Armaan held Bharti's wrist and asked her to wait while he grabbed some leaves big enough to cover both of their heads. Bharti smiled at him while he offered Bharti a lift back home. Bharti held the leaves on top of her's and Armaan's heads along the journey back home. Both of them were chatting non-stop and Bharti was almost getting tired by holding the leaves but the rains weren't stopping. Armaan stopped his bike at his home and Bharti was surprised.

Bharti:Looks like someone forgot that I don't stay here any longer..

Armaan:Well it's not that I've forgotten..Someone close to both of us wishes to meet you eagerly..

Bharti:Who??

Armaan:Come in with me..(slid his hand in Bharti's hand and went in with her)

Armaan rang the doorbell.

Armaan:Look whom I have brought with me..

Bharti:Mom!!!When did you come back??

Sudha:OMG Bharti come in...Bohat dher kardi tum dono ne aane mein...

Bharti:Hi Jiya and Raj..

Sudha:They've been here for some time..Come in, I've got lots to tell you..

Bharti went in with Sudha while Armaan locked the door and talked to Jiya and Raj. The three of them were amazed to see Bharti and Sudha talk and laugh incessantly, as though both of them just met after a long mode of separation. Armaan couldn't help but smile and he was about to go to them but Jiya stopped him.

Jiya:Just where do you think you are going??

Armaan:What happened?

Raj:Where did you two go off to??We've been trying to contact you since afternoon but your mobiles were not reachable..

Armaan:Actually the police had reached Bharti's place in the morning and she, unaware of our plans, had escaped from the police in the police jeep...After I left MU, I came home and thought of going to search for Bharti..Just then Maa came and I gave her an excuse that Bharti had gone out for a while and I had promised her that I'll bring Bharti with me..And here I am with her..Actually a stranger helped me find Bharti for he had seen her get off the police jeep..Eventually I found her and it was already 7 by then...So yeah...How long have you two been here??

Jiya:Well about one and a half hours back, listening to Sudha aunty's stories..We totally didn't expect her here for we had come to see you..

Armaan:Glad all's well for now..

Raj:Not exactly dude..What about Bharti not staying here??What excuse have you got for that??

Jiya:Good point Raj..Sshh..aunty's coming..

Raj:Yeh kya baat huyi Aunty??Aapki bahu ki aane se humein bhool gayi kya??

Sudha:Uffo Raj...Aisi koi baat nahin hai..It's just that I missed her so much...

Armaan:Bharti,is it time for you to go??

Bharti:Yeah it's quite late already..Actually Mom, I was having a sleepover party at Alisha's place with Sanju and Armaan had come since you wanted to see me..So I had come..I gotta go..I'll see you soon,yeah??

Sudha:(pretended not to be surprised) Hhmm alright but you've got to spend time with me tomorrow!!Or else you can't leave tonight!!

Bharti:Ok Mom..I'll come for sure..Raj and Jiya can drop me off...

Raj:Ok Aunty we'll make a move as well too..Take care..

Sudha:Sure, keep coming often,yeah??

Jiya:Of course Aunty..yeh bhi koi kehne ki baat hai??Bye Aunty...

Sudha:(smiled) Bye..

Bharti turned to leave as well. Armaan was standing at the door. Just then Bharti turned and ran to Armaan and hugged him for some time.Armaan was totally surprised form the hug and soon he broke off from the hug, making Bharti feel so awkward and a little embarassed for what she had done. However before leaving, Bharti kissed Armaan on his cheek, thanking him for helping her out in the most unexpected times and wished him Good night. As she walked slowly, she couldn't help but smile at what she just did. Meanwhile Armaan was totally confused at Bharti's sudden gesture, trying to figure out of what's going on in her mind and if she simply did so out of a friendly gesture or if there was a deeper meaning to it. He smiled nonetheless and went inside and locked the door. As he turned, he saw Sudha looking at him. He wondered what had happened as she held Armaan's hand and brought him to the balcony.

Sudha:I knew something was going on..I just didn't show it on my face but why was Bharti lying??Where's she gone to??Did anything happen in my absence??

Armaan:Maa I wish to tell you everything, especially the big truth revolving around Bharti and me which both of us hid from you...In fact Bharti wanted to tell you earlier but I told her not to tell you anything and that I'll tell you instead of her..Ok let's sit down for this is going to take a while..

Sudha:What's the matter Armaan??

