Next day, in office:
Nupur came and saw Mayank working on his desk. Everyday she wished him Good morning, but today she pretended she hadn't noticed him. Mayank looked up from his PC and saw Nupur setting her desk. He wished her.
M: Hey, Nupur, Good morning.
N: Hi. (Not interested tone)
M: (Thinking) Ab ise kya ho gaya? God knows. Kitni unpredictable hoti he ye Girls bhi.
Just then Suhani entered.
Su: Hey, Mayank. Good morning. How are you?
M: Fine.
Su: Subah subah busy ho kya? Thik se reply bhi nahi kar rahe ho?
Nupur was listening of course. She was fuming in anger.
M: (Thinking) Ek Nupur he jo thik se baat nahi kar rahi he, aur ek ye Suhani... Pata nahi har vaqt kaha se tapak jati he?
Nupur saw Samrat coming towards their desk, and she said excitedly, "Hi, Sammy, how are you?"
S: Hey, Nups, I am fine. Good morning.
And Nupur called Samrat near her desk and they started their chit-chat as usual.
Mayank was literally showing his anger on key-board. (he, he, he...)
M (Thinks): Lagta he, use me pasand hi nahi hu. Shayad use Samrat pasand hoga. Nahi... Samrat ki engagement to unke relative ki daughter se fix ho chuki he. Magar Nupur ko thodi na ye pata hoga? (He again glances att Nupur and Samrat. They were laughing while talking and just then Nupur gave a high-five to Samrat. Mayank looked back to the PC irritated by this.)
Suhani came to Mayank. "Umm... Mayank... Ye dekho na, mujhe ye code samaj hi nahi aa raha he. To help kar do na please."
Mayank diverted his mind to the project and work once more. "Ya, Sure."
Nupur was glancing at Mayank after every few minutes. She noticed that Mayank was engrossed in helping out Suhani.
N: (Thinking) Agar ye Suhani ko explain kar raha he to meri is trick se kya faida hoga?
S: Kya hua Nups, Kaha kho gayi?
N: Kuchh nahi, Sammy, Bas ab tension ho raha he. Vo bahot sara kaam he na to aaj hi khatam bhi to karna he.
S: Ok, tum kaam khatam karo, Me Mayank se mil ke fir apne kaam me lagta hu.
N: Rehne do na, busy he.
S: Hmm.... Kya?
N: Kuchh nahi. Sure, bye. See you in lunch break.
S: Ya! Bye.
Just then Rishabh and Pranav came. They also greeted Nupur and talked with her for some minutes.
Here Samrat came to Mayank, and Suhani left for her desk.
Mayank was talking to Samrat and was stealing glancing at Nupur, too. He saw Nupur talking heartily with Rishabh and Pranav. She was talking about the random topics. Here, Mayank was confused.
M:(Thinking) I think, use mujh se koi problem he. Par kya? I mean, kal tak to sab kuchh thik tha. Kal rat ko bhi to jate vaqt thik thi. Ghar ja ke itna sudden change kese ho gayi, ki aaj jese mujhe pehchanti bhi nahi?
N (Talking to Pranav and Rishabh but thinking, too): Pata nahi ye Mayank jealous ho bhi raha he ya nahi? Me kya karu? Ab in jokers ko bhi tolerate kar rahi hu, Mayank ke liye, aur vo he ki... Ab canteen me lunch ke time kuchh karna padega shayad. Magar kya karu? Chhodo, kuchh na kuchh to karoogi.
After some time, Samrat went towards his desk and Pranav-Rishabh also left Nupur alone.
Mayank looked towards Nupur. She was looking at her PC screen, but was in deep thought. It looked like she was stuck somewhere in between.
M: (Thinking) Lagta he use kuchh problem he. Kya karu? Jau? Help karu? But... Vo kese react karegi, pata nahi. Agar usne mujh se zagda kiya to? Magar thik se bhi to baat kar sakti he na vo. Jata hu. Dude, all the best. Because she is Nupur.
As he was standing up from his desk, Suhani called him on her desk.
Su: Mayank, dekho na, ye file open nahi ho rahi he.
Mayank had no other option but to go and help her. He went on her desk and was busy with her PC.
N: (Angry like anything) File open nahi ho rahi he, to apne dimag ki khidki khol. (In a mocking voice) Jab dekho, Mayank... Ye nahi ho raha he. Mayank vo nahi ho raha he. Mayank please help kar do. Pura din... Mayank, Mayank... Aur koi he hi nahi na is duniya me jo use help kar sake.
Diya, who was coming towards Nupur saw her from some distance. She was murmuring to herself.
D: Hi, Nupur, kya hua? Koi problem he kya?
N: Hi, Diyam kuchh bhi to nahi. I am fine.
D: To phir tum akeli khud se kya batein kar rahi thi?
N: Kuchh nahi. Ye doubt he. Dekho na, is ka output nahi aa raha he.
D: Lao, me dekhti hu.
Diya tried to execute, and saw that it is perfectly working.
