They drifted apart and Sid looked away while Riddhima walked towards the window. The connection ws felt by both of thm. Riddhima looked away frm Sid outside the window whereas Sid tried nt to look at Riddhima bt frm time to time his gaze fell upon her. Thoughts were flowing through Sid's head. Tamanna and all sorts of things bt fr tht one moment he shut all those thoughts. He decided to go ahead with wht he ws abt to say. To tell Riddhima on wht he ws going through.
Riddhima: tumhey yahan seh jaana chahiye. (didnt look behind to Sid)
Sid: chala jaaoonga leken ussey pehley main tumhey kuch bata naa chahta hoon. Main nahin jaanta keh pyar kya hai. I mean kal tak joh Tamanna keh liye tha wahi pyar tha par agar woh pyar hai toh phir yeh kya hai.
(Riddhima looks back and sees clear guilt on Sid's face. Riddhima comes forward. Her brain tells her nt to go ahead, nt to stay by his side bt as usual her heart ws the stronger contender and she walks by Sid's side. The look on Sid's face gave a her thousand reasons to hug him bt knowing wht Sid wud feel after her embrace she held back. She put her hand on his shoulder and he looked up to her with misery in his eyes. )
Sid: Main koshish karta hoon tumseh door rehney ki. Tumseh alag honey ki. Leken har baar....Its jst so frustrating...I mean ur my wife aur phir Tamanna bhi meri zimedari hai... Main kya karoon?
Riddhima: Sid main tumhari zimedari nahin hoon. Tumhey joh chahiye tum wahi karo.
(They were both sitting on the floor and she holds his hand)
Riddhima: tum yeh haath ussi ki taraf baraogey jis sey tum pyar kartey ho. Jiski tum qadar kartey ho. Jiskey honey naa honey seh sirf tumseh farq hi nahin balkey dard ho.
(Sid looks into her eyes deeply. Trying to decipher wht she hid. He cudnt believe tht she ws letting go of him. He tried to smile bt he cudnt. He cudnt speak. He ws in utter shock and disbelief. Riddhima jst read through him like a clear glass. Jst in tht one speck of moment. She knew wht he ws going through and said exactly wht wud make him feel better. Sid decided in tht moment tht Riddhima ws the girl infront of whom he'd never fear breaking dwn because he knew she cud piece together. He knew he cud share anything with her and he knew tht no matter wht he hid frm others its nt the same with Riddhima.)
Riddhima: Aur abh tumhey sona pareyga cuz tomorrow Shimla keh Sanjeevani mein aapka conference hai. Its ur big day to shine.
Sid: Can I tell u one little thing.
Riddhima: yh?
Sid: tum ghussey mein achi lagti ho.
Riddhima (smiles): I know.
Sid: u know? itna confidence?
Riddhima: bhulakar! yeh pehley bhi kaha hai!
Sid(laughing): my bad!
Riddhima: abh tum jaawoh warna kal utt nahin pawoh gey!
Sid: come on! Abhi tak toh raat bhi puri nahi hui and ur kicking me out!
(Riddhima raises an eyebrow)
Sid: mera matlab hai keh mainey abhi tak peth bhar key khana tak nahin kaya aur tum mujhe bhej rahi ho
(Her eyebrow ws still raised)
Sid: oh hello iss zyada explanation mill ney wala hai nahin! tum wahi larki hona jis mujhe agwa kiya tha!
Riddhima: Arrey! tumhey itna yaad hai toh yeh bhi yaad dila doon keh uss din mera pati kissi TAM seh shaadi karney wala tha!
Sid(laughing at *TAM*): toh kya bhuk seh mar daalney ka irada hai?
Riddhima: jst come and have something!
(A big smile etched across Sid's face as he glided past Riddhima to the dinner table. Riddhima thn smiled amidst her anger. Sid stopped in midway seeing her. He ws caught by the way Riddhima smiled inher chudail mood.)
Sid: Can I tell u something?
Riddhima: yh?
Sid: tum jab ghussey main smile karti ho toh! (he lightly punches his chest)
Riddhima: pata hai
Sid: yeh bhi bata diya hoga
Riddhima: abh chalein?
Dinner scene (SR)
Sid: Raajma chawal?! U know wht?! nahin tumhey toh already pata hoga.
