Dear Polki,
I hope you are recovering fast. I need to make some confessions.
I dont know if everyoneis like that but I choose to read a fafic if and only if it satisfied 2 criteria. One, the intro to Maan and Geet should comply with their personalities shown in the show and second, Maaneet are together, what may come. Given these, I totally ignored your opening lines to the intro "Please don't judge a book by its cover. That is all I ask. Give it a chance, you may be pleasantly surprised" and delaying reading your ff for a longtime just because I found from the intro that Maaneet seperated and Geet was a single mother. To be very frank, since I had finished all the ffs that satisfied my conditions and updates were not coming, I finally made up my mind to give it a try and uninterstingly pulled myself through the first part last evening. Just now finished reading all the parts so far, thanks to my compelling domestic and professional pressures in the absence of which I would have finished reading before hitting the bed last night. The verdict is - here I am confessing to you that I am cursing myself for not having read this story all this time. Probably I have acquired (not inherited) khurana genes in assuming things without trying out the truth. I cannot commend you enough for the way you have been giving shape to this Maaneet saga, a very different and unique approach indeed. You have built the ff on the very basis and life of the storyline - Geet's baby. Among the mammoth maaneet ffs and I am very happy to say that yours is certainly one of the very few which are breathtakingly awesome. GOD BLESS YOU.
