Part # 6

At night'..Adil returns home'..he first enters his room silently'.so that he doesn't wake Ashna up'.after changing his clothes'he goes on to check his mom''she was still awake'.for him!!

Adil: Aapne khaana khaya?? (she nods in a yes) Aur dawayi? (she again nods in a yes) Thank you'.abhi aap so jaiye'I promise main kha lunga'.

But she didn't agree'.she wanted to watch him having his meal'.

Adil: Aapko mujhpe nazar rakhne ki zarurat nahi hai Mom'.maine kaha na'.khaa lunga''yakeen nahi hai MERI baat par?

At this his mom has a frown on her face'.and quite unwillingly she lies down to sleep''while he covers her wid the blanket'..but as he starts to get up''he feels his head spinning''but he somehow gets a hold on himself'.he didn't want his mon to knw he was not feeling well'..he looks back at her to find her staring at him wid a questioning look'.

Adil: Why r u staring mom?? Aankhein kholke sona hai kya?? Nahi na'..then close ur eyes'.(but she still has that questioning look'..and now she asks if he was f9)'.Of course'.am f9'.aur agar aap chahti hai main f9 rahu'.then c'mon jaldi se so jaiye'.otherwise mujhe yehi baithe baithe apki nigrani karni hogi'and guess that's not gonna let me hav my dinner!!

Hearing this words'.she just shakes her head'.He surely knew to deal wid her'.she slowly closed her eyes'.and after a few moments'.Adil left her room.

As Adil looked towards the dining table'.he found the food kept for him. He was seriously not interested in having his meal'..he just wished to lie down a bit'.but however he cud not go bak on his words'.he slightly had sum food'.and then took sum medicine so that he feels better!! As he lies down'.he feels his eyes getting heavy'..and soon drifts off to sleep.

In the morning Ashna wakes up to find Adil still sleeping. She was surprised as he wud always wake up before her'.in fact he wud be ready for office by now''And then it struck to her''perhaps he was having high fever by now'..so she checked his forehead'..to realize that she was right!!

Maine to kal hi kaha tha'..ghar jaa ke araam karne ko'..but no why wud HE listen to sumone?? Ab bhugto'.huh!! (after a pause) May be I shud call a doctor'.

After a while'.a doctor comes to check on Adil'.and Adil was literally shocked to find a doctor for him'..he just stares at Ashna'..who seemed oblivious of his gaze''she was concentrating on the doctor's words''and so he also thought of listening to the doctor'..The doc was saying sumthing like'."Adil was extremely fatigued'..and over-stressed'..he shud take care of himself and take rest for a while" ''.Adil was seriously irritated to hear his words'..and finally much to his relief'..the doc gets up to leave!!

But as the doc leaves'.and Ashna was abt to return to her room'.Dadi stops her'.

Dadi: Ye doctor kyun aya tha Ashna?? Kaun bimaar hai??

Ashna was abt to speak up when Adil intervens'.

Adil: Koi bimaar nahi hai'..actually Ashna thoda weak feel kar rahi thi'.to bas'.but no worries'.she is f9!!

At this Ashna stares at him in disbelief'.was he used to making lies so smoothly?? And here Dadi looks at him suspiciously as he was holding on to the door knob to keep standing straight!!

Dadi: Are u sure'.TUM thik ho??

With this question'.Adil just stares at her''and then looks away'.managing a slight nod. After this Dadi leaves'.while they get back to the room.

Ashna: Why did u lie??

Adil: Sab bekaar me pareshan ho jate'..

Ashna: Wo tumhare apne hai'.isme pareshani kaisi??

Adil: Hum apno ke liye hi to pareshan hote hai'.

Ashna: Well'.ye to haq hai'.unka!! Hai na?

Adil: Apna apna nazariya hai Ashna'.. (and he is abt to go to the changing room)

Ashna: Tum kahan jaa rahe ho??

Adil: Office nahi chalna kya?

Ashna: Of course'.main to jaa rahi hu'.lekin tum nahi!!

Adil just turns back to her wid raised eye-brows''he was not used to such 'orders'!!! And by the look he was giving to her'.she understood that he wanted more explanations'.

Ashna: Tumne suna nahi abhi doctor ne kya kaha?? (he faces the opposite direction to say'."he didn't care"'.) Okay fine'.doctor ki baat chhoro'..tumhe apni halath to pata hai na?? U r holding onto things to walk ur way Adil'..aise me office jaane ki kya zarurat hai batao!!

