Part 13

The next day in office, Sasha walked up to Geet and held her hand and shouted at her

'what is this Geet?.. Tune doh din se chute li hai aur kisi ko bataya bi nahi.' Everyone in office turned to stare at her to see what was going on.

'woh Maam, kuch din ki liyee main …' Geet began to say

'Pata Sasha Maam aaj toh yeh ladki kuch bhi karti hai aur apne maanmarzi karti hai. Aur sunne main pata chala hai ki woh Maan Sir ki ghar main rehti hai.' Tasha said butting in.

'KYA? Geet tum MK keh ghar main kis haq se reh ra hi ho tum ho kaun' asked Sasha holding tightly Geet's hand and digging her nails into her.

'GEET mere mangetar hai' A voice came from behind. Everyone turned towards the direction of the voice and saw Maan standing there in his MSK style with his arms crossed against his chest and eyes of deep anger looking at the office.

'ab tum log apna apna kaam karo aur tum Sasha Geet ka Haath choro'. Geet glanced at Sasha and then Maan. Sasha gave a evil look at Geet and then walked off.

Geet followed Maan into his cabin silently. She looked down and kept fidgeting with her duppata. She knew Maan was angry with the office staff. Geet slowly walked up to Maan who was staring out of the window and facing his back towards her and hugged him from the back.

'Maan aap please shant ho jaye' Geet said. Maan slowly turned around and engulfed her into a hug. He looked at Geet and asked her

'Geet Sasha ne tumhe itna kuch kaha aur tumhe kuch nahi kaha aur phir bhi tumhe meri chinta hai keh main gussa ho' Maan asked. 'tum apne bare main kab sochogi'

'Maan aap ho na mere saath mere liye toh phir' Geet replied back smiling at him. She turned around and was walking out the door when Maan noticed something and asked her to stop. Geet realised why Maan had stopped her. She tried hiding her hand behind her back praying that he would not see the marks that Sasha had left.

'Geet apna haat dekhawo' Maan said firmly walking towards her. Geet got scared because she knew if Maan saw the marks then he would go limitless in his anger. Geet tried her best to keep her hand out of Maan;s reached and tried to walk out the office when Maan grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. He saw the nail marks on her hands and looked at Geet. Geet looked at Maan pleadingly to let this matter pass. But the anger and pain in his eyes showed different. He went to Sasha office and fired her immediately. He then grabbed Geet and told the whole staff that from now on Geet was in Sasha place in the company and they will all call her Maam from now on.

He then led Geet by the hand and left the office. He then drove home without a word. Geet was getting anxious with his behaviour. She was wondering whether he was angry at her for keeping quiet or some other reason. She looked at Maan trying to get his attention but Maan kept focused on the road.

Patanahi babaji Maan mujse kyun nahi baat kare hai.

The car finally stopped in front of Khurana Mansion. Before Geet could exit the car herself Maan went round and lifted her out of the car. She held on tighly and inhaled the feeling of being in Maan's arm. He lifted her and carried her all the way to his bedroom.

He laid her down and went out to get something. When he returned he saw Geet with tears in her eyes. He went up to her and held her chin up with his finger.

'I'm Sorry Maan aap mere wajah seh gussey main ho' Geet said. Maan smiled and wiped her tears and said to her

'Kisne kaha Gee tab tum rona bandh karo' Said Maan kissing her tears away. He then got some ointment and put it on the marks that Sasha had given her. He then smiled and asked her to sleep for a while seeing Geet was tired. He will be back later.

'Phar yaha aap keh kamre main' Geet asked realising her surroundings. Maan just smiled at her and said

'Haa aadat dal lo Geet tumhe kuch dino main hamesha yaha sona hoga' Maan smiled and walked out. Geet smiled to herself with relief that Maan was not angry at her. Geet went to sleep for a few hours and woke up later that evening feeling hungry. She looked around for Maan and saw he was not around. She got up and washed her face and went downstairs. She saw that the whole house was empty.

