PART-5
I woke up with the sound tap running . I looked around and the place seemed alien..well , its not my home , i suddenly felt home--sick...i missed Dad cuming and waking me up ..i missed mom who kept looking at us from door ..i missed my home...i miss them . Unknowingly a tear slid down my eyes...I was married to someone whom i hate and all the things which happened yesterday night flashed in front of my eyes.
''Nupur beta...Gud morning'' Shilpa ma said cuming out of washroom
''morning ma..i am sorry ..i didnt realise the time'' i fumbled ..as it was already 7:30 ..
''its ok beta..dont worry .'' maa said as she came and patted on my cheeks
''I am going to mandir..and u get ready by then '' I nodded but i could make out the pinch in her voice ..wel she witnessed her both son fighting with one-another..! I felt guilty for everything...
I got up with those thoughts still knocking my head ..and realised that i my suitcase was in Mayank's room only . Again i was in a tiff...hell , why does destiny plays with me again and again to !..
I moved out of room in night dress...either i culd call samrat for help or i culd go myself . Calling samrat means another fight and going myself meant another torture ...and i had to select the tougher one out of the two. I went upstairs and stood outside his room ..maybe he got some brains after yesterday bbut the way he looked at me didnt go wel with my prediction..He cant harm u Nupur..he cant !..i wont allow him to harm me..i wont
With some courage i knocked the door..but no one answered...i waited for 2mins or so..but still no awail ...maybe he went for a gym or some...maybe !
I went inside the room to find everything lying on floor..i culd imagine that beast doing all this out of anger ...and it frightened me more. I straight away headed to my suitcase , lying at the corner , and truned to leave the room but....
Mayank stood there with black vest and pyjama , he was sweating but his eyes showed anger. Before i could react to anything , i was pinned to the wall . He blocked my way by keeping his hand on one side and the other side was door .
''u must have enjoyed yesterday ...right ? '' mayank said and inched closer to me
I gulped '' i dont want to talk to u ..and u better leave my way '' said keeping my face off him
''i wont '' i looked up and he sild his hand inside my robe , his hands moving on the thin silk dress which were burning my skin
I tried pushing him but culdnt..with every effort of mine , he inched closer...
'' I SAID LEAVE ME'' i shouted my lungs and pushed him with all effort '' what do you want for me what ?...i never did wrong with u and still u are harming me...i married you coz i love my parents ....Why !!..why are you doing this !!..WHY !! '' i shouted and tears flowed down my cheeks..
''i am hurting u ...!..wel yes..i want to hurt u !..i want u ...do u get that i WANT U !! '' he said punching his fist on the wall
''i am not a bloody SLUT.. ! '' i screamed
He looked at me and without caring , i moved out of room , banging the door behind
I dressed up in red churridar suit...wearing a thread with black beads .. I looked pale , i wished no one in this world should go throu the feeling i am going throu
i went to kitchen to help mom , without mentioning the morning incident..
''u are looking beautiful beta ''
''thanku ma '' i said trying to put up a fake smile
''nupur you are going to live like a daughter and not like daughter-in-law...whatever u wish to do ..go for it , u have your space and no one is gonna interfere in it '' mom said and i felt glad
''thanku ma...thanx a tonn ''
''you are welcome beta '' mom said
''heyy ladies..morning '' samrat entered
''morning '' i said and mom just smiled at him
It was soothing to be around someone like mom and Samrat . The silver lining around black cloud
Mayank came down for breakfast and mom accompanied him but they hardly talked . I and samrat had a silent breakfast in kitchen itself . I never wanted there home to spilt..but everythng worng was happening
MAYANK'S POV
I went to office ..everybody congratulated me for getting married but it was me aware of the condition . I could hardly concentrate on project file and my mind drifted to past...the past which changed my llife ..the time ..which made me stand on this way ..
NUPUR'S POV
I shifted to guest room , next to mom's room . I arranged the room and went outside to nearby Park . iwanted some time alone..away from sharma world ..away from those haunting past and present . but its correctly said , anything can change but not the memories of past and my thoughts drifted to the changing year of my life
Flashback
The first day of Excel College...for some , it was just another step to education but for Nupur it meant world . Excel , the best college of India , many student got throu approach and many due to their hard-work and Nupur was one of them . She entered the college to find a new aroma surrounding her , being in college is the nest feeling anyone can have and she was enjoying it . Only freshers were present as seniors had one-week off to prevent new chaps from ragging. Nupur went to her class and got seated next to short-haired girl.
''Hii...i am Nupur '' she smiled
''hey..i am Dia''
They both chatted for a while and in short span Nupur got a great friend
''hey dia '' the girly talk was interrupted by a lad wearing green tee and denims . He had boyish but cute look on his face
''Heyy sammy '' dia got up and hugged him
''glad to see u yr...i got bored ''
''me too '' Dia pouted while Nupur felt like a nobody
''ohh..i forgot...Nupur meet sammy..i mean Samrat''' Nupur -samrat shook hands
''Nupur..samrat is my childhood friend '' dia said and i smiled
The trio talked and talked for the entire day as hardly anything was taught that day
In weeks time ..the trio formed unbreakable bonds...it was hard to imagine..but some exceptions are always there
Nupur entered the college , bit late coz of stupid traffic ..she ran , so as to reach the class before professor enters but she banged !!
