Hi,
I just read the five parts in a go. The title got me attracted. I am sure you must have been told that before. Though I dint understand the title completely. Actually not at all. But I am sure I will understand it as the story progresses.
Coming to the storyline, its definitely original and extremely gripping.
I liked the way the two are communicating. An easy companionship. An unsaid understandiing. No frills and flutter. Just what you need for a strong base of a relationship.
PLease add me to your PM list
Thanks

I believe, every person and the way he/she is is an outcome of what their childhood has been like, and what kind of family life they have lead, what consequences have come out from it and what problems u had to face.....you are an outright result of the mess that was your childhood :) you are proving me right with this story of yours, and I believe, this is going to go down in one of the few good ones I have actually found here, forever to be remembered :)

Great work L, you have me smitten...err, with the story of course! :P

hello L,

One thing that is unusual in this gang of friends is that they have shared matters about their personal life with one another. May be the reason is what you have mentioned in the story, i.e., when a case reminds one about his or her past, another person could step in to relieve the pain. But, I am actually surprised by their closeness just like Armaan.

Untill now, every doctor ( Atul, Armaan and Riddhima) has had a dark childhood. Is it something like a unison of people with dark childhood, or is it just a coincidence? Given the fact that every individual will have one or another bad experience in his past, but this is something different from that. I am waiting to know about the remaining characters.

You have been maintaining the suspense in the story very well and I am quite happy about it. Not all suspense stories are successful in it. And it also gets more complex with every chapter. What with everybody being so overprotective for Riddhima.: -D

Anu

Hello Anu,
Thank you very much for your comment.
Their closeness comes from years of being together and always sticking to the group. If people were to run away because one of them had a break down or something, then the person would be reluctant to share something. Everyone in that group has gone through relapse of their hidden trauma (if any) or bad experiences with others. It becomes natural to lean on strength of others to gain inner strength and to overcome personal short comings.
It is sad that most of the time portrayal of "I am so strong that I can handle everything alone" is easily accepted and even appreciated. But in reality it is not a healthy attitude to lead life with. We as humans, need people to survive. And to do that one needs to share life.
Them being together is just a coincidence. I feel that there is a strange attraction between people who have undergone trauma in their lives and they are naturally pulled towards one another. Maybe its hogwash, but I would like to believe that it is possible. At least in this story.
Thanks,
L.

Sur

Hello Sur,
Thank you very much for your comment. All the characters in this story are quite straight forward and honest. It is the ideal scenario I am working with. And there are generally no villian in any story. Here villians are bred and raised by society. Anjali is simply looking out for Riddhima.
Thanks,
L.

Hello Shveta,

Thank you very much for your comment.
About the title: Once I update chapter 7, I will give a brief explanation about title and its significance in the story. Everything in this story is interconnected - from title to my user name - Ling.

Thanks,
L.
