To Love Again - part 9

Maan didn't know which way to move. He remembered how weak Geet was when he first met her. He remmembered how she refused to sign on the papers..How she demanded to get that person's contact number..Why did Geet's own family wanted to kill her..it was the only thing he didn't understand till now..
But how could Dev do it?? Naintara could stoop that low, but not Dev.. He decided to walk back.

He got ready and went for camping. Camping is the best thing in his life when he couldn't think of anything. The only way he could relax and think of life calmly. But tonight is totally different. He is shattered. He knew that Geet wouldn't tell a lie to Daadi. Why didn't she tell about it before? Did she blame him for everything? Being Dev's brother doesn't mean he has to pay for his mistakes..Mistakes???It wasn't a mistake. It was a sin.

He was worried for Geet. The harsh way that he treated Geet would not be forgiven. SHe has suffered so much in life. She kept everything to herself. But why didn't she take care of herself and the unborn baby? He couldn't take it any more. In her eyes he always see the purity..innocence and love..He was never being able to read the pain in her eyes..He was so dumb..He didn't even try to know about her pain..It's all his fault..

He knelt down and opened his arms wide open. He then cried out loud 'Geet..why? why did you this? Is this how much you knew me?Geet..Oh!..why didn't I know it before?' He spent the entire night there, crying for Geet..for him..for both of them..Why didn't she trust him? Why didn't she tell it to him?

He understood why destiny brought them together with the help of 'Taveez'. He thanked God for making him the saviour of Geet. He felt ashamed of himself because of Dev. He accepted her as his responsibility.

Geet was worried in the outhouse.She knew that something bad had happened that Maan didn't come home. She called his number so many times, but it's being switched off.

It was at dawn, finally Maan arrived home. He saw Geet sleeping on the couch. He saw marks of the tears she shed. He looked at her beautiful face and moved his gaze to her abdomen. He didn't notice anything. It isn't big..He moved closer to her and touched her forehead. He touched her abdomen with his trembling hands.

He got ready and went to office before Geet could wake up. When Geet woke up, she sensed that he was home. She went to check and knew that he came home. But why didn't he call her? Was he mad at her?

Geet felt that things have turned upside down..She has no right to love..She isn't worth to be part of a man like Maan Singh Khurana..She have to fight all alone..No one will help her in this battle..At the same time her sixth sense warned her to talk to Maan before she leave.

She called his cell phone, but it turned out to be switched off. She then called his office, but Pinky told her that Maan told not to forward any call to him.
