Part 3

Shilpa's Kahaani

Havoc wouldn't even describe the state of her office! She quickly grabbed everything she needed and headed down to her Porsche. She was driving herself to the venue! Normally she uses her driver. But not today

She arrived at the venue, 10minutes ahead of schedule. She hated being late. And what's more is she hates latecomers. She stepped into the large catwalk hall, people turned around as they heard her heels hit the floor whilst she walked in. They all turned, and then chaos began "Shilpa is here, Miss Malhotra can I get you anything? Tea, Coffee? Oh sorry you hate tea. Let me take your bags …Please sit"

"Stop" Was what uttered from Shilpa's mouth.

"I don't need anything thank you. Where are models?"

Voice from behind: "MALHOTRA's MODELS STAT"

They all walked out dressed in Bridal Couture. The stage lit up with Shilpa's designs. They were exhilarating, just took peoples breath away. The stage was, however, undressed. All the lights were yet to be added, the whole backdrop was yet to placed. But Shilpa was happy with what she saw on her models. That was the main part.

Her BlackBerry vibrated in her bag. She grabbed it whilst talking to the set producer about the lighting and so on, it was a message from her assistant:

"From: P.A Isha

Hi Shilpa, All the invites have sent, the last seating plan details have been added.

Shoes and Accessories will be there on the day, as per confirmation.

Thanks"

Shilpa was happy to read the message, everything was going in order. Finally.

It was late, dark and Shilpa was starving. She had asked Isha to book her a table for one at Arabian Nights, one of Shilpa's favourite restaurants. She was eating alone. But it didn't effect her.

After dinner, she reached home at 11pm. She was knackered. So tired. She grabbed Ben & Jerry's tub from the freezer, sat in front of her plasma TV and put on Kuch Kuch Hota Hain. She loved that movie. She love Ben & Jerrys too, but once again. She was lonely.

Although being strict at the workplace. She was a softie at heart. She was so level headed, did not think of herself as successful and huge in the industry. She considered herself as everyone else. She just lacked the company of someone in her life. Someone special. Someone who could give all the love she was in search for.

It was a huge search. She needed strong, successful, good looking and level headed. Her mother had continuously bugged about getting an arranged marriage, but she always said no. She wanted to succeed alone in this big world. She got her break in Fashion when she was just 19years Old.

And ever since then she has travelled alone on this long, long journey through the world.

Taking every step with caution, living the dream one week in Mumbai, the next in New York, the next in London: But where will life take her next?
