Hey guys!! Here I come with the second last chapter of the FF! Well, this one's dedicated to two of my fave people in the whole world. 🤗 Do leave your comments and hit the like tab. 😳

First is my best friend. Who's on with problems and some more problems and is away. Pray for him. I hope he's fine. 😕

Chapter 18

Nupur went up to her friends, Mayank and Gunjan who were seated at the table where all the near and dear ones were supposed to dine. "Mayank . . do you know any guy who has the same name and surname as of yours and is invited at the party?" she whispered in his ears. But the whisper was loud enough for Gunjan to hear. 😆 "Yes, my love. Ye jo ladka hai na . . ye bhi Mayank Mehra hi hai. He's my cousin you see. Maternal. Tere jitna hai." said Gunjan. 😉 "Like I care!" said Nupur and left.

A week passed away and then came the day of the Mehandi Ceremony. "I can't believe em getting married at the age of 22!" said Mayank to his best friend, Nupur. "Happens, my love. Kisne kaha tha 12th mein ladki patane ko?" she replied. 😆 "Shut up Nupur! Em serious." - "So am I! Sacha!" she said. 😆

Someone knocked at the door, "Who's it?" said Mayank. The guy came in . . it was the other Mayank, Gunjan's cousin. "Mayank! Hey, come on in." Mayank said. 😆

Mayank 2: Hey! Mind if I call you Jeeju?
Mayank 1: Of course not. Shaadi karra hun toh ab buddhe logoon ke naam bhi mere naam ke aage lagenge hi na! Aaj Jeeju . . kal uncle! Man!!

Nupur burst out laughing. 😆 "Well . . actually dude. Better not call him Jeeju! Aaj ye wali bakwas ki hai. Shaadi ke baad kuch aur keh ke pakayega." she told the OTHER Mayank.

The bride, Gunjan was getting Mehandi applied. After all the work Nupur was supposed to do was done, it was her turn to get the Mehandi done.
Nupur was totally engrossed in looking at her palm and closely observing how the designs were being made. Just then, the OTHER Mayank came up to her and said, "Hey! I'm Mayank." "Hey! I know that!" 😆 "Ye mazak tha . . ke you were being rude?" he asked. "None of em my love. This is just the way I talk. Aur aisi main pure 8 mahine baad hui hun. Jaisi main pehle thi." she said. And then the flashback was on. She remembered she was this chirpy and bubbly girl once and then the love thingy changed her over . . well, she wasn't exactly the same now also because somewhere she was still in love with MAYANK 1 😆 . . but she somehow managed to bring out her real self once again. "Accha toh 8 mahine pehle kya hua tha?" he asked. "baad mein bataun? Abhi masa masa khush hone ka mauka mila hai." she joked. 😆 "As you say!" he said, gave her a smile and left.

The groom was looking at them both and overheard the conversation. "I hope Nupur moves on! Mayank seems to be the perfect guy! And he kind of likes her too! Par main filhaal cupidgiri na karun toh accha hai!" he said to himself and headed straight towards his best friend.

Mayank: Chal . . Gunjan ki mehendi dekhli, ab teri baari.
Nupur: Ye dekh! Ise kehte hain . . acchi wali MEHENDI! 😆
Mayank: Bilkul bilkul!! 😆 Well, it's looking really nice you know. And I'm really happy for you!
Nupur: Better be happy for yourself and ab jeb mein 2-2 creams rakh ke ghumna . . shaadi ke baad kabhi bhi Gunjan neeche gir sakti hai aur uske pair pe lagane ke liye dawai . . tujhe ever ready rehena padega. Aur meri wali cream toh pehele se hi thi. 😉

Nupur was at the terrace. Absolutely alone. She was really happy. She was actually getting over it. She had by now realized that it is Gunjan Mayank's really meant for. And they're both really in love. And as always their happiness was prior to her. Though, she was afraid both Mayank and Gunjan won't have time for her.

"8 mahine pehle ki baat soch rahi ho kya?" asked the new Mayank, patting her shoulder. "Oh hi!!" she said and wiped of her tears. "Tum ro rahi thi?" he asked, in a concerned voice. "Haan. Lagta toh hai!" 😆

"Man! How can someone crack a joke even after being depressed? I have never come across a girl like her. I like her." he thought to himself.

Finally, the day of the wedding... it was Mayank Mehra and Gunjan Mathur's wedding. Every body was busy with his/her respective work. Nupur was standing on a stool, doing up the flower decoration. She lost balanced and fell down. "AAAAAAAAH!" she shouted. Mayank was there itself, he was about to go to her but he saw the other Mayank running up to her with utmost concerned eyes. And therefore, he didn't go and preferred his going up to her.

"I can't let Nupur be totally dependent on me,. I have always let my friendship take over her and have made her used to me going up to her whenever she's in some problem. I had my love in my life but I practically never have let someone else come in her life and let her experience what true love actually is. This fellow is the one, I can sense that. And I won't let my friendship come in between." Mayank said to himself and smiled.

"You okay?" the other Mayank asked. "Yeah . . I'm fine." "Here, hold me! I'd take you to your room!" He gave her his support and led her up the staircase to her room. He applied some cream on her ankle and put a bandage over it. "Thanks!" Nupur said. "Your always welcome." he said and left.