'uff yeh Maan bi na pata nahi kaha ghoom ho ja ti hai ab mujhe bhook lagi hai aur Maan' Geet spoke to herself

'Mere bareme sochrahi ti' A voice spoke from behind. She turned around and saw the man of her dreams Maan.

'Nahi main kyun soch ne lagi ap ki bare main' Geet said turning her head around looking up towards the ceiling

'aacha.. phir main chala jata ho Geet' said Maan. Geet turned around and saw Maan disappeared.

'Tik hai mujhe bhi aap ki koi zarrorat nahi.' Geet yelled. She walked towards the stairs and was about to slip when Maan held her.

'Sach main Geet tume mere zarrorat hai' Maan said lifting her up and taking her to the dinner table. He told her to stay there quietly and he returned with food. Both Maan and Geet ate in silence taking glances at eachother.

Next Day

'Geet Pinky aur Adi kal waapas are re he hai aur ek kush khabri hai do hafto main woh dono shaadi karne waley hai. Isliye tum parso ghar ja sakti ho Pinky ko tumhari zarorat hogi na' Said Maan

'Kya Pinky Shaadi aur ausne mujhe kuch nahi bataya.' Geet exclaimed in shock. Maan then turned to Geet and showed her phone with 15 miscalls from Pinky.

'Ab samji Miss Handa' said Maan smiling at her innocence.

The next two days went fine with Maan and Geet stealing glances at eachother during the office hours ending with dinner together.

The following day was a satuday. Geet was going to go back to Pinky's house that afternoon. Geet decided to watch TV when she saw the news of a building on fire. Geet whole body stiffened. She did not move nor say a word. Tears started coming out of her eyes. Maan then walked in and saw Geet in a trance. He tried to call her out of it but she would not budge. Luckily at that moment Pinky walked in and switched the TV off and shook Geet vigorously.

Geet came out of her trance and hugged Pinky crying. Pinky managed to calm her down and she beconked Maan from the back to wait. Pinky then took Geet to her room and told her to get her stuff together. Pinky went back downstairs and spoke to Maan

'Sir mera matlab hai jiju.. wo Geet ko aag se bohot daar lagda hai aur yeh news dekkar ausi woh hadsa yaad agaya hoga. Gee ab tak who hadse daar lagta hai aur in saare news seh aussi door rakna paar ta hai. Agar ausne aag ki bare main kuch bi dekhliya to woh kojati hai. Aur agar woh aag ki pass gayi to wo bohot daar jati hai aur ghabarat hoti hai isliye sir please aap isse ddor rakna'

Maan acknowledged the fact at what happened and was upset by the fact that he could have helped Geet if he knew what happened. He decided that he will always be there for Geet. He dropped Geet and Pinky home.

Three weeks had passed and Maan and Geet rarely had time to see eachother. Geet managed to call MAan once in a while but there was so much work to do for Pinky's wedding. Pinky's dad was happy that finally both of his daughters were going to settle down. Finally the day of the wedding arrived. Geet was wearing a brown sari and she had her hair opened and light make up she had to look the best for her best friends wedding. Meanwhile Maan was wearing a white shirt with a black trousers and blazer.

Adi and Pinky were taking the pheras. And Maan kept chucking flowers at Geet. Geet was getting annoyed and told Maan to stop and tried to move away but Maan held her by the waist and kept her close to him. Geet was getting goosebumps and her heart rate was increasing. She was annoyed with Maan holding her so tightly and so close but as it was her best friends wedding she didn't want to fight with Maan today. Finally the bidaai happens and Geet and Pinky's dad cry a lot.

Finally Pinky leaves with Adi for her sasural. Geet was happy that Pinky had finally settled down in life. Maan wipes Geets tears and hugs her. Geet goes into her room and decides to get changed. Maan decided to wait for her as Pinky dad was not home and he did not want Geet to be left alone this late at night.

