Here goes the update
She was quiet for some time. 'Really you don't like me?' she asked. (If I didn't say yes this time then she may push me down through the door, so better say yesJJ). I just smiled. I could see some smile in her face too. 'Tell me about you' she asked. 'There is nothing to tell about me' I said. 'Which color do you like?' she asked. 'Whoever is colorful I like them' I replied. She started laughing. 'Shall we go to our seat?' I asked. 'No, it's nice to stand near the door; we will stand for another 15 minutes' she said. I agreed. 'It is 3 pm now, when will you reach your destination?' She asked. 'If there is no blockages in between then I may reach my place by 7' I replied. 'You need to travel 3 more hours to reach your destination from my place' I said. 'Yeah, that too alone' she said in a dull voice. 'Do one thing Mayank ; come with me to Kottayam, drop me and then you come back to Ernakulam' she said smiling. 'Hmm ok, but I will need a favor from you' I said. 'What's that?' she asked. 'I will come with you till Kottayam but you have to come with me to drop me in Ernakulam' I said. 'Ok, done' she replied with a cute smile.
Hours passed. I realized that she was going to be with me only for few hours. Wanted to tell her something, but thought that I will tell her before I get down. I very well knew that I was going to miss her very badly, but was worried if she would mistake me if I said so. Meanwhile it started raining heavily. 'Hey, come let's go to our seat' she said. We both went and sat in our seat. 'So..' she said. 'So..?' I replied. In the meantime I saw a girl passing through our seat. She followed my gaze and exclaimed 'Wow, she is beautiful'. 'No' I replied. 'Hey, don't lie she really looks beautiful' she said. 'Not more than you' I said. 'Do you never speak truth?' she asked smiling. 'After talking to you I couldn't tell anything other than truth' I replied. First time I am seeing her getting shy. She took her leg which was touching my hand till now. She adjusted herself by not making any contact to my body and sat silently in the single seat. 'Did I say anything wrong or did I do anything which she dis-liked?' I was thinking.
Train stopped in the next railway station, Alwaye. I got down to the platform. I didn't say anything to her or didn't ask her whether she needed anything to eat. But there was only one thing going on in my mind, there was only an hour left before I had to get down, the next station was my destination. So should I say her that I liked her very much? Lots of thoughts were going on in my mind. Finally I decided to tell her the truth. I saw her getting down from the train and walking towards me. 'Mayank ' she called me. 'Yes' I replied. Till now I faced her bravely but now don't know what had happened to me, I was not even able to look at her face upfront. 'Do you need anything?' I asked. 'No' she replied. 'Ok' I said. 'So I think next station is where you will get down right?' she said. 'Hmm, yes I replied' (I can feel some struggle in my voice now). I noticed her. She was turning that side with her head down.
'Come, let's get into the train' I said. No reply from her. 'Hey, it's time, train will move now' I said. Even now no reply from her. I just touched her shoulder and turned her back. She was crying. Her cheeks were pink in color. 'What happened?' I asked her. 'Will you forget me Mayank ?' she asked. Really don't know what to reply for her question. I just wanted to hold her hands and tell her that I her like very much, but didn't. Train started moving. 'Hey, train started moving, comes let's get inside' I said. 'Answer to my question and then I will get into the train' she said still crying. 'I will answer you later for sure, now come let's get inside' I said. I holded her hands and pulled her towards the door and made her get inside. I understood that she also likes me. I was happy.
She went to the seat, took the towel and refreshed herself. I was still standing near the door. 'Shall I bring your towel?' she asked. 'Not required' I said. 'Why?' she asked. 'I have hand kerchief' I said. She started laughing. 'See how good it is when you laugh. Be happy like this all the time' I said. 'Mayank , at least tell her now that you like her' my inner voice was urging. 'Hey tell me now, will you forget me once you get down from this train?' she asked. (I decided not to tell anything stupid this time). 'No, I won't forget you' I said. 'Promise?' she asked. 'I will not make any promises, but will not forget you' I replied. I could see her face lit up and she sported a happy smile. 'I like you very much Mayank !' she said. I smiled at her. 'Why are you smiling?' she asked holding my shirt in her hand. 'Will you call me?' She asked. I was about to reply, when my mobile rang. 'Where have you reached?' my friend asked me. 'I am on the way' I replied. 'When will you reach the station?' he asked. 'In another 15 minutes' I replied. 'Ok, come safely' he said and ended the call. 'Who was in the call?' she asked. 'My friend' I said. I could hear people getting ready to get down in the next station. 'When will you return back to Hyderabad?' she asked. 'In another 4 days' I replied. 'So when is your return?' I asked. She said 'June 12th'.
I moved to my seat and started packing my things. 'I will miss you so much Mayank ' she said. I just smiled and didn't say anything. I could see some tears in her eyes. 'I will expect a call from you on June 12th, when I reach Hyderabad' she said. I said 'Sure, I will definitely call you'. The train reached Ernakulam station. At least then I wanted to tell her that I like her very much. I was about to tell her, when I heard someone calling me 'Mayank '. I turned and saw it was my friend. He got into the train and came to me. I wished her happy journey and told her I will call her for sure. We shook hands. 'How are you?' my friend asked me. 'I am good'. I replied. 'How is my mother and how is her health now?' I asked to my friend. 'Nothing to say as of now' he replied. 'Mayank , what happened to your mother?' she asked. 'She is not well and is admitted in the hospital' I told her and the train left.
