Finally his patience gave up nd he pulled her away from himself in a jerk. Dis is wen Geet realizes wat she's doing; hugging a stranger in a dark room expecting him to save her. But dere's a sense of safety in his arms. Though he didn't hugged her back yet in d warmth of his embrace she felt safe. She looked closely at him to see d face of d person who made her feel safe. Just den d lights came back nd Geet saw d face of d person who was looking irritatingly at her.

"Maan Sir" she mumbled slowly as she found him looking at her angrily as if she had committed a biggest crime by hugging him. Now only god knows hw will he react on her sudden action. Will he understand d need of d situation dat led her to hug him all of a sudden?

Maan wanted to give some dictations to Geet but wen he called her on intercom she didn't recd. D call, later he looked at her cabin thru his cabin nd found it all empty. His anger knew no bounds seeing such carelessness from her. He immediately stormed out from his cabin wen a peon was almost collided wid him. Maan gives an angry glare to him for his clumsiness. Poor Peon gulped down his saliva in fear nd silently prayed to god to be saved from d wrath of his boss.

Nd it seems dat God listened to him as Maan's first priority is to give a piece of mind to his new secretary Geet Handa. From peon he came to know dat she has gone towards Archive nd within no tym he too headed over dere.

When he entered inside d room he found it all dark nd before he could understand anything he heard d sounds of falling of racks nd files. He dnt have to guess dat who is over here. It can only be Geet as acc to him wherever she is a disaster follows her.

"Geet, Geet r u dere?" he tried calling her but she didn't replied to him as dat tym she was busy in running nd finding a way to escape. Maan felt frustrated due to her ignorance nd without knowing anything he decided to give her a tough punishment for her behaviour. He was about to yell again wen he felt someone bump into him causing her to fall. Automatically his arms wrapped around her waist to prevent her from falling. Nd wen he realized dat he was actually holding a girl whom he hated d most he immediately pulled her up wid a jerk making her stand.

Before he could say anything to her she hugged him tight as if her lyf dependent on him. His body stiffened due to her sudden action not knowing wat to do at dis situation.

"Pls…. Pls save me…… Pls." he heard her mumbling dis continuously but did not know from whom she wants to be saved.

"Is she crying, but y nd y is she continuously mumbling to save her? Whom she wanted to be saved?" he thought as he felt his shirt getting wet due to her tears. He wanted to hug her back, to sooth her fears but soon his mind empowered him nd he felt it all an act of hers. He tried to pull her out from his embrace. But more he tried to pull her out from hug more she hold him tight to herself.

Finally his patience gave up nd pulled her out his embrace. The audacity of dis girl, trying to trap him in her antics. But Maan Singh Khurana is an impossible task for her, he thought. Just before he was going to shout at her he found her staring at him. The look in her eyes was sumthing dat he can't understand.

Dere was fear in dem but beside fear dere was sumthing dat he couldn't name of. Something very similar which he had noticed sumwhere before but where dat he couldn't remember. Just den d lights came nd he had mask his anxiety nd restlessness behind his anger nd looked at her who was looking at her wid lots of hope in her eyes.

"Keep Ur reasons wid u only Ms. Handa because I m least interested as I knw it very well dat dis is nothing but another act by you" he said while gritting his teeth.

"Sir, its not……" she tried to explain him dat whatever he was thinking is wrong only to be interrupted by him again.

"Enough Ms. Handa, I dnt want to listen any useless story by u. nd by the way wat will u say ha, dat u got scared datsy u hugged me. Oh C'mon Geet, Ur this story can work on those men who can't see d truth behind Ur innocence but Maan Singh Khurana is not in one of dem. I very well know d girls like u who use to trap rich people wid their charms but let me tell u Geet dat dis tym u r approaching a wrong man. Dose r other men who can fall for Ur charm. Geet's eyes welled up in tears listening to his words. Hw low does he think about her. He thinks dat her fear, her helplessness is an act. She cursed herself for having any kind of hope in him. Back is nw leaving no chance to humiliate her. well, hw can she expect anything from him Afterall he's also d part of dis world only who leaves no stones unturned to make ur Life hell. She's scared, she's helpless but still she can't tolerate anyone pointing on her character nd his words has just added fuel to the fire nd finally she wipes away her tears nd burst out

"Enough! I m listening to u but dat doesn't mean dat u can say whatever u want. Nd for Ur kind information Mr. Maan Singh Khurana I very well know d distance between an employee nd Boss. U dnt have to bother to teach me dat. nd as far as ur allegations r concerned den I told u before also nd again saying dat I dnt know among wat kind of gals u have been around but as far as I m concerned I m definitely not in one of dem nd u had no right to point ur finger on my character. But u wont understand it because The person who is so full of himself can never understand others nd I m not expecting any such thing also from you. You are not a prince charming dat m dyeing to be in Ur arms. Nd from next tym I'll make sure dat if I land up in any kind of problem den u will be d last person to whom I'll approach for any kind of help. So nw if ur Allegations r over den can we get back to work 'Maan Sir'." she said while stressing on d last word nd went to pick up d files dat has been fallen from her hands leaving Maan behind dumbfounded.

