Next day she is standing at the same place in the same dark night.

She hears the sound of some uncoordinated footsteps approach towards her.

She knows its him.

She moves her head to look at the side.

And, she sees him.

He is in his formals; shirt , trouser, tie & a coat hanging through the tip of his finger.

He is drunk like every day..very drunk. Its not an unusual sight, she knows. His eyes are bloodshot red, his jet black hair are ruffled, his tie is hanging loosely from his neck, his face is flushed due to his excessive alcohol intake & he is holding a half filled bottle of a drink that looks like some alcohol he had been drinking.

But whatever his appearance was , she was thankful that he helped her the other day.

He was finding it difficult to walk, he was staggering badly trying to keep his balance.

He would occasionally sway & stumble into things.

She didn't feel scared in front of him, but was feeling unsure seeing him this state.

She knew he would just pass her , nor speak to her nor bother her.

She always thought that he was so drunk that he never noticed her existence, but yesterday she knew that he was aware of her but never ever , nor even once did he even try to disturb her in any way in this drunk stupor too.

He was walking with full concentration, trying to coordinate his steps gulping more from his bottle.

He reaches close to her.

She looks at him with unsurely & pressed her lips.

k-hi !

he looks up at her.

She knew his eyes had something, the depth his eyes had was indescribable, those eyes could melt anyone's heart.

He could speak through his eyes & his eyes were depicting sorrow & loneliness.

She smiles a bit as he looks at her.

He raises his hand a bit to answer her 'hi'.

But he somewhat loses his balance.

k-oh !

he somehow balances himself again.

He looks at her as her face has a small frown of concern.

She looks down.

k-emm'kashish'.

s-huh?

He puckers his brows in a questioning manner.

he looks at him unsurely with her big wide eyes, which look more innocent & beautiful when she is confused.

He gives a slight nod to convey that he understood.

She smiles a bit at this.

She shakes her head.

she is a bit perplexed at his reaction. While he takes a large swig.

he lifts his hand & waves frantically in an uncoordinated manner, while shaking badly.

She climbs her bus & goes , while wondering 'sujal garewal' ye naam suna suna lag raha hai.