Armaan:Bharti and I are only married for a year, as per the contract marriage we both agreed on..In fact I agreed to her condition at the point of time simply to take revenge on her due to a big misunderstanding..You do know about it all, don't you??(Sudha nodded) Now as for in your absence, a lot of things had happened between and Bharti..(narrated about his and Bharti's fight which led her to leave home, Bharti staying at Bhaskar;s and Payal's guesthouse, Bharti's housewarming party at which Bharti forgave him, Bharti losing her 8 lakhs, Vinita's and Gyaan's planning to which Armaan, Jiya,Mahi and Raj were aware of and how they had saved Bharti's money, police arriving at Bharti's place and how she had escaped and finally Armaan bringing Bharti back)

Sudha:Is that all or do you have even more??

Armaan:Sorry Maa..I was so confused of what to do that I couldn't tell you anything at all...I'm really sorry..

Sudha:Contract marriage??Was I even forcing you into marriage then that you had to agree instantly??I can try and understand that there was pressure from Bharti's parents but I didn't compel you into anything in any way...Oh how can I forget that my dear son had to take revenge based on a silly grudge that he had been holding back...Arrgghhh...You two are really...

Armaan:Crazy??

SudhaImpossible..that's the word!!Shaadi koi bacho ka khel nahin hain..It's a pure,divine realtion which binds two souls together..but No!!You two have to make a mockery out of it...

Armaan:Maa why don't you see it as this way that both of us have helped Bharti from the whole mess of marriage alliances...

Sudha:Waise whose idea was this??

Armaan:actually Bhaskar gave Bharti the idea..Initially she wasn't sure but Bhaskar talked her into it..And no one especially me, thought that it would end this way...Can't believe that 5 months is almost over..

Sudha:And the rest of it..who's to be blamed??

Armaan:Me and my anger..Maa I keep breaking my promise to you of controlling my anger..I feel so horrible of the fact that because of my anger I keep hurting the ones who are close to me, especially you..

Sudha:Armaan, you can't control your anger overnight..It takes a lot of determination and strong will, which I know you have it in you..Don't give up trying..In all these mess, I'm glad of some things..I'm glad that you've realized your fault and asked for forgiveness instantly..I'm glad that you defended Bharti when she was about to lose her job and more than anything, I'm ever so proud of you for standing by her side and comforting her when there was no one with her..You can't imagine how thankful she must be for your help..

Armaan:Thanks Maa..I actually feel so much lighter having shared everything with you..I'm so glad that you're back..This is how I truly realize how much I've missed your love..

Sudha:Why didn't you let Bharti tell me everything earlier??

Armaan:Cuz I feared that you might misunderstand Bharti and be angry with her..

Sudha:How very interesting Armaan...

Armaan:Kya Maa??

Sudha:Kuch nahin Armu..

Armaan:Maa bolo na...

Sudha:Kiss??Hhmm..not bad..I mean in all these mess, you both kissed??

Armaan:Kya fayda Maa..Usse kuch yaad tak nahin hai aur issi liye mujhe gussa aa gaya tha..She was very much drunk that night...

Suda:So it's still back to square one,hug??

Armaan:Actually i don't know...She seems quite different..Even today she acted so differently..as in..

Sudha:As in kya??

Armaan:As in...ever since she's forgiven me and became as close as we sused to be..sometimes she just..Maa I don't know how to explain..She's quite crazy, that's all I've got to say..Actually now she doesn't mind if I do try to flirt with her and the strange thing is that she flirts back as well..I'm actually eeing that she bugs me much more than she usually does..Sometimes she blushes..and seriously I'm not exactly sure of what's happening with her..

Sudha:Yuo know what??I have a gut feeling that maybe deep down she's falling for you..or maybe someone else...Girls do blush when they're in love, you know...They do things which they themselves can't imagine of doing..After which they feel awkward or embarassed...

Armaan:OMG...That must be it then...The suddne changes in Bharti..Could she be in love??

Sudha:Why don't you ask her instead??Anyways it's pretty late..Don't you want to go and change and have some rest??

Armaan:Yeah I better get some rest...Tomorrow I've gotta go to MU early as well..

Sudha:Ok Armu I'll see ya in the morning..Lurve ya..

Armaan:Love you too Maa..(winked at her)

Sudha was simply excited to meet Bharti tomorrow and bug her a little and find out about the little changes Armaan had jsut described. Sudha felt that she can't be wrong and just hoped that the guy whom she's falling for is Armaan.