D: Nupur... Kya dekha tha tumne? Ye to bilkul thik he.
N: Kya thik he, Diya? Life me kuchh bhi thik nahi he. (Still in her own thoughts.)
D: Nupur!!!
N: Aur nahi to kya? Jo bhi subah se try kar rahi hu sab fail ho raha he.
D: Umm... Ok, me bad me ati hu.
She went towards Suhani's desk and talked to Suhani and Mayank. Nupur saw that Mayank was talking nicely to Diya, too.
N: Bas ek mujh se hi ise kya problem he pata nahi? Koi baat nahi, after all, I am Nupur Bhushan. Aaj to mission impossible ko possible karna hi hoga. Par kese?
Lunch break:
Whole the group was siting in canteen. Mayank, Nupur, Samrat, Diya, Pranav, Rishabh and of course Suhani.
Mayank was sitting between Nupur and Suhani. Samrat was on other side of Nupur. Then Diya, Pranav and Rishabh. As it was a circular dining table, Rishabh was between Pranav and Suhani.
As they opened their lunch boxes...
Su: Mayank, ye dekho, Rajmaa... Tum bata rahe the na ki tumhe pasand he, to mene mom ko bola tha banane ke liye.
M: Oh, Thanks Suhani.
Mayank took a bite from her lunch-box. Nupur instantly turned towards Samrat.
N: Sammy, tumhe palak paneer bahot pasand he na, Diya kal bata rahi thi.
S: Ha, kyu?
N: To mene khud tumhare liye banaya he. Ye lo.
And she gave the lunch box to Samrat.
S: Wow, Nups, You are the most sweetest friend in the world.
N: Thank you. Taste kar ke batao, kesa he?
Samrat took one spoon in hand and then stopped in middle...
S: Nups, pehle ek baat batao...
N: Kya?
S: Ise khana safe to he na?
N: Sammy... (She hits him on shoulder)
As Samrat said that, Suhani burst into laughter and Mayank couldn't help but laughed slightly.
Nupur glared at Mayank. Mayank stopped laughing.
M: Sorry, wo...
N: It's alright... Vese bhi tumhe tension lene ki koi jaroorat nahi he... Tumhe to punjabi pasand nahi. To ye khane ki bhi koi jaroorat nahi he tumhe.
M: magar mujhe to taste karna he. Punjabi bhale hi pasand na ho, par mujhe taste karne me kya problem hogi?
Nupur turned her face away. "Rehne do, safe nahi he health ke liye."
S: Hey, Nups, I was joking, yaar.
N: I know, Sammy, it's alright. To batao, kesa he?
S: Fantastic.
N: Thanks.
S: Vese tumhe cooking itna achha ata he, ye mujhe nahi pata tha.
N: Actually, I can cook Chinese very well. Punjabi me kuchh hi sabji acchhi banti he. Because I don't like punjabi food much, you know.
M: Me too. I love chinese food.
Nupur was going to reply him but befor that..
Su: Wow, Mayank... Hum kitne similar he na? Mujhe punjabi bilkul pasand nahi he.
Nupur and Mayank both were getting jealous and angry at the same time.
Rest of the day passed without any other event. Some days passed this way, nupur trying to make Mayank jealous and Suhani irritating Nupur by her continuous talking with Mayank.
One day:
At 7:00 in night:
Almost whole the office was empty.
Mayank and Nupur had deadline of their project so they were still working.
Diya came to Nupur, "Hey, Nupur, tumne abhi tak pack up nahi kiya he? Chalo, we are getting late.
N: Diya, me late aaugi. Tum jao. Mujhe shayad 1 hour lag jayega. Aaj ye module submit karna hi hoga. Deadline he na to...
D: Ok, So tum aa jana. Me jaa rahi hu.
N: Hm.. Bye.
D: Bye, and take care. Jaldi karna. Varna raat ko der ho jayegi.
N: Ok, Diya, thanks.
Diya leaves and Nupur gets busy in work again.
Mayank was working when Pranav, Rishabh, and Samrat came.
P: Mayank, let's go.
M: Tum log jao, mujhe kaam he. Aaj deadline he to ye complete karna hi hoga.
S: Chal na, dude... Kal early morning karoge to nahi chalega?
M: Nahi, Samrat.. It's really urgent.

All the boys meet Nupur and leave. Suhani was also working on her PC. After half an hour, she stood up to leave.
Su: Bye, Mayank, Nupur, me jaa rahi hu.
M: Bye.
N: Bye.
Su: Nupur, tumhara agar complete ho gaya ho to chalo na mere sath. Me drop kar dugi tumhe ghar.
N: Don't worry, Suhani. Me scooty layi hu. Aur mujhe der he.
Su (Disappointed): Ok, mujhe ghar pe time ka restriction he, varna me wait karti.
N: It's fine Suhani. I am okay.
Suhani leaves after glancing at both for the last time.
After some time, Mayank finished work and looked at Nupur. She was working and was looking literally tired.
M: Nupur.
N: Haan?
M: Kitni der he tumhe?