He walked past Geet's room and waited outside. Geet went into her ensuite bathroom and got changed into her night suit. Meanwhile Maan was talking on the phone to dadi. Geet had two candles lit in her room. A sudden gush of wind came and the candles ignited Geet's room curtains and Geets bed. Geet walked out of the bathroom and was shocked to see her room on fire. She stood there in fright scared to death. She could not talk breath or think. All she could see was fire. She tried calling out to Maan but could not. She coughed and coughed and fainted. Meanwhile Maan smelt smoke coming from Geet's room and was horrified to see her room on fire. He called out to Geet 3 times and then remembered what Pinky said. He ran into the room coughing looking for Geet when he saw a human form on the floor. He realised it was his Geet. He picked her up and covered her with his jacket. There was no way to get out of the room at this point. The fire had engulfed most of the room and was covering the doorway. Pinky's dad had rushed back and saw the fire and called the fire brigage. Maan saw a duvet hanging out of Geet cupboard. He picked it up and wrapped it around himself and Geet making sure that Geet was fully covered and ran through the fire towards the door and managed to get out. Pinky dad rushed up to him and asked if he was ok. Maan replied that he was. He tried waking Geet up but she would not stir. She was stil breathing but there was smoke in her lungs. With no time wasted he ran with her in his arms and took her to the hospital.

At the hospital Geet was taken into the ICU. Maan was anxious worried about his Geet how he promised pinky that he would protect her from fire. He felt miserable that he failed in protecting his Geet. He stood there for hours crying and praying for his Geet to be all right. The doctors stepped out of the ICU and told Maan that Geet was perfectly all right. He did good by bringing her to the hospital at the right time.

Maan rushed into Geet's room and looked at her with tears in his eyes. He sat next to Geet. Geet looked at him held his hand smiled and said

'aap kyun ro rahi hai Maan muje laga ki aap kabi nahi roti.' She smiled at him and tried to sit up Maan helped her sit up and arranged the pillows for her.

'Geet mujhe laga ki main tumhe koodonga' Maan said looking at her. Geet smiled and wiped his tears and said to him

'Geet ki sass maan se hai. Geet ki saaase Maan se juri hue hai. Jab tak aap ho mere saath mujhe kuch nahi hoga. Geet aur Maan ka name hi nahi saasson bi jur chuki hai. Jab tak app hai mai hu' Geet said with sincerity. Maan looked into her eyes and smiled. He relaxed. He kissed her forhead and told her to sleep. Geet asked him not to go anywhere. He managed to arrange another bed to be brought into her room and adjusted it right next to her. Geet and Maan slept in the same room but different beds that night. But it was only a matter of time before they will always share the same bed.

Part 14

Recap: Adi and Pinky get married and Maan saves Geet from the fire.

Next morning

Geet awoke before Maan and tried to adjust her eyes to the surroundings. She realised that she was still in the hospital. She turned to her left and saw Maan sleeping there peacefully. Her heart lept out towards him. She stood up and walked towards Maan and gave him a kiss on his forehead. She sat there on his bed admiring him and loving the closeness. She stood up to walk away when something grabbed her arm. She turned to see Maan holding her wrist. His eyes were still closed. Geet smiled to herself and thought needh main bhi Maan mujhe door nahi jane dehtey'. She tried unclasping her hand when she slipped and fell over Maan with her body over his. Maan awoke to see Geet's face right above his own. His eyes intently staring at hers. Geet stayed in that position looking at Maan as if he had put her in a trance. She then attempted to get up when Maan pulled her back towards him.

