hey guys. here's part 6. i'm glad all of you have liked this ff so far. 😃

Part 6:

Armaan stared blankly at Shashank as the old man looked at him with hope in his eyes.

"Yes I will," Armaan said with a determined look on his face.

Shashank smiled and patted him on the back.

"I knew I could count on you son. Anyways, enough of these sentimental talks," Shashank said.

"Yes Uncle. It's getting dark. I should be leaving," Armaan said as he shook hands with Shashank and turned to leave.

"Armaan," Shashank said.

"Yes Uncle," Armaan said as he turned around.

"Thanks son," Shashank said.

"It's nothing, Uncle. I'm glad I have the pleasure of getting Riddhima in my life," Armaan said.

Shashank smiled and Armaan left Gupta Mansion and saw Rahul sitting on the steps staring out into space.

"Hey Rahoooool. Anyone there?" Armaan said without getting a response. Armaan slapped Rahul on the back of his head only to hear Rahul shout.

"What the hell, sir," Rahul shouted.

"You know Rahul, you sound really weird. First you curse and then you call me sir. Can you stop it with the sir already," Armaan groaned.

"You know why I call you sir. Anyways drop it. What happened inside?" Rahul asked.

"We're getting married in 5 days," Armaan said as he lifted up his collar.

"No way," Rahul said shocked.

"Yes way," Armaan smiled.

"But she hated the sight of you. And yet, she agreed to get married to you?" Rahul asked.

"Not necessarily. I had my ways with her," Armaan said as he told Rahul everything that had happened inside with Riddhima and Shashank.

"Wow. But hey, are you really going to do that whole companion thing that Shashank was talking about?" Rahul asked.

Armaan laughed. "Yeah right. Come on Rahul. I told you before, I'm doing it for the money. That's it. I have no feelings for Riddhima whatsoever. I really don't give a da**."

"Then why did you kiss her?" Rahul asked him leaving Armaan shocked.

"It was a part of the plan. I had to show her who's going to dominate our relationship. If I force her physically, she'll realize that I have the upper hand," Armaan stated, trying to convince himself more than Rahul.

"I can understand the first time but why the second time around?" Armaan asked himself. "Why did I kiss her," Armaan thought.

"Come on Rahul. I'm tired. Let's go home," Armaan said and began to walk towards his car and sat down in the driver's seat.

"I'll drive," Rahul said.

"Shut up Rahul. Get in the passenger seat," Armaan said and drove off as soon as he heard the car door shut. What he didn't realize was that someone was watching him from her window above. A tear fell down her cheek and she slowly let it fall. She was in the room alone. Alone. That's what she always was. She slowly turned around and sunk deep into the covers of her bed.

"No one likes me. Everyone hates me. Why wouldn't they. I'm a shrew after all," Riddhima said as she remembered the words uttered by Armaan.

"I'm getting married to a man who doesn't even love me. I knew he wants the money. Why else would he marry me? Papa wants to get rid of me too. I thought Armaan was lying but I heard him. Papa said it himself. He wants this marriage to happen as soon as possible," Riddhima cried as a fresh wave of tears fell down her cheeks.

"But why, why Papa? Why are you letting this marriage happen without my consent. You just said that my marriage will happen with him and you didn't even think to ask me? You just thought that I would want to marry that Armaan. I loathe him, Papa. I hate him. Why? Why didn't you ask me," Riddhima buried her face in her hands and slowly fell asleep with these thoughts running through her head.

This FF is really good. I love Shakespeare plays so it is a treat to read a story of AR with the same concept as 'Taming of the Shrew'.
