read the future parts because these three parts are probably the most intriguing parts of this ff, filled will revelations, mysteries, violence and new characters.....

"Geet?....open the door Pari" Rano called as she continuously twisted the door knob, shocked to see the door locked. "Geet?... door kholo beta" Rano called again trying to hide the tremors in her voice. A sudden alarm passed through her body at not receiving any reply from her daughter. The locked door set her in a panic, Geet never locked the door, she was not allowed to lock the door...... then why had her daughter broken that rule?..... what had urged her to take the risk of getting punished from her father?.......

super love how they understand each other with there khamoshi & how she kiss him in the nose to thank him amazing the way yu describe each character & the nok jhok between NT Meera sis cont soonnnnnnnnnn cant to read next part but the preview sound scary

oh! It is geet's past! But why it is coming front? Is she reminding it? Or something else? Everytime u gave preview i think it was better without one! Without this i can wait a week more cz i have no idea whats coming up..bt nw i becm more restless to know what is gonna happen next!!!

Great preview...I love the way you are building the whole story and if that means waiting for Maneet romance, so be it. I love the slow but steady pace you have taken up. Excited to read the update!!

That looks interesting...but where will the confession/flashback fit in vis-a-vis the mooh dikhayee ki rasam...I am very curious? Also what triggers this confession/flashback?

First of all my apologies for not commenting since the last 2 updates😒

But I have been regularly reading the updates😛

The way you're weaving the whole story is just awesome!

Geet's character and its portrayal is the most challenging task, I feel, while writing this story. And you do it so perfectly. You understand her psychology so well-the fear, the apprehensions of being happy, of being accepted after being abused by her father and brothers for years! Her so called father and father treated her like ashes making her do all the household chores, keeping her away from the word instead of educating her. They have filled her mind with bad images of life after marriage. All these years that she has lived has affected her psyche badly. She remembers being loved and cared only by her late mother and now when Maan and his family are showering love and care she's confused of their behaviour. She's not able to decide if they really care and love her or she is gonna be reprimanded the next moment.

The way you are portraying this is just amazing!

I am really enjoying reading this story.

Naintara is nice. She cares about her family. And I like the Love-Hate relationship she shares with Meera. She may not voice her warm feelings towards her but she surely does love her.

I like the humour element you introduced, two updates back I guess, when Naintara was asking Maan if he's consummated his marriage or not.

I am looking forward to the future updates-the family realizing Geet's quiet nature, her hesistations, discovery of her past by Maan, Maan and his family helping Geet to overcome her fears and embrace life happily.

Also, I wanted to ask if Geet's father and her brothers will be there in the future updates as in they visiting her at Delhi or something of this sort?

Hope you give the next part soon.😳
