Chapter 3:The class got over and Nupur rushed out of her seat,with Diya closely following at her heels.
"Nupur,wait up...Why r u running away dis way??" Diya pulled at her elbow to bring her to a stop.
"Running??Me??Oh no...no Diya..." Nupur stammered,hoping with all her might to sound convincing.
"Hmmm...What was that all about?" Diya gestured towards Mayank,who was rushing out the door himself...Probably going to the library or the lab!!Where else?? she thought,amused.
Nupur looked lost for a second before answering "What?"
Diya rolled her eyes as they started walking out of the class..."Oh please,Nupur....Cut it out...I noe u're thinking the same thing,dat why in the World was Mayank Sharma,of all people,defending you??"
Nupur looked at her best friend and smiled...She just couldn't hide her emotions from her,however hard she may try...
"Haan...soch to rahi hun..." she said sheepishly.."First time usko class mein question ke answer ki jagah kuch aur bolte dekha!!" She commented with a giggle...
Diya joined in her laughter...
Nupur stopped laughing as she glanced at her watch..."By God,Diya,humari baton mein kitna time nikal gaya...Lets hurry..We're getting late for the Drama class!!"
"Oh ya!!Usse yaad aya...What are we having for the annual play this year??" Diya hastened her steps to match up wid Nupur's frantic walk...
"Pata nahi,Diya...But I heard Tamanna maam discussing with the Princi ki iss baar grand scale pe play hoga!!I'm so excited,by God!!" Nupur clapped her hands together and smiled broadly at Diya...
Diya smiled back serenely as they walked towards their class...

Gunjan walked into the canteen,with Annie at her side and sat down at one of the tables after giving her order...She looked around the canteen and smiled inwardly at all the guys looking at her with longing and their girlfriends with jealousy...
Typical!!One face stood out in the crowd...It was that guy from Di's class...the one she would always curse and abuse...What was his name again?? Gunjan could never understand why Nupur always felt such hatred towards him;he seemed pretty decent to her and good-looking too...In fact she could never understand why she was always so critical and sceptical about everyone!!Gunjan was lost in her thoughts when RV came to her table and spoke to her,"Hey babes!!Do you mind if I join you??" he said,turning on his charm to the fullest...Gunjan smiled at him...See,he seems so well-mannered too!! She gestured him to join her.RV sat down and glanced over at Annie,as if trying to shoo her off from there,but it was missed by Gunjan as the waiter came to place her coffee on the table."Ermm...Im Ranvijay...Naam to suna hi hoga??" he spoke with the same arrogant air...Gunjan choked on her coffee...She has definitely heard that line somewhere before,but couldn't recall where!"Haan,You're in my sister's class,I suppose?" Gunjan said,overcoming her initial reaction..."Oh yes!!That......" RV stopped midway...Dude!control...you cant risk upsetting her!! He gave her a fake sweet smile and continued "Yes,Im in Nupur's class.."Gunjan smiled back...RV seemed genuinely nice...Now she was sure her sister had some problem with people on the whole!!Just then,the bell rang...Gunjan got up and started gathering her books..."Hey listen,Gunjan...Can I take you out somewhere after college today??" RV asked finally...Gunjan looked up,surprised..."Uh'woh'actually Ranvijay,Im not allowed to date!!" RV's brow clouded as Gunjan left hurriedly...His friend Vikas joined him and slapped his back.."Dude,forget it...She's out of reach...Even for you!!" "No one's out of reach for RV!!""You wanna put money on that??"RV turned around and smirked "Money I've got...This I'll do for fun!!" he looked at Gunjan's retreating figure and smiled evilly.....***************