Adil gazes back at her'.to hear her concerned words'.he felt a lump in his throat as she seemed concerned'.FOR HIM!!! He knws''she suffers being wid him'..it suffocates her to be in this unwanted relationship''she almost hates him''.everyday she curses him'..and wishes to destroy him''.yet she had the heart to be concerned abt him!! Adil looks deep into her eyes''and he is stunned by its innocence and purity''. as he realizes she is sooo far from any wrath or grudges''just so pure and kind!! An unknown slight smile is abt to form on his face'..but that's when he realizes'..wat all he was making her do'..how he was snatching away her peace'..and joys which perhaps make her eyes sparkle normally!!

Ashna: Ab tumhe kya hua?? Aise khare kyun ko??

Adil: Nothing'..tum jao'..main RGI nahi jaunga!!

Ashna: Hmm'..(she was surprised that he gave in''but however she leaves for office)

As Ashna exits'..Adil also gets ready after a while'.and leaves for Sehgal Industries.

Sorry'..ghar pe nahi ruk sakta'..sab sawal jo puchhenge!! But as I said'..RGI nahi jaa raha hu'..

While Adil is in the car'.he gets a call from Shekhar.

Shekhar: To finally tumne ek din ke liye hi sahi'.hamein baksh dii'and office nahi aye'.gud!! I'm glad u had sum mercy on urself!!

Adil: (shakes his head) Apni bak bak bandh karo'.and be careful!! Mujhe koi gadbad nahi chahiye'.and be wid Ashna ok?

Shekhar: Hmm'.(he was confused again at the instruction'..but just then he hears the sound of horns) Adil'..tum ghar pe nahi ho!! (he just states this in wonder)

Adil: Yeah'.am on my way to Sehgal Industries'..aaj RGI nahi aunga''to socha waha jaake personally kuch checking kar lu'..

Shekhar: And Ashna thinks'.tum rest kar rahe ho!!

Adil: Let her thoghts be that way'.main usse pehle ghar pohuch jaunga'.

Shekhar: (shakes his head) Ghalti meri hi hai'..jo maine socha'.tumhe khud par rahem aa gayi'.anyways'wat can I say?? U take care and don't worry'.main yaha sab dekh lunga!!

Adil: I knw'.bye. (and they hang up)

Shekhar gets back to Ashna'.who was surprised to find him there'.She actually didn't expect him to keep a watch on her even today'.after all Adil was not here'.and Shekhar was supposed to take care of everything!!

Ashna: (a lil disappointed and irritated that she was still on watch) Tum yahan?

Shekhar: Haan'kyun?? Any problem?

Ashna: No'.I just thought'.khair chhoro!! Ye batao'.koi kaam hai kya?

Shekhar: Nahi main bas'check karne aya tha'.if u r doing gud!! (she just gives an extra-sweet smile to this) Waise'.its gud to see tum kaafi achha manage kar rahi ho'..Adil sahi tha'.U r definitely very smart!!

Ashna: Ohh'so Adil said that to u'..aur kya kya kaha usne tumhe?? Yehi ki main bahut ghamandi aur gusse wali hu'.or sumthing like that huh?? Isiliye tum pehle din itna hesitate kar rahe hoge'.hai na? (she asks quite sarcastically'..and Shekhar does not miss that tone for sure)

Shekhar: Aisa nahi hai Ashna'..usne aisa kuch bhi nahi kaha'.actually Uncle tumhare bare me aisa kehte the'.ki tum kaafi short-tempered ho and all'.

Ashna: Uncle??

Shekhar: Tumhare Papa'.Mr. Sehgal!!

Ashna: Tum bhi jante the Papa ko?? (she asks getting softer)

Shekhar: Of course''.in fact unki aur Adil ki har meeting me main hi to unke saath rehta tha''.he used to love Adil a lot'.aur Adil ne bhi unhe apni zindagi me ek ahem jagah de di thi''..(he gets a bit nostalgic wid the thoughts'.but then gets bak his composure) Aur haan'.wo tumhare bare me bahut baat karte the'..tumse bahut zyada pyar jo karte the'..aur mujhe yakeen hai'.tumhe aur Adil ko saath dekhke unhe sabse zyada khushi ho rahi hogi'.kyunki tum dono se wo bahut zyada pyar karte the'..aur aaj tum dono saath ho!! (he ends wid a smile)

But Ashna feels extremely bad'.when she thinks abt the reality. The fact was'.she and Adil were not together'''.she is not here to stand by him'..she is here to stand against him'..she is here to destroy his peace and happiness''.how her father must be feeling after knwing this?? Was he happy?? Was he with her?? Did he think she was right?? Was she actually right??

