Geet was busy packing and dadima was lost in her thoughts and looking at Geet sadly' she'd gotten really attached to the girl and would miss her terribly' but she was more worried of how Geet would manage in the outside world' just as she was about to say the same to Geet the door opened and Maan stepped inside with an expressionless face..

He saw that she was packing already and had to hurry and fix his mistake' he went a little closer to the bed where Dadima was lying and called out to her hesitantly, "Geet"

Dadima could hear the regret in Maan's voice, but what he didn't realize was it was too late' he should have thought of the consequences before saying anything to Geet. She knew that he realized his mistake, but not the extent of damage he'd already done.

Geet's hands froze mid-way of closing her bag and her eyes started welling up' she just didn't have the will or strength to hear anymore, she wanted to get away as fast as she could. Maan could see the emotions of Geet's face and it made his will stronger to apologize to her and set everything right again. He took a step towards her, but Geet hurriedly said, "Sir, fikar mat kijiye aap jeet gaye' meri packing ho chuki hai main bas jaa hi rahi hoon" and started taking her bag down and as she was about to move towards the door Maan stepped closer to her and blocked her way "Geet mujhe tumse baat karni hai abhi" with a little more force and authority in his voice. Geet met Maan's eyes with a whirlwind of emotions in them' anger, confusion, sadness and the most visible PAIN trying her best to control her anger and emotions she answered' Sir jo kuch kehna aur sunna tha aap keh chuke aur main sun chuki' ab mujhe jaane dijiye"

Dadima could see the anger flaring up on Maan's face and before he did something more to worsen the situation she interrupted them and said "Geet beta please humari khatir aap dono ek baar baat kar lijiye shayad aap dono ke yeh differences' before she could finish her sentence Geet agreed to her wishes because she didn't want to create a scene in front of dadima.. she was already sick and geet had refused from staying back with her' talking to Maan one last time before leaving was the least she could do for her' "Chaliye neeche aapke office main chalkar baat karte' yahan dadima ko aaram karne dijiye," saying this Geet angrily brushes past him and down the stairs to wait for him.

Maan just stood there to get a hold of himself before he went to talk to her downstairs all the while thinking to himself, "Main usse maafi mangne ki koshish kar raha hoon aur yeh mujhe attitude de rahi hai' Maan Singh Khurana ko."

But as soon as he spots her by the window looking out into the darkness and tears flowing down her flushed cheeks he softens and takes out his handkerchief and walks towards her to wipe her tears, when she didn't accept his handkerchief he tried talking to her "Geet' maine jo tumhare saath kiya who.." before he could finish geet interrupts him and looks dead in his eyes with a glare that could compete Maan Singh Khurana's and hissed "Nahi Sir, BAS apko jo kehna tha aap keh chuke mujhe aise apne paas pakad kar aapne saari hadein paar kardi' Maan takes a step back and geet continues' ab kuch mat kahiyega agar mera bas chale toh aaj ke baad main apka chehra bhi na dekhoon stunning maan into silence. (these are the exact same lines from the episode today' I really liked it when Geet stood up for herself, so credit goes to Geet CV's).

Maan just stood there watching her leave to get her bag and say goodbye to dadima' he didn't know why it hurt so much, why her tears and words pierced his heart, yet he composed himself once again like he'd always done to hide his pain and went back upstairs so that Dadima wouldn't worry. As he entered Dadima was asking Geet of where would she go and how would she manage in such a big city that too when it was starting to get dark out.

But nothing could stop Geet today, she'd made up her mind that she was going to move on and make something of herself. With all the determination and confidence she could muster she answered, "Dadima' yeh to kismat thi joh mujhe is shehar main Maan aur aap mil gaye, agar aap yahan nahi hote toh tab bhi toh mujhe akele hi is duniya ka saamna karna padta na, bas yehi samajh lijiye ki maine aaj apna naya safar shuru kiya hai' lekin aap fikar mat kijiye main aapse wada karti hoon ki main apna dhyaan rakhoongi aura apse milne bhi aaongi."

"Beta, Geet humain aap par pura vishwaas hai lekin kya aap kal subha nahi jaa sakti? Hum aapko force nahi karenge, jaise aap chahe lekin haan aapko humse wada karna hoga ki aap humse milne aayengi aur roz humse phone par baat karengi!"

"Pakka waada dadima'" answered a teary eyed geet and gave her once last hug and kiss on her cheek and walked past Maan, but stopped as she remembered something' she turned towards him with hard eyes and said' "Maine apne yahan do din rehne ka rent aapke table par rakh diya hai' agar woh kam lage toh meri salaray main se kat lijiye ga' mujh par aapke pehle hi bahut aahsan hai aur chadane ki zaroorat nahi!" with a small smile playing on her lips she gave a little wave to dadima and left the outhouse.

Maan just stared after her worrying of where she'd go at this hour and how would she get a roof on her head, why hadn't dadima forced her to say' he wanted to make sure that she'd be safe so he hurried after her to help her find a place, he didn't care if she didn't need his help' he just couldn't leave her out there, he didn't understand why when he was the one who wanted her out' but he wasn't happy he was devastated that she'd left moreover because of his hurtful words and actions.

He got in his car and tried looking for her, but she'd vanished like thin air' she was nowhere to be seen, where could she have gone' he searched for two hours straight but couldn't look more he had to return to dadima' she needed him even Dev wasn't home so he headed back to the outhouse to find dadima deep in thought.

When dadima noticed that Maan was back she chose to keep quiet' she wanted to give him a nice scolding but stopped when she noticed how he was pacing around the room restlessly'. After a while she couldn't take no more and decided to step in, she had promised Geet that she wouldn't force her but that didn't mean she couldn't put some sense into her hard and hotheaded Grandson.

"Maan" she called him sternly'.

There was dead silence in the room and when he heard dadima calling him' he got really surprised and worried for her and rushed to the bed to see if she was okay'

"Hum theek hai, aapko chinta karne ki koi zaroorat nahi' aapne aaj bilkul theek nahi kiya maan, apko andaza bhi ki aapki baaton ka kya asar hua hai us bechari par?" dadima said angrily'

Maan was already stressed out and worried about Geet, but he couldn't show it to her and ' he didn't want to be reprimanded like a child now by his dadi' so he tried stopping her, "Dadima abhi aap aaram kijiye, us ladki ki wajah se aap apni tabyat kharab mat kijiye, theek hone ke baad jitna gussa karna hai kar lena'"

"MAAN SINGH KHURANA," Dadima shouted' she wasn't going to let go this time' Maan couldn't use his hatred for women as an excuse, she had to take an action and now was the time' she was going to teach him a lesson and make him realize his mistakes, she'd seen the pain in Geet's eyes which kept haunting her' especially her words of all her losses.
