Part 55 (Epilogue): Happily Ever After😍

6 months later:

"I don't want to hear anything! You three need to spend some sibling time alone. Angad needs to leave Kripa alone." Avantika scolded. Daksh giggled at Angad's expression. "You too Daksh...you've become just as mischievous as Angad."

Riddhima sighed. "But why can't you all just come with us?"

Kripa: I need to stay home with the kids...besides you three never got time to spend time alone. Come on guys. Listen to mummy ji.

Angad: yea but what are Simone and Kanya going to do at home?

Simone came to the rescue. "Kanya and I are going shopping."

"Ahh okay. We'll go for the dinner, right Angad?" Daksh said. Angad just nodded. Anything to avoid shopping.

Riddhima wanted to go shopping so she looked at Armaan who widened his eyes.

"Don't even think about it. I'm going to bed. Too tired." He feigned a yawn.

Riddhima sulked but walked out with Angad and Daksh anyways. The family had made arrangements for the three to have a nice dinner together. Except...they were leaving at 9 pm and their reservation was for 10 pm. The drive there should take that long.

Once they heard the car zooming out of the driveway, the wheels started spinning in the house.

"Armaan...did you'"Kripa started but got interrupted.

"Done and done sister. They won't have enough gas to come back home. No gas station in the vicinity. They're going to call one of us to go pick them up."

Kripa: great. Kanya...Balloons. Simone...streamers. Armaan and Ranbir...move the furniture. I'm going to take care of the gift wrapping. Dad is taking care of Aditi and Aditya. Mom is taking care of the food....Kanan di and jiju...oh my gosh...we forgot to tell Kanan di and jiju!"

Armaan: jeesh woman. Will you take a breath? They're coming a little later remember?

Kripa: that's right...I'm just freaking out...what if this fails...

Armaan: if that master plan for Naina and Prithvi didn't fail eight months ago...this isn't going to fail. It's a simple surprise birthday party. Just relax.

Kanya: are you and Simone going to tell us what gift you're giving Angad and Daksh?

"Nope" Kripa and Simone replied simultaneously. They were up to something that no one in the house knew about. They were being tricky about it. Of course they couldn't ask Angad, Riddhima, or Daksh for help. It was their surprise gift after all.

That's why the triplets had been kicked out so the rest could set up the house for the party. As far as the party throwers knew, the triplets didn't remember their birthday. They hadn't mentioned it at all.

By 11:30pm, the entire house was fully decorated, ready for the birthday party for Angad, Daksh, and Riddhima. And just as expected, the phone rang five minutes later. Armaan answered.

Armaan: hello??

"Hey, it's Angad. So the car's out of gas and there is no gas station around...can you send someone to pick us up?"

Armaan smirked and gave thumbs up to Kripa. "Alright...I'm sending dad. Everyone else is pretty much asleep and I don't feel too well."

"Sure. We're just 10 minutes from the restaurant. There are no cabs what so ever."

"Chill buddy. He'll be there soon. And hey listen....take care of my wife for me."

"Shut up Armaan. Your wife is my sister. I'll protect her from you if I have to. Send dad quick." Angad laughed.

After Armaan hung up, Dilip ran out to the car, Kripa put Aditya and Aditi in carriages in the living room. The cake was brought into the centre of the room. All lights but the regular night lights were turned off. Then the wait started. About half an hour later, right as the clock chimed for midnight, they heard a car coming to a stop in the driveway. Everyone shuffled around to their hiding spots while Armaan and Ranbir were ready at the light switches to flick them on the moment they entered.

Riddhima's voice echoes through the dark and quiet. "Oh wow. It's so quiet...is EVERYONE asleep??"

Just then, Armaan and Daksh flicked the lights on and the hiding family members jumped out screaming 'surprise'. Simone, Kanya, and Kripa popping balloons full of confetti and glitter over the triplets' heads.

"What the'oh." Daksh said astonished.

"Happy Birthday!!" Everyone sang in chorus. After lots of group hugs and birthday wishes, they were brought to the cake. Kripa used a match to light one of the blue candles while Simone lit the other blue one. Armaan lit the sole pink candle and smiled at Riddhima.

Angad, Riddhima, and Daksh blew out the candles, held the knife and cut the cake. After they were fed cake from every family member and vice versa, came the time for gifts.

Armaan presented Riddhima with a simple diamond necklace and gave Angad and Daksh some technology gadget each. Along with blessings, Avantika and Dilip present each child of theirs with a chain and pendant of their first name's initial. The others also gave some gift and then everyone looked at Simone and Kripa.

Armaan: can we know NOW what you got them??

