They were sitting on the bed, she had her arms around his neck and looking at him with a amazed look.

A: Aisey kya dekh rahi ho?

R: Soch rahi thi, phir se Armaan ka jaadu sab par chal gaya. I'm sure all the girls of our class are head over heels in love with you and all the boys must be burning with jealousy. But they'll glad that you are already committed for this life and six more.

Armaan burst out laughing and asked "You really think my charm works so fast? Then how come it took such a long time to work on the one person I most wanted it to?" Giving him a mischievious look she asked "How can you be sure it wasn't working. Perhaps that person wasn't acknowledging it."

A: Accha. tell me when did my charm work on you for the first time?

She thought for sometime and said "perhaps when we went for the camp. I liked it when you took my side against di when we were discussing about starting a 'Social Service Ward' in Sanjeevani. Yes, I loved it when you went in the cart and bought slippers for the villagers. No, I think I was charmed by you even before that. Remember when I was to praying to Ganeshji before my first 'child birthing' case. You asked me to talk to my patient, instead of the statue. And I accepted your idea. Actually you know, I myself do not know ke kab tumhara jadoo mujpar chal gaya. It was probably when I met you for the first time in the basket ball court."

Suddenly she realized that she'd been rambling on and Armaan wasn't saying anything. When she looked up at him, she noticed the amused look on his face. "Kya soch rahe ho?"

A: Soch raha tha, how and why you hid the fact from me for so many months even after I confessed my love for you?

R: I think I thought it as a weakness to get charmed by you, so I denied it to myself and was always on my defensive with you. Anyway let bygones be bygones, now I'm totally 'Teri deewani'

She moved on to his lap, pressed her lips against his and then they were lost in a world of their own.

Saturday Riddhima had college so Armaan and the kids enjoyed themselves at home. Akshat was very thrilled by the fact that his brother could sit upright now. He had even started talking to his bhai though in an uncomprehendable language. When Akshat asked for a toy he was playing with, he would shake his head from side to side indicating that he didn't want to part with it.

Armaan was squatting on the floor and watching both his darlings play. Akshat came and sat on his lap and kissed him. Armaan also hugged him. Both of them had become very clsoe in the past few weeks, mainly because both missed Ridddhima terribly. At once the little one crawled upto Armaan and put his head on his lap and started nudging Akshat out. Armaan saw his antics and picked him up in his arms. Immediately he started kicking and pushing Akshat away. Armaan made both of them sit on his either thighs and explained to the little one, "Bhai ko aisey dakkha nahi dete. Kissey kardo bhai ko." The little one licked Akshat's cheek when he brought it near him.

A: Good boy, aisey hi pyaal kalna chahiye bhai ko.

Then he kissed both of them.

In the evening Riddhima came back earlier than expected, disappointing the males. Father and sons had planned to go to pick her and surprise her yet again. Akka opened the door when she rang the bell and enquired how come she was early. Riddhima explained that one of their lecturers had not come, so they left early. Ani usually squealed hearing her voice, but today he was busy palying with his dad and bhai so didn't seem to notice her.

She found father and sons on the quilt. Akshat and Armaan would take turns covering their face with a napkin and Ani would pull it away. They would shout "Bow" when the napkin was removed and Ani would gurgle with laughter. She was very tired but seeing her family like this was so refreshing. She had a qucik wash and came and lay down on the quilt between the three of them. Immediately each of them started kissing her. Akshat kissed her first on one cheek, followed by Armaan on the other and Ani literally climbed on her licking her and biting her.

She moved her head to Armaan's lap and said "Mujhe ninni aa rahi hai."

Ak: Ok aap thodi der ke liye so jao baad mein hum bahar chalenge. Archana aunty ne phone kiya tha.

A: Ya she called about having dinner together tonight.

Akka brought the coffee so both Armaan and Riddhima moved over to the sofa as otherwise Ani wouldn't let them drink. The brothers continued to play among themselves.

A: How was your day? What was Rakesh's reaction?

R: He remained sulking the whole day. Whatever work had to be done, he divided it in such a way that each of us could do it individually and then compile it at the end. Anyways that's how most people do it.

A: Maybe Priya shouldn't have teased him so much.

R: He was really getting on our nerves, following us like a faithful puppy everywhere.

A: We had planned to come and pick you today also. We could go to the beach for sometime if you are ok with it.

R: I would prefer staying at home and playing with the kids.

A: Actually they have been at home the whole day, so I think they would be glad of a little outing.

R: Anyway we are going out for dinner na?

Armaan asked Akshat if it was ok with him if they went out at dinner time and stayed at home now. Akshat said he didn't mind as long as both his parents played with them. Riddhima noticed that Armaan treated Akshat more like a friend, rather than a son. He treated him as his equal, taking his opinion etc. She remembered last night also he had asked Akshat if he wanted to sleep with his mama and had opted to sleep on the floor. But Akshat said he would sleep with Athai.

The family masti and games continued for some more time. But soon Ani fell asleep. Riddhima spent time chatting with Akshat enquring about his school, football etc. Armaan went to catch up with some work on his laptop. At seven all of showered one by one and got ready for their dinner date.

Archana and Kartik took them to a beautiful open air restaurant which was very baby friendly too. There was a play pen for Ani and enjoyed palaying with the different toys in it. As they had their dinner, they spoke of how a month had passed away so quickly. Next Saturday Riddhima would be vacating the flat and leaving for Munnar. Archana promised to help Riddhima with the packing etc, so that Armaan needn't come again to take her. They had already decided that she would take only the necessary things and leave the other things like plastic storage bottles etc. The new tenants who came to that house could use them. After an enjoyable evening, they parted promising to keep in touch even after returning to Munnar.

On Sunday, they made a mid-morning trip to the beach as Akshat wanted to play there on last time. In the afternoon Armaan packed some of Riddhima's clothes, which she wouldn't need the following week, into his bag to take to Munnar, so that she would be left with lesser luggage. As usual bidding goodbye was difficult, but at least they knew that the countdown had begun. In less than a week they would all be back together in their own house.

A: I'll be counting the days now.

Ak: I'll be counting the hours. What time will you be in Munnar on Saturday?

A: They'll be home when you come from school.

Armaan didn't mention that they would be at Kochi by 11 o'clock and he would be going to pick them. He didn't want Akshat to miss one more day of school, for nothing. As usual he called her after checking in and again before boarding the flight.

Riddhima was just going through some notes as Ani was asleep, when Riddhima's cell rang. It was too early for Armaan to have reached Kochi. She picked it up wondering who it might be. It was Archana.

R: Hello Archana,

Ar: Hi, Has Armaan left?

R: Ya,

Ar: He's going to Coimbatore na?

R: No Kochi.

Ar: Kochi? What was his flight number?

Riddhima felt something strange in Archana's questions. Why did she want the flight number?

R: I don't remember the flight number, but it was to leave at 7 pm.

Ar: When did you talk to Armaan last?

R: He called around 6.30 to say they were boarding. Now he'll call after reaching Kochi.

Ar: Ok bye. Catch you later.

Archana turned to Kartik "It's the same flight. What do we do now? How do we tell her? She doesn't seem to have the news. Kartik I'm very scared." She started crying and Kartik also was totally confused not knowing what to do. He had been watching his usual news channel when he saw the flash about the accident of an aircraft leaving for Kochi and informed Archana about it.