In the evening Ashna returns home to find Adil on the bed'.and he was going thru the news channels'.

Ashna: Ab kaisa hai tumhara fever?

Adil: Its fine'.

But of course'.she was not going to blv him'.so she checked his forehead on her own'.

Ashna: U seem better'.dawai li kya?

Adil: Haan''(Ashna just nods her head in acknowledgement and goes to change)

After a while'.its dinner time'.but Adil doesn't move'.

Ashna: Kya hua?? Tum dinner nahi karoge kya??

Adil: Kuch der baad kar lunga'.waise bhi itni jaldi khane ki adat nahi hai mujhe'.

She knew he was lying'.coz she knew he just didn't want to face his Dadi'.as she didn't like him!! However Ashna just shrugs her shoulder and leaves for the dinner!!

At night'.Ashna cudnt sleep'.she was in thoughts'.abt how her life was being shaped''how her life was turning'..she just doesn't knw wat she wants to do'.or how she can do wat she wants''No matter how strong she acts''.but she also needs support'..she is still the fragile and innocent Ashna'..who used to be pampered by her father!! It was true she was hot-headed'..and very very arrogant sumtyms'.but still'.she possessed a beautiful heart'.which cud not wish ill for sum1 else''Yes'.she almost hates Adil''in fact she definitely hates Adil'.but to wat extent?? Adil says'." kisise nafrat karna itna asaan nahi hota'.pehle khudko uss nafrat ki aag me jalna padta hai'..tab jaa kar aap kisise nafrat kar paate ho"'..did she actually hate him that much?? Perhaps no'..becoz its not easy for sum1 as nice as Ashna'.to hate sum1 to the LIMIT!!

Lekin kya Adil ghalat nahi hai? Bataiye na Papa'.kya main sahi nahi hu?? Kyun mujhe har kadam pe ye ehsaas dilaya jata hai'.ki wo achha hai''kyun main sabki aankhon me uske liye pyar dekhti hu''yaha tak ki Dadi bhi aaj pareshan lag rahi thi'.jab unhone doctor ko dekha'.Adil sahi tha'.wo usse nafrat nahi karti hai'.par agar wo Adil se khafa hai'..to uski koi wajah to hogi!! Pata nahi kyun Papa'..mujhe lagta hai mujhe pehle sab kuch janna chahiye''main aisa kuch nahi karna chahti jisse kisi aise insaan ko takleef ho jiski koi ghalti nahi hai'..Agar ghalti sirf Adil ki hai'.to takleef bhi usse hi honi chahiye''aur iske liye mujhe sab kuch pehle pata karna hoga''..kyunki shayad aisa bahut kuch hai'.jo main nahi janti'.in fact Adil mujhe janne nahi de raha hai!!

Here Adil enters the room'..after having his dinner and talking to his mom''and by now'Ashna was asleep'..actually she had her eyes closed'.so he thought her to be asleep!! As he gazed at her face'..he cud clearly see the lines of distress'.on her face!! She looked so stressed''she looked so troubled'..and he knew it was all becoz of him.

Mujhe pata hai tumhare iss masoom chehre par shikand ki wajah main hu'..tumhari shant zindagi me toofan bhi main hi laya''.par yakeen maano''ye nahi chaha tha maine Ashna''.mujhe andaza nahi tha''.tumhe itni takleef hogi''.lekin kya aisa na karne se takleef kam hoti Ashna? Agar tumhe sach pata hota'..to kya tumhe dard nahi hota??

"Batao na Ashna"''unmindfully he says this aloud!! And at this'.Ashna opens her eyes'.which were closed till now.

Ashna: Kya kaha tumne? Kuch puchha mujhse??

Adil: Huh'.ahh'nahi'kuch nahi!! Kuch nahi kaha''(and he goes to the changing room'..just to avoid her)

But Ashna cud very well notice the wrinkles on his forehead'..again he looked extremely troubled and upset as well'.it was not like she cared for him'.but she definitely wanted to knw'..she was just curious!!

Yeah'.I am just curious'.Adil itnaaaa pareshan kyun lag raha hai?? Kuch serious baat hai shayad''.aur mujhe wo baat janni hogi''I hav to knw U Adil'..I hav to knw wat Adil Raichand is all abt!!!