Kripa: there is an evening gown for Riddhima...There is a watch embedded in a gold car for Daksh and for Angad....something special.

Simone: yeap...For Riddhima I got her a diamond bracelet...for Angad...It's a new cell phone...he really needs to replace his old one and for Daksh...

Armaan: let me guess...something special.

Simone nodded, making Armaan roll his eyes. Kripa and Simone exchanged a look and then each took out an envelope from under the tray that held the cake. Simone handed one to Daksh and Kripa handed one to Armaan. After a lot of exchanges of puzzled looks, they opened the envelopes and started reading. A minute later, both got up, ran to their wives, lifted them and twirled them around. Riddhima picked up the two letters that Angad and Daksh had dropped and read them.

Then she screamed, making everyone jump. She ran up the stairs, confusing everyone and then came back with an envelope in her hand.

"Okay so....I hadn't forgotten the birthdays but I was going to surprise you all with this. But you guys have surprised us so I guess my surprise has to come out like this. Armaan...this is my return gift to you."

Armaan took the envelope, tore it open impatiently, wanting to know what the heck was in these that was making everyone act so weird. A minute later, he had joined the weirdness.

While Armaan, Angad, and Daksh were showing endless love and affection, along with gratitude, to their wives, the others just watched, annoyed and confused.

"Will someone tell us what's going on??" Dilip complained.

"I'm becoming a DAD!!!!" Armaan and Daksh screamed simultaneously.

A few more celebrations and cheers later, the eyes settled on Angad and Kripa.

"Angad...you..." Avantika left her sentence incomplete.

"Yeap...Becoming a daddy....again." He beamed.

Once all the excitement and cheers had settled down, everyone sat around, talking and planning for three babies on the way. Soon after Kanya-Ranbir and Nishant-Kanan headed home with Palak, the rest of the family members retired to their rooms.

Daksh-Simone:

Daksh: so you and Kripa planned all this?

Simone: pretty much...we thought why not try to have our babies close together...you and Angad are twins...so we were thinking that we should have my first baby and her third around the same time...

Daksh: well that explains all the seduction

Simone turned a beet root red and hid her face in the curve of his neck.

"Thank you Simone. I'll have to thank Kripa for this too. Sounds like an idea she would have."

Simone chuckled and nodded.

Daksh: by the way...I found out something from Angad and Riddhima....How come you never told me that you could sing?

Simone didn't answer. She just shrugged. Daksh pulled her away and looked into her eyes.

Daksh: will you sing something for me, Simone?

Simone: You first.

Daksh smiled and nodded. He was happy enough to sing today. Besides, his love had requested it.

Simone hugged him close enough to feel his heart thumping in his chest. In the room next to theirs, Armaan and Riddhima chuckled listening to Daksh and Simone sing.

Riddhima: aw...I'm glad Bhai did something romantic. You know, That's what our discussion was rotating around today at the dinner. Angad gave him some tips to be romantic and what not. Soon, Simone's going to be just like Kripa...trying to run from her mischievous husband.

Armaan raised an eyebrow. "do you run from me?"

Riddhima rolled her eyes. "Is that a trick question? Gosh, Kripa and I have to keep our distance from you and Angad...otherwise you two would start romancing in front of the entire family...

Armaan: It's just our way of showing love...

Riddhima: really now...let's see how much you really love me Armaan...

Armaan: I'll do Anything.

"Sing for me." Riddhima smirked. Armaan gave her a smug smile as if he knew that that's exactly what she would ask for.

Armaan Kissed her neck, then her stomach where his baby was slowly becoming alive.

Kripa let out a sigh of satisfaction. Since the moment she had found out Prithvi and Naina's reality, her life was dedicated to hard work to bring her loved ones closer to the ones they loved. Daksh and Simone were together, and expecting. Armaan and Riddhima had fallen in love, gotten married, and now they were expecting too. Avantika and Dilip had their entire family together again. At last, She was with the man she has been in love with her entire life, with their twins and another sibling for them on his way.

She didn't realize she was weeping with joy until Angad wiped a tear from her face.

Angad: Aw don't cry my love. I'll sing for you too...

Kripa laughed and ran her fingers through his hair. "they're tears of happiness stupid. Everything is perfect now."

Angad: And we'll all work together and make sure it stays perfect, Kripa. And I promise you...No matter what happens....I won't leave you...Ever.

Kripa cupped his cheek. "I know you won't. You love us all too much."

"That's right. I do." Angad said before he bent down kissed her.

"I thought you were going to sing for me too." Kripa pouted once he let her go. Angad beamed a smile at her.

"I noticed that Daksh and Armaan sang before Simone and Riddhima...why don't we do something different....You sing first." Angad smirked.
