"Dadima, main janta hoon ki maine galat kiya aur isiliye main Geet se maafi bhi mangna chahta tha lekin who mujhe attitude de rahi thi, phir bhi main use dhoondne gaya tha aur woh nahi mili pata nahi iss waqt woh akele kahan hogi, aap janti hai usse apna dhyaan rakhna bilkul nahi aata' meri nazar uspar se ek minute hati nahi ki koi na koi musibaat main padh jaati hai woh' aur aur'"

"Aur'" Dadi asked with a smile playing on her lips' she could see that Geet's pain and departure was causing a positivie effect on him and maybe just maybe everything would go according to her wishes now'

"Dadima main aapse yeh wada toh nahi kar sakta ki I'll change overnight, but the best I can do is try Geet ko dhoondkar aur usse maafi mangkar, kya aap jaanti hai woh kahan hai...?" asked a hopeful Maan because he'd heard Geet telling her that she'd call dadi once she found a safe place to stay.

"Haan, Geet ka phone aaya tha usne newspaper main ek ad dekhi thi orphan girls/working women hostel ki Nizamuddin main' hmmm kya naam bataya tha yaad nahi aara." Dadima decided to tease Maan a little before giving him the information to see his reaction.

"Naam' yaad kijiye na dadima jaldi please, yaad kijiye," urged a very impatient Maan.

Dadima smiled internally and gave him the information not wanting to trouble him more' "Haan, yaad aaya St. Jude Hostel for Women, lekin humare paas wahan ka address nahi hai, geet ne toh sirf phone number diya tha' aap ek kaam kijiye yeh number par call karke address le lijiye and go get Geet right now!"

Maan relaxed a little knowing her whereabouts' he called the hostel and noted down their address and left immediately to get Geet, first making sure that Dadima was feeling well and taken care of.

It was around 7:30pm when he reached the hostel, it had taken him an hour to just get there "Ab pata nahi is ladki ko samjhane main kitna time lagega," maan thought with a smile and entered the hostel taking in the surroundings' it was a decent place.

"Jee kahiye' aap yahan kya kar rahe hain," the receptionist/manager of the hostel asked him with curoisty because guys didn't really enter the hostel past 6:00pm.

"Kya aap mujhe Geet' Geet Handa kahan hai bata sakti hai' main unhe yahan lene aaya hoon" Maan said hurriedly'

"Jeen Geet ne aaj hostel join kiya hai, lekin visiting hours khatam ho chuke hain 6:00pm, aap kal aajaiye," the old lady manager informed him and that irrated Maan to no end because he really wanted to set things right with Geet.

"Auntyji suniye mera geet se milna bahut zaroori hai, please usse bual dijiye," Maan pleaded with the old lady which was so unlike him.

The old lady could see that Maan was very worried for the sweet young girl Geet that had just come into the hostel a few hours ago, she decided to let him know of her whereabouts as he looked really worried for her. "Beta, Geet thode time par aayi thi yahan, lekin abhi abhi woh Nizamuddin ki dargah par gayi hai koi mannat mangne' tum chaho toh yahan uska intezaar kar sakte ho."

"Jeen thank you auntyji lekin main Geet ko dargah par dhoond loonga, aapka bahut bahut shukriya!" he gets into his car and heads to the dargah.

Maan reaches the dargah and does all the rituals just like today's show J sorry don't know all the details and tries to find Geet' he sees her tying the thread, but he was frozen in his place she looked magnificent in the white salwar-kameez and it was hard to not notice it.

"Maan," he hears her voice and comes out of his reverie, but he didn't fail to notice that she'd called him Maan and not Sir' it made him feel weird in a happy way to hear his name from her lips after such a long time'

He sees her turning away in anger and calls out to her but she ignores him and fastens her pace, so Maan takes big steps and catches up to her, takes a hold of her wrist and before she could protest he pulls her to his car, so that they could go and talk in a peaceful place. "Maan aap yeh kya kar rahe hain' mera haath chodiye, mujhe jaana hai." But he didn't heed to her requests and kept on dragging her, he forcefully made her sit in the car and drove to a park to talk to her. Maan got out of the car and held the door for Geet too once they reached, but she was being stubborn so maan pulls her out and takes her to a bench.

"Aap mujhe yahan kyun laaye hai'maine kaha na mujhe jaana hai, aur waise bhi apko mera pata kaise maloom hua?"

"Geet, I am really sorry mujhe pata hai ki maine jo tumse kaha woh nahi kehna chahiye tha' par gusse mein maine bina soche samjhe jo mooh main aya kehdiya' tum toh jaanti ho na mujhe kitna gussa aata hai.. tabhi toh mujhe Dusht Danav bulati ho mujhe'" he ends with a teasing to lighten her mood and gives her a small smile when Geet looks at him astonished because the MAAN SINGH KHURANA was apologizing to her AND SMILING she pinches herself' "Babaji' main koi sapna toh nahi dekh yeh muskura rahe hai AUR mujhse maafi bhi maang rahe hain"

"Geet dekho main tumse maafi maang raha hoon na, chalo kyun na hum dono ek nayi shuruat kare'? Friends? Kyun na hum dosti karle' phir shayad yeh takrar kam ho jaaye, waise main aurton par bilkul bharosa nahi karta, lekin main jaanta hoon ki main tum par bharosa kar sakta hoon!" Maan said softly to Geet and surprising himself too on the friends part' where had that come from he wondered he was here to apologize and take her home not become friends! But for some reason he was glad that he'd asked her that, because he felt lighter and relieved.

Geet was astounded' MSK wanted to be friends with her and he trusted her, she knew she could trust him with her life'he had been the one who saved her afterall'maybe just maybe this trust could help them become friends, she really wanted to give it a try, but before accepting his friendship she would have to tell him why she had refused to leave the outhouse and been stubborn about keeping the job that dadima had given her' she owed him and herself that much because she didn't want a repeat of the same events when he found out later on. She didn't know why but Maan thinking ill of her caused her great pain, but his offer for friendship had most definitely soothed her.

"Maan isse pehle ki main apki friendship accept karu I need to tell you about my past, you need to know so that we don't have a repeat of the earlier events!" Geet explained patiently to him.

"Geet maine tumse maafi maangli hai na' phir mujhe tumhare past ke baarein main nahi jaanna hai, I DON'T REPEAT MY MISTAKES and I don't want you to do something that is going to hurt you," Maan tried reasoning with her because he knew whenever she thought of her past she cried and he couldn't see her crying.

"Maan thank you for being so thoughtful, lekin sach ek na ek din samne aa hi jaata hai so better early than late, aur waise bhi jab tak main apko bata nahi deti I won't feel comfortable being your friend and going back with you so please bear with me," Geet pleaded again she WAS going to tell him everything, she had to.