N: Thodi der he, par mujhe thik nahi lag raha he.
M: Kya hua?
N: Thoda headache he. Aur ankh me dard ho raha he. Aur upar se ye errors solve nahi ho rahi he.
M: Ek kam karo, tum washroom ja kar muh dho ke fresh ho jao. Us se ankho ka dard kam ho jayega..
N: Aur kaam kon karega?
M: Me dekhta hu. Lao.
N: Nahi, me thik hu Mayank. Tum jao. Me ye finish kar dugi thodi der me.
M: Magar Nupur...
N: Please Mayank. Leave me alone.
M: As you wish. He leaves from there.
Nupur finishes her work in some time, and goes to the parking place. She saw Mayank sitting there on his bike, his head resting on the steering.
She was surprised to see him there. She goes to him and says, "Mayank.."
Mayank looks towards her. " Oh. Aa gayi tum?, Ho gaya complete?"
N: Ha, sab ho gaya but tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?
M: Vo actually, mene tumhara scooty parking place me nahi dekha to laga ki shayad tum Diya ke sath ayi hogi aaj.
N: Arre, ha... Me to bhul hi gayi thi. Ab kya karu?
M: Kya kya karu? Me yaha kab se wait kar raha hu to obviously tumhare liye hi ruka tha na?
N: Magar tum to upar se adhe ghante pehle hi nikal gaye the fir..
M: Agar vapis upar ata to tum phir se shuru ho jati "Mayank, leave me alone, me chali jaugi, blah blah blah.."
N: Mayank... Tum na.. sudhroge nahi kabhi. Mujhe nahi jaana he tumhare sath.
M (Getting angry now): Thik he, to raho yaha parking me. Kyuki ye area city se dur he, to koi auto vala tumhe dhundhne nahi ayega... Ki Nupur madam he ya chali gayi?
Nupur tries to speak something but was cut by Mayank soon.
M: Aur ha.. Last bus ka time 7:00 hota he. And it's already 8:30.
N: Me... me... chali jaugi. Tum jao.
M: Thik he. Bye.
And Mayank turns to leave. Then he looks at Nupur and notices that she was looking at her feet silently with a puppy face. He sits on the bike and waits for Nupur to sit after giving ignition.
Nupur thinks that she has no option except going with him. So she sits on the bike and Mayank starts the bike. Mayank was driving smoothly. He saw that at some distance ahead one dog was crossing road
so he stopped the bike in an instance.
As there was a jerk, Nupur bumped into him.
N: Ouch..
M: Sorry, vo dog tha...
N: (Straightening) It's Ok.
M: Thik se pakdo, Nupur.
N: Mene thik se hi pakda he.
M: Dikh raha he.
Nupur was holding the back part of the seat. So Mayank reached for her hands, put her hands on his shoulder and started the bike again.
Nupur was feeling the different feeling as her hands were on his shoulder. Her hand was trembling as it was cold night. Mayank wanted this ride to never end. As he arrived the area in which Nupur lived, he asked her where exactly she lived.
Nupur showed him the street and guided him about her house.
M: Ye lo, aa gaya, tumhara ghar.
Nupur gets down from the bike.
N: Thanks and umm... sorry.
M: Welcome. It was my duty.
N: Bye.
M: Good night.
Nupur leaves and Mayank sits on his bike looking at her until she is finally out of her sight.
As she was in home, Mayank started the bike.
After some time.... In the Internet World...
Nupur and Mayank both became online at almost same time on DMG Forum.
A: Hey, Basket, Are you there?
R: Hi, Arman. I just came.
A: Me too.
R: So, how was the day?
A: Tiresome.
R: Same here. But you know what?
A: What?
R: Arman, I am so happy today. But thoda... nahi, actually bahot gussa bhi hu.
A: What happened Basket? Tumhare Ammy ne ab kya kiya?
R: Me kitne dino se use jealous karne ki koshish kar rahi hu.. But koi fayda nahi he.
A: He he, lagta he tumhara Ammy bilkul SADU he.
R: Arman!!!!!
A: Ok, sorry, basket, really sorry.
R: Mere Ammy ko sadu mat kaho. Aur tumhari Miss Attitude ka kya haal he, ye to batao?
A: Basket, vo meri Ridzy he. Don't call her miss Attitude, ok?
R: Agar tum Ammy ko Sadu bulaoge, to me Ridzy ko akdu bulaugi. Akdu miss attitude.

R: To ek kam karo, tum na, use thode din ignore karo. Like jese me Ammy ko ignore kar rahi hu, aur uske friends ke sath baat kar ke use jealous kar ne ki bahot sari KOSHISH kar rahi hu. Vese hi.
A: Are you sure, it will work?
R: Why?
A: I mean, tumhare case me to koi fayda nahi hua.
R: Are, girls jaldi jealous hoti he. It will surely do some trick So just start from tomorrow.
A: Ok. Basket. I am now waiting for tomorrow. I know exactly whom I have to talk to so that my Ridzy will get jealous.