His hands turned into fists as he realized dat dis girl has actually answered him back. Whole world scared to even stand in front of him nd here dis girl has audacity to answer him back. He clenched his jaws in anger nd was about to say sumthing wen he notices her cuming towards him wid a determination on her face.

She walked beside him towards d door but before she goes out she stops for a while nd looked at Maan from d corner of her eyes who was standing facing his back towards her

"U'll get ur coffee in half an hour as u said 'Maan Sir'. I knw my work very well." Saying dis she stormed out from dere leaving Maan behind baffled.

As soon as Geet reaches her cabin, she dropped d files on table nd ran towards Washroom. She was still panting heavily nd her breathing has still nt normal. She looks herself in d mirror only to find a scared Geet looking back at her. The Archive incident was still fresh in her mind nd continuously reminding her of her past. She washed her face wid d water countless tymes to erase dat memory from d past nd concentrate on future but nothing was helping. Nd den Maan's word just added more pain to her wounded heart.

She wonder dat hw can anyone be so stone-hearted dat rather den understanding d situation he was ready to accuse her of sumthing which she cant even think in her wildest dreams. She did take a stand in front of him dat tym but only she knows in what kind of vulnerable condition was she in at dat moment. She just closed her eyes in pain wen she reminds of Maan's words. Just den her father's words buzz in her mind

"The path in which u had decided to go is not easy"

She snapped open her eyes as soon as she reminded of dose words. Wasn't she was knows it already? Haven't she decided dat she'll face every obstacles, will fight from d whole world? Den hw can she affected by anyone's words nd especially of Maan's who had no connection wid her lyf.

No she shouldn't be affected wid his words. She had came Delhi for a purpose nd she'll not get weak in dat. No memory of her past can make her weak nw. she'll face each nd every person whether it's Maan or anyone else. Nd anyways she has to work here for atleast 6 months nd she already knows dat Maan will leave no stone unturned to make her life hell; Thanx to her hatredness towards Girls. Determining dis she washed her face once again nd moves out towards d pantry to make coffee for him.

On the other side Maan too comes in his Cabin angrily. This girl is really beyond his understanding. Everytym he meets her he sees d new side of her. few mins back she was scared like anything nd den she had guts to answer him back. Geet's words nd behaviour were continuously buzzing in his mind. No one has ever raised his/her voice in front of him nd dis girl always answers him back wenever dey met. Be it their first meeting or at Mandir or today at Archive.

"Nd from next tym I'll make sure dat if I land up in any kind of problem den u will be d last person to whom I'll approach for any kind of help".

He just bangs his fist hard on d table as soon as he reminded of her words. Hw dare she to say to him like dat. she has definitely done d biggest mistake of her lyf by answering Maan Singh Khurana like dat.

"You have to pay for this Ms. Geet Handa, You really have to pay hard" he said with determination in his voice nd gets seated in his chair while resting his head on it.

He closes his eyes nd as soon as he closes his eyes Geet's scared eyes flash in front of him. He snapped his eyes open as soon as remembered his eyes. Dere was fear in dem no doubt nd dat he could say due to sudden darkness in d room but dere was sumthing else too. May be hope or may be pain or sumthing else on which he couldn't put his finger on. Her eyes seem familiar to him. The emotions dat he has seen today in her eyes he felt dat he had seen before too but where dat he was not able to remember.

Den he remembers her mumbling while hugging, her shaking voice, her petrified cond. As if she was in great kind of danger, but what nd from whom is she trying to save from. Had he done anything wrong by behaving lyk dis wid her? May be she was really scared, may be dat was not an act. His heart says dat the emotions in her eyes was not an act. But soon his mind overpowered him again ignoring wat his heart was saying

"Shut Up Maan! Wat are u thinking? It was all an act. She's a girl Afterall nd all dese things are d strongest weapons of dem by using which dey trap others. Dnt fall for her act Maan dnt fall" he thought nd looked at her cabin only to find it empty again.