''ouch'' all her files scattered and without bothering to look up , she hastly gathered her files
''i am sorry '' she said and moved to her class , without evn giving a glance at the guy who was staring at her . Her passport sized pic had fallen down and the guy bent down to pick up
[NUPUR'S POV]
''Dia why are v not having any lecture today ? '' I asked puzzled and dia chuckled
''darlin' today seniors are gonna take our official intro ''
''what ?'' asked hell nervous
''yes...but dont worry..just do what they want..okk'' Dia consoled
A whole group of ten-twelve guys entered the class and the ffreshers held their breath out of fear.
''Dia ..'' I whispered
''yess''
''i told u na..that i banged with someone ..''
''yup..then''
'''he is our senior...the one in whie tee and black denim'' I said
''omg !!...thats mayank sharma'' dia said bit tensed
''what happened then ?''
''nothing..jjust keep ur head low'' dia said and I followed. i felt someone's gaze on me but didnt bother to look up
[Mayank's pov]]
I looked around the class...they looked like poor fellows but someone got my attention..!
She was the one whom i banged in morning . She was whispering something to Dia , i know her as she is RV's girl-friend , and then she started looking down .
I had a bad imagine for being a bad-boy , well i liked that image but i never hurted anyone...but something wrong was going on this time .
''Heyy you !'' i said pointed out to the same girl
She looked vulnerable that time but without caring i called her out . She was hesitating but Dia signalled and she came out
All my gang people started hooting ..
''wow..mayank ..good choice '' Rv commented and i smirked
I moved forward ..
''whats ur name ?''
''Nupur '' her voice was shaking
''dance with me ''
she looked at me with horror...and evn i was confused as to why i said this..but i ignored
''but...''
''i said dance!!..cant u hear'' without thinking i grabbed her hand and with other placed her hand on my shoulder
Amit played '' Zara zara touch me '' on his cell
I culd feel her eyes glistening with tears ..but she continously looked down ..and this somewhat was making me mad..hel...i wanted to see her face..
I held her closer by waist and tried to move my hand under her shirt when i got a push
''THATS ENOUGH !'' she said with anger visible and moved out of class...followed by my brother Samrat , giving a last warning glare
Nupur's POV.
I had hard time controlling my tears ..i hated myself for not protesting against it but then i was left with no option . I was continously looking down but culd feel his gaze on me ..I was already having the worst time when i felt his hand on my skin , tear rolled down my face ..i pushed him , without thinking about anyone in this freaking class
''thats enough ! '' i said and moved out before i started crying in front of the whole class
I rushed to garden and tears started rushing down ...
why didnt i object...!!!..damned..i was being treated like a fool !...
I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to look samrat standing there
''i am fine samrat '' said wiping off my tears
''i am really sorry for whatevr happened '' samrat said...but i was confused as why he was sorry...he didnt do anything
''u are not at fault samrat...! why are u being sorry '' i said controlling my tears
'' u can cry , if u want '' he said directly looking into my eyes .,..and i broke down .
In mean time Dia came and hugged me ...
Mayank's POV
I was blank when Nupur walked out of class. I felt bad for my act but then that girl shouted on me,,,on Mayank Sharma ! ..
I got all the pats from my friends for the act but at the same time they commented on Nupur's gutz . I was blank ...totally blank .,
I preferred going back home than staying in this turmoil . As i was leaving the college , i saw Nupur hugging Dia and samrat patting her head ...freak !!!...is he my brother !! hell , he is consoling the girl who shouted on me in front of freshers ...!!.. I became infuriated and moved out
The entire day..i had Nupur in my mind ..the first time she banged...her nervousness...the dance and then the way she moved out of class. Never a girl had such a impact on me ..it was not that she was extra-ordinary..but she had something...something was making me go against everything .
Nupur's POV
I went home and tried being cheerful to avaoid telling anything at home. The entire night i kept thinking of the incident ..and still could feel his touch ...!!! but i was hopeful that next day would be finne...with back to studies and other activities
Next day , i went to college ...to find Samrat-Dia waiting for me . I was happy to get them as my friends...
We went inside to face the worst . Mayank stood there with his gang behind . I tried to ignore but it was becoming hard .
''Mayank...leave '' samrat said ..
''Samrat u better dont get into this '' Mayank said as he headed towards me.
''RV jjust stop ur friend...cant u see'' Dia said to an equally evil looking guy but i was too scared to act . The whole college had gathered and that jerk was cuming towards me ..
''Hmm..so you found yesterday's act ENOUGH ? '' he said cuming close to me
I didnt have courage to evn a utter a single word..and the next thing took me off guards..
I felt his lips on mine ..
I was shocked..numb...terrified ..!!!..
After few seconds i realised that i was freakingly getting kissed ..i felt his tongue trying to part my lips but i pressed them tighter and with all my might pushed him .
I had tears rolling..my heartbeat went unstable..and culd hear the hooting ! He smirked ..and the next thing i did should have been done before
I went to him and turned him to face me ..
SLAP !!!...
The people who were hooting snapped and they had their mouth hung open !...and without caring for anyone , i left
''Nupur '' ...i came to present with a familiar voice and looked behind to see Dia standing there
i GUESS quite long this time ...! :)
this is one part of the flash-back...next will be cuming in another 2-3 update :)