'Geet tum mujhe chor ki kaha jarahi ho' Maan asked with such desire in his eyes not to let Geet move even one foot away from him. He pulled her closer with there lips just inches from eachothers face. He then pulled her closer for a kiss. Geet didn't object. She fulfilled the kiss with as much passion as Maan was putting in. He sucks every corner of her lips. He parted her mouth with his tongue. Both of there tongues touched. He kiss and played with her lips not letting any part of it untouched. Geet was in a trance she let Maan do what he wanted and she gave it back to him. She felt like she was in heaven. Finally Maan let her go. Geet was blushing heavely and ran to the adjacent bathroom to get changed. Before she entered the bathroom Maan got up and said to her

'tum phir she mujhe chod ki jarahi ho' Geet smiled and said 'aane ki liye hi jarahi ho Maan'. And she ran into the bathroom and got ready. That afternoon the doctor allowed Maan and Geet to go home. Pinky's dad had called that afternoon and told Geet that he had been transferred to another branch of his company that he was working for so he bidded her goodbye on the phone. Pinky and Adi had already left for their honey moon. Maan and Geet decided not to tell them about the fire incident otherwise they would cancel it. Maan took Geet to his house and took her into his room again. He then realised that all of Geet's things were damaged or burnt in her room. He told Geet to rest and will be back later. Geet was bored sitting in her room. She wanted to do something. She went downstairs and sat on the counch flicking channels when she saw that her favourite movie was on. Dilwale dulhania le jayenge. She sat there watching the movie laughing and crying watching SRK and Kajol attentively. Maan returned to see Geet watching the movie. It was half way through where SRK had just come to india behind Kajol. He sat there next to Geet but Geet didn't even realised. Geet was so into the film that she didn't even realise when Maan held her hand in the last scene where SRK was getting beaten up. Geet had tears in her eyes. She then smiled at the end of the film when SRK and Kajol got back together. Maan kept staring at Geet looking at her range of emotions. Kitni filmi ladki hai. He thought smiling to himself. When the movie finished Geet realised that Maan was sitting next to her and holding her hand.

GEET: 'Maan aapp kab aye mujhe pata bi na chala' Maan looked at her and smiled

MAAN: Tum to apne DDLJ wale Raj main itni koi gayi ti ki tum apne Raj ko dekhna bool gayi

GEET: toh ap milay ho meri RAJ se. Geet chucked. Maan looked at her with a serious expression.

GEET: wo to mere samne hi beta hai. Maan smiled and said

'Geet tumhe to pata hai keh tumhare cheeze sab kuch aus din karab hogayi isliye maine tumhare liye nahi kapree phone aur kuch cheezee liyee hai. Wo tumhari kamre main hai. Aur aaj hi main dadima se baat karney wala ho hamari mangni ki liye. Adi aur pinky agle hafta aane waley hai toh hum agle haftey hi mangni ki party karenge aur phir pandit seh aachi muhorat dekhar shaadi'. Geet nodded gently as she was happy that in a few days she will be with Maan. She kissed Maan on the cheek and walked off. She went to her room and had a shower and thought about that happiness that was soon going to come in her life and how lucky she was to have Maan in her life.

That evening she sat out in the garden looking at the roses and admired them. She thought to herself gulab main kitni kaati hai liken kitni khoobsorat hotey hai na. Mere zingadi main kitni gaam the liken aaj kitni khushiya milne wali hai'. It started raining and Geet smiled as she loved the rain. She started dancing and playing in the rain. Maan looked out of his window and saw Geet and got annoyed. Yeh ladki bi na kitni baarish ho rahi hai aur agar issi zukam hogaya to. He rushed outside and saw Geet twisting and turning in happiness and playing in the rain. He was mesmerised. He stood there for a good while under the shade when he realised what he was doing. He went and dragged Geet back into the mansion. He picked her up and took her to her room. He laid her down on the couch and took out some dry clothes and told her to change. Geet looked at him and coughed. She stood up and walked towards him.

