Armaan was mad as hell and frustrated and wanted to kill the beast himself.
Armaan 'Muskaan you don't have to come to office for a few days. Take care of Ridhima and leave the rest to me. I will see to it that beast rots in hell. Try and talk to Ridhima about giving the statement. Try to find out why isn't she interested in giving her statement.'
Muskaan 'thank you Armaan. Don't worry I will be coming to office tomorrow.'
Armaan 'If you will come to office tomorrow then who will take care of Ridhima. Don't worry I can manage without you for a few days.'
Muskaan 'ok thanks once again Armaan.'
Armaan 'don't you ever think of thanking me again.'
Muskaan 'yes boss' smiling despite the problem.
Armaan could not sleep at night thinking what kind of man is Sidharth 'who behaves like this with their life partner. Armaan was pacing around like a caged tiger who couldn't do a thing unless and until Ridhima will give her statement. He wanted to see the beast crying for mercy who gave so much pain to his friend and her angel sister. Armaan could not get the image Ridhima lying so lifeless, so frightened, so fragile. It kept haunting him whole of the night the way Ridhima was crying and the way she was saying 'don't beat me Sidharth I will do everything you say.'
Next day he contacted the best lawyers in town to work on Ridhima's case. He knew he was going beyond limits and have not consulted Muskaan for it but he wanted Ridhima free from Sidharth's clutches as soon as possible. He felt he have to do this much for Muskaan and flso for the sake of humanity. Everyday evening for a few days he used to visit Muskaan and was relieved to hear that Ridhima was recovering slowly but she was not at all ready to give her statement against Sidharth. Everyday she used to scream in her dreams and once got more afraid seeing Armaan in the room. So he never used to go in front of her.
After two weeks Ridhima healed fully from outside but within she was sore. She started trusting Armaan and was friendly with him within a few days. He used to talk to her help her in walking properly, took both Muskaan and Ridhima for outings but always felt that Ridhima never opened up freely with him.
One evening when he went to Muskaan's apartment he rang bell many times but no one answered. He felt a wave of panick. Then he thought he was worrying for no reason. Muskaan and Ridhima must have gone out. He went back and sat in his car and was about to drive back to his apartment when his mobile phone rang . He checked the caller id and saw it was Muskaan. Smiling he picked up the phone and was horror struck when he heard Muskaan crying hysterically and unable to speak anything clearly.
Armaan ' Muskaan what happened ? why are you crying? Where are you? Stopping crying and tell me what happened. I am not able to understand a word.'
Muskaan 'Armaan where are you? '
Armaan 'Muskaan I am outside you apartment. I rang the bell but no one answered. Where are you?'
Muskaan' Armaan was that you outside my apartment. Come inside I will open the door.'
Armaan 'ok.'
When Muskaan opened the door she quickly drew in Armaan and shut the door abruptly. She was shaking and crying badly. Panic rose in Armaan and couldn't find Ridhima. He was worried what if something wrong had happened. He asked Muskaan what was it? Why was she crying?
Muskaan ' he was here Armaan. Sidharth came her to take back Ridhima. When I refused to open the door he started banging the door and calling bad names loudly. He said he is watching us and won't leave without taking Ridhima back with her. I could feel him him try talking to other people in the building to ask me to open the gate. When Ridhima heard his face she panicked and fainted . I didn't knew how to manage him. So I locked the door and took care of Ridhima. Right now she is sleeping in her room. I have given her sedatives so that she can sleep soundly. I am very afraid Armaan. I don't know what to do. So when you knocked on the door I thought he has come back. So I remembered if I will call police he will say that no one can stop him from taking his wife home. So I thought of calling you and somehow I knew you will be here to help us. Tell me Armaan what should I do. I cannot allow to go back with that beast.'
Armaan was angry beyong limits how dare Sidharth trouble the two angels of his life. He will soon have to deal with Sidharth otherwise Muskaan and Ridhima wont be safe. H e will have to think of a way but right now his priority is to get Muskaan and Ridhima to a safe place. So without giving a single thought he set into action .
Armaan ' Muskaan pack yours and Ridhima's thing. You both are going with me. I can't afford to loose my two best friends. I don't want to hear anything. Just pack your bags. You are not coming back here until and unless I get that Sidharth behind bars.'
Then he took out his phone and dialed his best friend Atul's no.
Armaan ' hi Atul , Armaan here,. Listen I don't have time for formalities I need a favour and its urgent. Listen I am giving you an address reach there as soon as possible and see to it there is not one around lurking behind any thing and keeping an eye on this address. I will explain you later on what is going on. Ya reach fast as soon as you can. Inform me when you have made a thorough check.'