Meanwhile Bharti just got of the bathroom and was wiping her hair dry. She was thinknig of how much freely she was talking to Armaan at the jungle. She just loved irritating Armaan so much.As she thought about it, she couldn't help but smile widely. She thought of how she had stumbled upon the rock and fell in the waters with Armaan on top of her. She ahd suppressed her laughter then for she had focussed on gazing into Armaan's eyes, something which she felt was inevitable for her. Armaan had helped her stand up promptly but she didn't know what she was thinking then. For a few seconds she wanted Armaan to just be in front of her and she didn't want him to go away form her or leave for home. She couldn't understand what made her think so. In addition to that, before she left from Armaan's place, she had instantly run to him and hugged him intimately in an instant, almost making Armaan fall. She was shocked herself as to why and how it happened but it just occured without a warning signal and when Armaan broke off from the hug and asked if she was ok, Bharti knew that she had lied to him that she was okay. In fact, she was not alright at all. She felt so weird that she's going away from Armaan,something which she felt intially when Armana let go of her hand at the airport as he left for Paris. Bharti knew that things were not going the way she's expecting her life to go. As if her life was about to take a deep deviation from her plans. She looked up at the moon, and as the winds gained more energy, she felt a sudden fear for her future. As if her life's going to be changed forever.

Just then there was a commotion outside Mahi's cabin. It was Preity.

Mahi:Will you please keep your volume down??If you're looking for Aemaan,go and search for him in the studio or his cabin...

Preity:Oh just shut up Mahi..ahh Ms Bharti..oops sorry Mrs Bharti..where is Armaan??

Mahi:How is she supposed to know??

Preity:I didn't ask you Mahi..

Bharti:How am I supposed to know??I just arrived at MU..

Preity:OH yeah??Because of you, he left Paris for Mumbai for a personal work of your's and you've got the cheeks to tell me that you have got no clue of where he is??

Bharti:Ok firstly I didn't even ask him to leave his work to attend to me..And i seriously don't know where he is right now..

Preity:Bharti just get lost!!Because of you, our relationship is getting strained!!

Bharti:what the hell did I do Preity??

Preity:You've come in between me and Armaan, don't you get it??It's really annoying that he spends so much of time with you and rarely with me..

Bharti:What?Look..do you even realize what you're saying???

Preity:All I'm asking of you to do right now is that it'll be really really helpful if you just stay away from Armaan...I just can't stand it anymore!!(leaves from there, leaving everyone else staring at Bharti)

Mahi:Now what??The show's over..Get back to work!!!(Bharti walks inside her cabin) Hey Bharti you ok??

Bharti:How dare she talks to me like that..By right I should be the one lashing at her for accusing me for no reason..Asking me tos tay away from Armaan..Ek baat batao Mahi..Am I really a hindrance to their relationship??

Mahi:No way Bharti...Friends are never hindrances to any relationship..In fact you're Armaan's friend and being Armaan's girlfriend, she ought to understand the fact clearly that you're important to him and if she can't fathom that, then it's too bad..(looks at her watch) Oops, dear i've got a meeting to attend with Sonali..I'll catch ya later,k??Don't worry about Preity!!

Bharti:Yeah ok..all the best for the meeting!!

Bharti pondered about what Preity had said,wondering if there was a bit of truth in it. Preity was right for the fact that Armaan had left Paris to help Bharti out and she felt really guilty about it, being a hindrance to their relationship.

Just then Armaan knocked on her cabin door.

Armaan:Hey..

Bharti:Oh hi Armaan..

Armaan:You look quite upset..Is there any problem??

Bharti:Nothing really...I just want an assurance form you..

Armaan:What kind of assurance??

Bharti:That even when you have tonnes of work left to do, you wouldn't come running to me to help me in my problems..Look I'm not offending or being rude to you whatsoever but I don't want to feel guilty for causing strain to your relationship with Preity, yeah??

Armaan:Bharti what are you saying??

Raj:Knock knock..sorry for interrupting..Bharti, our presentation is right now..Come quick!!

Bharti:(took some CDs and files) Armaan I'll talk to you later, yeah..Gotta go..bye!!

Armaan:bye..

