Maan tries to wake Geet but is unsuccessful. He places her in Aditi's lap and rushes towards Ram. He catches hold of his collar, 'You scoundrel!! Meri patni ke baat aisi baat ki tu ne! Main tujhe nahi chodounga, Ram. You will pay for this.' Jai, Viren and the inspectors try to hold him back. They request him to come outside. Maan passes by Dev and looks at him angrily. He says, 'Jab bhi main sochta houn, ke tum aur nahi gir sakte tab hi tum mujhe galat saabit kar dete ho, Dev! Agar kuch nahi toh itna socho ke woh tumhare bacche ki maa hai. Tumhari giri hui harkat ka shikaar hai. Lekin main kisse baat kar raha houn? Aisi baat toh insanon se ki jaati hai lekin tum uss category mein hi nahi ho!' Naintara goes to defend Dev when Maan points his finger at her and says, 'Ek lafz kaha tha toh yahi maar dalounga, Naintara. Tum zinda ho yeh tumhari khush kismati hai. Mujhe aazmaon mat warna bohot bura hoga.' He leaves and goes outside to Geet.

Geet's head is rested on Maan's shoulder. He is talking to Jai and Viren in a hushed but angry tone. He says, 'Maine tum dono ko kaha tha ke reh Ram Verma kuch bhi bol sakta hai. Phir bhi na tum log mane na Geet. Koi toh raasta hoga Geet ko iss sab se door rakhne ka lekin nahi aap logon ne koshish bhi nahi ki!!' He closes his eyes in frustration and then opens them seeing Jai and Viren. He says, 'I am sorry Jai, Viren. Main janta houn ke main unreasonable ho raha houn lekin main Geet ki aisi haalat nahi dekh sakta. Itni ghatiya baat ki uss Ram ne Geet ke baare mein!' Jai says, 'Sorry mat bol, Maan. Hum dono samajhte hai key eh waqt kitna mushkil hai.' Viren agrees and says, 'Hum kuch sochte hai, bhai. Trust me.' Jai says, 'Tum Geet ko ghar le jao, main court ki date lekar aata houn.' Maan picks Geet up and takes her away. Jai turns to Viren and says, 'Viren, tum kya keh rahe ho? Bina Geet ke'?' Viren touches his shoulder and says, 'Mujhpar chod deejiye.' He walks away leaving behind a confused Jai.

Geet's eyes are closed but she is having flashes of her wedding with Dev. The way he used to be inappropriate with her and then the court dialogue where she was accused of framing Geet and Dev. She is murmuring, 'Maine dhoka nahi diya! Maine Maan ko dhoka nahi diya. Main kasam khati houn. Please mera yakeen keejiye.' Maan hears this and feel very troubled. He takes her head in his hand and tries to wake her up. She opens her eyes and seeing that it is Maan, she clings to him. He keeps her close to himself and says, 'Main yahi houn, Geet. Please ghabrao mat.' She is shaking all over and finally calms down. He makes her sit up against the pillow and sees her eyes out of focus. He says, 'Kuch bolo Geet.' She keeps staring in one direction and says, 'Aap bhi yahi maante hai ke maine aapko phaasa?' Maan is completely shocked at her statement. He says, 'Geet! Yeh kya keh rahi ho tum? Tum uss wakeel ki baat par dhyaan de rahi ho?' She says, 'Aap yeh maante hai ke main badla lene aayi thi? Ek bhai se nahi mila toh doosra?' Viren hears her outside and feels really bad. He shakes his head and says, 'Ab bohot ho gaya!!'

Maan holds her shoulders and makes her look at him. She has tears forming in her eyes and he cannot bear them. He shakes her and says, 'Geet, meri aanhkein dekho Geet. Tumhe lagta hai ke main iss baat par yakeen kar sakta houn? Mera hissa ho tum Geet. Meri zindagi tumhare naam kar di aur tum mujhse yeh pouch rahi ho. Ek kal ka aaya hua wakeel tumhare aur mere rishtein ke beech kaise aayega Geet?' She looks down again but he hold her head up in his hand. He says, 'Neeche nahi Geet. Meri aankhon mein dekhkar baat karo. Neeche woh log dekhte hai jo galat karte hai, jhoot bolte hai. Aur meri Geet aisa kuch nahi kar sakti.' She looks into his eyes and finally hugs him saying, 'Pal bhar ke liye mujhe laga maine aapko kho diya, Maan. Aisa nahi hoga na, Maan?' He replies, 'Tum chali gayi toh main jiyounga kaise Geet.' She pulls back and looks at him. He smiles slightly and says, 'Saansein tum se judi hai na Geet. Tum chali gayi toh kahani khatam.' They both kiss each other and Maan keeps Geet in his arms as they look out together at the moon.

Maan is sitting with Viren and Jai and says, 'Tum dono serious nahi ho sakte! Itna sab kuch hone ke bawajood tum keh rahe ho ke main Geet ko court mein laoun.' Viren says, 'Bhai, main aapki baat samajhta houn lekin mera waada hai aapse ke parson ke din iss kahani ak aakhri din hai. I promise you!' Maan is unconvinced and Jai says, 'Maan, Viren janta hai woh kya keh raha hai. Humhe ek aur mauka tumhe dena hoga. Geet agar nahi aayi toh unhe ko toh yahi lagega na ke hum darr gaye.' Maan replies, 'Tumhe lagta hai ke mujhe parvaah hai, Jai. Mujhe koi farak nahi parhta.' Geet is behind them and says, 'Agar aapko farak na parhne se hum yeh case haar gaye toh?' Maan rushes to her and says, 'Geet, tum bahar kyun aayi? Mujhe bula leti.' She walks in slowly with his help and says, 'Mera aana zaroori tha. Aapko Viren par bharosa karna hoga, Maan aur main aa rahi houn aapke saath. Meri haalat aisi iss liye hui kyunki shayad maine socha tha ke Dev aur Naintara ko apne kiye ka ehsaas hai aur woh aisa kuch nahi karege. Lekin main galat thi. Viren aur Jai hamara saath de rahe hai. Aap unki baat nahi taal sakte.' All 3 of them look towards him and he relents reluctantly and walks out of the room.

Two days pass by and everyone is in the court. Maan and Geet are sitting together with their hands interlaced with each others. Maan has a tight grip on this as he controls his anger seeing Ram standing to start the session. Jo aapne Dev ka saath dekar Geet ke saath kiya uske baad main aapko mom kaise bulaoun?' Pammi says, 'Tujhe kaise pata chala?' Viren replies, 'Geet Maan ki patni hai mom.' He narrates whatever has happened after they left for Canada and Pammi collapses on the bed listening to it. She says, 'Itna sab kuch ho gaya aur kisi ne mujhe kuch nahi kaha.' Viren says, 'Aapne poucha kaha mom. Aapko Dev ke ilawa kuch dikhayi nahi diya ke aapne apni aankhon ke saamne aisa hone diya.' She cries and says, 'Viren maine bohot rokne ki koshish ki lekin Dev aur Naintara sun nahi rahe the.' Viren says, 'Toh aap chali jaati mom! Lekin aisa kaam na karti. Zindagi aapko mauka de rahi hai praishchit karne ki. Agar aapko sach much lagta hai ke aapne gunaah kiya hai toh agli flight lekar Delhi aaye aur apne nalaayak bte ke khilaaf gawahi deejiye. Ek maa ka farz nibhaiye, mom. Shayad phir main aapki thodi izzat kar paoun.' He puts the phone down and Pammi cries bitterly with the phone in her hand.