Riddhima (smiling confidently): tummhari favourite hai.
(Sid tries nt to smile bt fails miserably and he decides to focus more on eating. After eating he looks to the TV and Riddhima glares at him)
Riddhima: Sid nahin!
Sid: Please Riddhima todi deir ke liye
Riddhima: yeh tumharey room mein bhi hai!
Sid (annoyed and frustrated): leken tum toh nahin ho!
Riddhima: kya?
Sid: mujhe shayad jaana chahiye.
Riddhima: agar tum jaatey hi so nahin gaye toh there is no way u wud gt ready on time tomorrow!
(Sid hears her warning bt dsnt listen to it. Next morning he wakes up late and hurries to out of his room in pyjamas with no shirt bt a vest to wake Riddhima up!
He goes out of his room to find Riddhima waiting outside, She ws tapping her right foot on the floor, running out of patience)
Sid: we're late?
Riddhima: nahin toh! actually tum toh time seh pehley uttey ho! KALKEY conference ke liye!
Sid: very funny!
Riddhima: aisey jaaney ka irada hai kya?
(Sid looks dwn and Riddhima shakes her head. She grabs his hand and pulls him in)
Riddhima: kapre kahan hai?
(as she scans the room. She finds lumps of clothes every where!)
Riddhima: tum really kal raat seh yahan reh rahey ho?
Sid: kyun?
Riddhima: tumharey kapre aisey bhikre hain jaisey kaheen mahino seh yahan ho.
Sid: ohh acha woh kapre wash nahin huey aur woh wash huey hain par iron nahin kiya hai mainey.. And finally tht one is all washed and ironed!
Riddhima: aur A,B aur C grade kapre ek suitcase mein they?
Sid (uncertain): yes.
(Riddhima picks up a white shirt and a trouser and tells him to wear)
Sid(raises an eyebrow): white?
Riddhima: u think its dull bt I think it looks good on u! and we had argued abt this whn u had ur yaadasht! so dnt do it again!
Sid: bt I dnt like white!
Riddhima: And I dnt like u with TAM! par ka main complain kar rahi hoon?
Sid: nahin par ussey bichari ka jo naam bigar diya woh alag baat hai.
Riddhima: naam bigara hai?
Sid: itney pyar seh jo tum TAM kehti ho! Pyar ubhar ubhar keh nazar aata hai!
Riddhima: Get Dressed!
(Sid goes in and gts dressed)
(On the way off the lobby of the hotel Riddhima's dupatta gts stuck on Sid's shirt)
Sid: abh tum slowly aagy awogi aur dupattey ko choraney mein probelem hogi aur phir hoga eyelock. Aur complete romantic scene!
(Riddhima pulls her dupatta without going close which rips and makes a loud ripping sound.)
Sid: romantic ka toh nahin pata par scene zaroor banaa beech bazaar mein!
(Sid and Riddhima gt inside the car and they park outside Sanjeevani. Sid's button were torn and nurses walking by kept loking back at his almost bare chest. Jealousy grew in Riddhima which ws obvious on her face. Sid's grin grew in size when he noticed this.)
Riddhima: buttons band bhi saktey ho.
Sid (he bends to Riddhima's ear): buttons hotey toh zaroor baand leyta. Waisey mainey notice kiya.
Riddhima: kya?
Sid: keh un nurses ney mujhe notice kiya aur tumney unhey notice kiya.
Riddhima: keep dreaming!
Sid: u look so cute when ur all angry!
(Riddhima pulls his shirt and tries to tie it with a pin)
Riddhima: aur tum bare chest mein bilkul achi nahin lagtey!
(Sid holds her hands in position)
Sid: really? nahin lagta?
Riddhima: nahin
(he dsnt let her tie it and comes close to her. She pulls back bt he dsnt let her and puts one of his arms around her waist)
Sid: nahin lag raha?
Riddhima: bilkul nahin!
(he comes a step closer)
Sid: abh bhi nahin?
Riddhima (looks dwn): abh bhi nahin.
Sid (cups her chin and gently pulls it up): nahin?
(before she could reply the crowd around them in the parking lot claps and they both notice the crowd around thm and pull back. Riddhima walks away quickly and Sid stands there breathing heavily and absorbgin wht had jst happened)