'waah Geet waah dekho ab tumhe zukam hogaya. Tumhe kya zaarorat ti bachko ki tara baarish main khelne ki' Maan said annoyed. Geet looked at him with apologetic eyes. Maan's heart started to melt when he realised he needed to be angry with Geet otherwise she would never take care of herself. He turned away from her facing the other direction. She started to say

'Maaan…' when she started feeling dizzy and was about to collapse. Maan turned around and saw her and quickly picked her up. Geet had fainted and she was still in her wet clothes. He checked her forehead and realised that she was getting a temperature. He was angry that he took so long standing there outside looking at Geet instead of bringing her in straight away. He put her on the bed and realised that she was still wearing her wet clothes. He didn't know what to do. He decided to change her clothes. He picked up the clothes he had given her and turned the lights off and changed her into the clothes. He turned the light back on and saw that Geet was still burning hot. He rushed downstairs and grabbed a bowl of cold water and towel and sat with Geet the whole night. He had called the doctor who had given her a injection. She told Maan to sit with her incase anything else goes wrong. She also took some blood for some testing because the doctor was unsure but she felt that Geet may have another problem. The following morning Geet awoke and saw Maan sleeping next to her on the bed. She didn't object nor was she angry. She reaslied that she must have fainted and Maan must have changed her clothes. She trusted Maan with all her heart that he would not do anything against her wishes to dishonour her. She got up and walked to the bathroom and got ready. Whlist she was in the bathroom Maan woke up scared to see Geet was not next to him. He was angry again for dozing off and realising that Geet never uses her brain. Geet then walked out of the bathroom and Maan looked at her and she looked at him. They were in a trance.

'Geet tum abhi bi tik nahi ho aur tumne mujhe kyun nahi utaya' yelled Maan. Geet got scared seeing the anger in his eyes.

'wo Maan aap sorahi the aur…' her voice was interrupeted by the phonecall. It was the doctor. She told Maan that Geet was anaemic and was very weak. Maan looked at Geet and thought that's it he is going to sort Geet out once and for all. He went downstairs to talk to his dadima about Geet and she agreed with that conversation they were having. He called Adi and Pinky as well and told them to return in two days. For the rest of the day Maan ignored Geet because he was angry at her for not taking care of herself. But the truth was that Maan wanted to stay away from Geet due to the conversation he had with dadi earlier. But he made sure that Geet ate well and looked after herself.

The next day Pinky arrived to Khurana mansion and took Geet to away to do some shopping. She said took Geet to her and adi house and told her to get ready and gave her a packet. In the packet was a beautiful lengha choli. Mint Green with silver embroidery. Pinky helped Geet get ready and did her make up and hair. Geet's hair was straigtend with the side part of her hair curled. Geet asked Pinky what was going on but Pinky kept quite as it was a secret. Pinky then quickly got ready herself and they both went to Khurana Mansion. Geet kept pestering Pinky to ask what was going on but Pinky would not open her mouth. They both walked into Khurana Mansion. Pinky walked behind Geet then disappeared. The whole mansion was dark. Then out of no where there was a spotlight on Geet and a spotlight at the other end of the room. The other spotlight was on Maan. Maan and Geet looked at eachother. Then a voice came.

'Hello Ladies and Gentlemen as you can see the two love birds are here and today is there engagement.' Geet turned around and saw everybody guests friends and colleagues all around her. She walked up to Maan and questioned him with her eyes

'ha Geet aaj hamari mangni hai aur kal Shaadi' Maan said smiling at her. Is this why Maan was keeping away from me he wanted to surprise me. Geet looked at Maan with tears of happiness in her eyes and thought to herself today was the best day of her life. Maan smiled at Geet and wiped her tears. The engagement ceremony began. Geet put a ring on Maan's finger and Maan did on Geet. Geet hugged Pinky with happiness and thanked her. Geet and Pinky walked off towards to talk. Khanak had also come to the party with Shaan as well. Shaan Adi and Maan were talking to eachother. Khanak Geet and Pinky were too.

PRECAP: Rishi finds out about engagement and is angered. Maan and Geet wedding happens. (just to end speculation. Yes it happens but after marriage is when the real problem starts)
