Hi guys I'm back with more of our favourite Jodi our Dufford couple SANRAJ!

Continued from Moti's Bidaai Part 14, Pg43 this is before the 5 year leap which I ended on Bandini Forum. So guys those if you need to get the jest of where we are at the story, please read Moti's Bidaai and the Sanraj story continues from there and here goes.................😛

Purchase Flashback

Part 17

Its been few weeks since Moti left, the household is getting used to Moti's departure but life goes on in the Mahiyavanshi Mansion.

Santu fanning her face with the end of her saree, its a warm morning, beautiful day outside, Santu decided to have a spring clean of Sanraj wardrobe. Santu is sitting on the bed sorting through DM's Kurtas and folding her sarees and Santu picks up a green saree DM purchased for her from Antwerp. FLASHBACK...

ANTWERP 2 WEEKS AGO

Sanraj car has stopped at traffic lights, across the road there is a small shopping Mall, Santu looks out the window and sees that there is a saree shop and sees the window display with beautifully draped sarees on the manikins in different colours and styles all with diamond studded work. Santu smiles to herself and looks back to the front of the car straight ahead. DM looks from the direction Santu was staring from and then looks back at Santu waiting for her to say something but he doesn't get a response. DM tells the driver to turn the car round at the roundabout and pull up outside the otherside of the road. DM gets out the car and walks round to Santu's side of the car and opens the door and gestures Santu to get out.

Santu: Kya Malik why have we stopped here?

DM: Chal come with me.

DM holds on to Santu's arm as they cross the little side road and they walk into the Mall. Santu looks at the shop window and realises that they are entering the saree shop she was looking at, at the traffic lights, Reshma's Silk House. Puzzled why they have come in here as they have done all their shopping and they should be making their way back to the hotel as DM has a meeting with Mr Andrews and Sumil Bhai in the evening.

Shop Ass: Can I help you sabb?

DM: I want to purchase a saree like the ones that are on the window display. Can you show me the sarees and what colours you have.

Shop Assistant goes to the back of the shop and comes back out with a whole bundle of sarees and puts them infront of DM and Santu.

DM: Chal, pick a saree.

Santu: Who for, Baa, Thoral, Khaddu, Motiben? We have bought them all sarees?

DM: Ey Dufford, Tere li yeh! (Dufford for you!)

Santu: Mere li yeh? (For me?)

DM: Ha, Tere li yeh! we have done everyones shopping but we have not got anything for you?

Santu: Par Malik, I bought some curtains and new bedspread?

DM: Areh tu kevi dufford? who comes to Antwerp and buys curtains and bedspread? Forget that, thats for our room, what about you, you haven't purchased anything for yourself and you've purchased a gift for everyone else?

Santu: Malik its ok, you don't have to buy me anything, I am ok, reneh dew.

DM smacks his head and asks the Shop Assistant to show him the sarees, another Shop Assistant comes and helps hold the sarees whilst wrapping the sarees round her to show how the sarees looks nicely draped. DM looks at them but shakes his head, no not blue, not pink, not red, not yellow, not black and then he sees a lovely two toned green saree with diamond studded work and gets up and picks it out from the pile, takes it out the packet and holds it up against himself looking at Santu. Both the Shop Assistant look at eachother and stare at DM. DM unfolds the Saree and drapes it on himself and says..... 😆

DM: Sarass Cheh, Santudi this will look beautiful on you.

Santu: Ha it looks beautiful but it looks even more beautiful on you Malik! Hahahahaha 😆

Santu cannot control her laughter, her laugh is getting louder and the customers are starting to look towards their way, both the Shop Assistants cannot hold it in but look away and hide their giggles, one of the Shop Assistants kneels down and starts tidying away the sarees DM rejected and walks off. DM realises that its not just him and Santu but he also has an audience, he looks at Santu and gives her a scrunched up nose smile and then says

DM: Tuh?

DM lifts up his eyebrows and asks her with a movement of his head, Santu nods her head in agreement and uncovers her mouth but her smile is still spread across her face, DM hands the saree to the Shop Assistant and tells her he will take it and asks her to pack it and looks at Santu and shakes his head but smiles back at Santu.

BACK AT THE HOTEL - EVENING

Santu gets DM's clothes ready and hands him a new Kurta, its a burnt orange coloured kurta, she purchased this Kurta for DM when DM was not looking. DM looks at it and tells her he loves it and takes it from Santu and puts it on. Santu looks at him thinking wow, the colour is perfect on him and it is a cut which fits DM's physic perfectly. Santu stands there admiring her husband from all angles thinking he looks younger by the day he doesn't look like he is in his early 50s and there is a glow in his skin and eyes which she has not seen in him in a long time, the distance and tension from Moti had affected him but day by day he was getting used to Moti not being at MMansion but with Kanji in his house. Office work kept DM busy, Mahiyavanshi Diamond Works is doing extremely well as now Hiten and Moulik have joined the family business full time and DM is showing them the ropes and how he wants all his business matters to be dealt with, no client is big nor small, all should give each assignment 1000% attention and devotion and nothing less. When DM came home from his busy days, Santu gave him extra attention not that it was hard for her as all she wanted was to be with him when he got home from work so all day Santu would rush through all her housework so that she would have free time in the evening which she spent with DM and DM was extremely happy that his priya Santudi thought about him as much as she thought about the other family members, Santu was one person shared between a whole household but ever way Santu always made time for her husband. Their alone time 😳

DM: Shoo Santudi, ese mujeh kya deku? (why are you looking at me like that?)

Santu: Kuch nai, uppe bahoot handsome lugrayay iss kurtameh! (nothing your looking very handsome in this kurta)

DM puts his hand on his hip and twirls his moochi with a smile and tells Santu to get dressed and they will meet Mr Andrews downstairs.

DOWNSTAIRS IN THE HOTEL LOBBY

Mr Andrews: Good Afternoon Mr Mahiyavanshi welcome back, I am looking forward to our new business venture and may I ask who is this lovely lady?

DM: This is my..my...Mrs, Mrs DM.

Santu greets Mr Andrews by saying Jai Shi Krishna.

Mr Andrews: Mr Mahiyavanshi can I just say your wife is very beautiful.

DM: Ha, ha, beautiful bery beautiful, sarass cheh!

DM puts his arm around Santu and Santu looks at DM and blushes 😳 DM looks at Santu with big smile on his face and thinks how beautiful his Santudi looks in the saree but she has made the saree look more beautiful with her natural beauty. They have an eye lock 😍 Flashback ends with a smile on Santu's face when Suraj walks in eating a chicken drumstick, the smell is getting to Santu 😵