"u had no idea Geet wat trouble u had called for urself. just wait nd watch" he said while busy planning her punishment in his mind

Here in the pantry Geet was making his coffee. Thanx to Pinky dat she knows it already the type of Coffee he likes. Pinky told her as soon as she got her appointment letter so dere is no problem in it. But her mind was wandering sumwhere else. The archive incidence was again nd again flashing in front of her eyes. She can't believe herself dat she has became so vulnerable at dat tym. She knows it very well dat it was all her past nd present is dat she's here in Delhi which had no relation wid her past yet she got scared. Dis way she can never be able to fight dis battle. No she has to be strong. Just wen she was lost in her thoughts Pinky came to pantry to meet her. She came to know from Adi dat Maan has not thrown her out from job so she thought of congratulating her. But as soon as she enters inside Pantry she saw her lost in her own thoughts. She places her hand on her shoulder to which Geet startled a bit.

Pinky: Geet, kya hua? Tu theek to hai Na?

"Ya I m fine" she said slowly while calming herself

"No something is wrong. Tell me wat happened? Did Maan sir said sumthing to u?" she asked getting concerned for her. Geet knows her friend very well. She knows dat Pinky is always dis much concerned wen it comes to her, but rite nw she cant tell anything to her as she'll get worried unnecessarily.

"No Pinky m perfectly fine. Wo actually it's my first day at work na so m just bit tired dats it." Geet said while trying her best to assure her

Pinky: R u sure?

Geet: ya Pinky. Acha nw dnt disturb me. I m making Coffee for dat Dusht Daanav

Pinky: Dusht Daanav?

"Arey wahi Ur so called DD?" she said wid annoyed face while still preparing his coffee

Pinky: o god Geet! He's not dat bad yaar. I mean he do gets angry at tymes but he's really hot yaar.

Geet immediately stopped preparing d coffee nd turned to kook at her. Pinky gulped down her saliva seeing her angry glare.

"I mean he's gud but not dat gud. Ok ok types u knw" she said while trying her best to be saved from her Friend's wrath.

"Better" she said nd started preparing d coffee again.

Pinky: waise Geet, tujhe DD se itni problem kya hai?

Geet: Pinky I dnt have any problem wid him but it seems he had a big Problem wid me. He really needs no chance to humiliate me. Kabhi Kabhi to mann karta hai ki I mix salt in his coffee instead of sugar.

She said while banging her hand on d platform. Pinky jumps in fear seeing her outburst.

"Hey Geet relax yaar… Calm down. Easy sweetie…. Breath in, breath out." She said while calming her down. Geet takes a deep breath nd again looks at her

"Pinky if one more tym u'll talk about ur DD na den I swear I'll put extra salt in ur tea, samjhi" she said while putting sugar in d coffee nd warning her at d same tym nd in vain she didn't realized dat she had put Salt in d mug which was dere nearby without realizing.

Pinky saw dis nd her eyes widen in horror. She knows dat Geet didn't realize it yet but if she haven't told her nw den Maan will not leave her. In d meanwhile Geet finished wid d coffee nd took d mug in her hand nd turned to moves outside. Pinky realizes dat she needs to stop her soon before she does any other blunder

"Geet sun to" she said while stopping her

"Kya hai Pinky let me go. Warna ek min. bhi late hua Na den Ur DD will not leave chance to yell at me." She said irritatingly nd again turned to leave

"Geet, one min. Wo DD…" she tried once again only to be interrupted by Geet once again

"Pinky I warned u Na if one more tym u'll talk about Ur DD den no one will be worse den me. So stop chanting about Ur DD nd let me go" she said quickly storms out before Pinky can say anything further

"Hey Babaji! Geet ye tune kya kar diya. I just wanted to say dat u had added salt in place of sugar. Tu to aaj gayi, nw only god can save u from DD" she said to herself while silently praying to god for her well being nd goes out from d pantry too

But dere was someone else also who had watched d whole scenario. It was Sasha along wid her tail Tasha who had witnessed d whole salt fiasco nd nw eagerly waiting for Maan's reaction on it

Tasha: Sasha… Mera matlab hai Ma'am did u saw. She had put salt in d coffee instead of sugar. DD would be very angry nw

"yup Tasha I saw nd nw even I m waiting for MK's reaction, waise I dnt think dat I need to work hard in throwing dis behenji out of d office becoz she's hell bent in ditching her own grave. In morning she had an argument wid Mk nd nw salty coffee. She has guts to answer me back na nw I'll see hw will she escape from MK's temper. Poor Geet mujhe uske liye bahut bura lag raha hai" she said while faking sympathy towards her wid a evil smirk on her face.