Armaan was quite confused at which Bharti had jsut said. He assumed that Preity must have done something but he wasn't really sure. MEanwhile, Armaan went to seeBharti's and Raj's presentation. Both of them were quite clumpsy, especially Raj for he didn't know which CD had their presentation contents. Raj was trying out the different Cds while Bharti was starting off with the presentation. Bharti noticed the tension on Amarjeet's face and went to Raj and took the right CD out and placed it while Raj took over the presentation. Bharti was trying to suppress her laughter, seeing the tension and nervousness escalalting in Raj's voice. Thankfully, the presentation went well and after everyone left, Bharti was in splits.

Bharti:Raj..you really cracked me up today..Didn't you see the presentation title on the CD cover?

Raj:Arre how am I supposed to know??

Bharti:Lollz thank God everything went well...

Raj:Amarjeet ka chehra dekhne ki layak tha..

Bharti:All thanks to you and me..Where are you off to??

Raj:Well i'm going to have dinner with Malaika..

Bharti:Ooo..enjoy yourself!!!OH yeah I've got a date as well...Better hurry!!!

Raj:Who's the lucky person??

Bharti:Mom..Can you drop me off if you aren't running late??

Raj:I don't mind..Come!!

Bharti and raj left while Mahi just returned from her meeitng and went to meet Bharti but her cabin was locked and Mahi reutrned to her own cabin. After some time, Armaan dropped by to talk to Mahi.

Mahi:Hey Armaan tum??

Armaan:Heyy..I wanted to ask you something..

Mahi:Yeah go ahead..

Armaan:Did anything happen to Bharti today at MU??With the involvement of Preity??

Mahi:Why do you ask?

Armaan:Bharti sounded quite upset when I talked to her just now...

Mahi:Nothing in particular Armaan..

Armaan:Mahi...please!!

Mahi:Fine...yeah Bharti felt bad that Preity had shouted at her...Preity accused her of being a hindrance to your's and Preity's relationship...Preity felt that you were spending far much more time with Bharti than her and hence the accusation..Well I told Bharti that she can never be a hindrance for your love and that Preity has got to understand it...

Armaan:Preity shouldn't have talked to Bharti like that..

Mahi:Don't mind me but can I ask you something??

Armaan:Yeah..

Mahi:Do you really love Preity??

Armaan:Why??

Mahi:I'm quite doubtful of it, that's why I'm asking...don't mind if I tell you something..

Armaan:I won't minf...What is it??

Mahi:I don't know if I should say this..But you and bharti look awesome together...The way you two care for each other..I mean..(pauses for a while)..Oops..I'm sorry...It's just my thoughts...Just forget what I've said,ok??

Armaan:It's ok Mahi...There's notihng wrong in what you've said..

Mahi:There isn't??But..

Armaan:Bharti's my first love..But she doesn't see me that way,,And in an attempt to forget my first love, I said Yes to PReity's love..Anyways I'll head off first...

Meanwhile at Armaan's place, Bharti and Sudha were chit-chatting over coffee and some pakoras.

Sudha:By the way Armaan told me everything...

Bharti:everything??

Sudha:Yeah...about the contract marriage as wella s whatever that took place in my absence...

Bharti:Sorry Mm..I wished I could have told you everything earlier..

Sudha:It's ok hunni...

Bharti:you're not angry at me or Armaan,are you??

Sudha:Even if I want to, I can't get angry at both of you...Mere dil ke tukde ho tum dono..

Bharti:Aww Mom you're so nice...

Sudha:Par ek baat hai..Even after this contract marriage, I'm still your Mom..

Sudha:When you had come I got a small hint that you were upset at something...

Bharti:Actually haan...My friend's girlfriend told me that I'm becoming a hindrance in their relationship since he spends more time with me than her..At that moment I really wanted to tell her off for it was her who's coming in between our friendship but I kept mum for his sake...I've been practically tolerating her airs for my firend's sake...

Sudha:You mean you don't like her??

Bharti:Nope, not a single bit but if my friend's happy with her, then I shouldn't interfere,na??But now she's asking me to stay away from him...What should I do??

Sudha:Well this is indeed a problem...Imagine from her viewpoint, she must be feeling bad for she might want all of his special attention which is being showered on you..Every girl would have a desire of being the most special girl in her guy's life...

Bharti:Exactly Mom..this is what I've been trying to explain to Arm...(pauses for a while)..my friend..Sorry for interrupting..You were saying...

Sudha:I believe there should be a delicate balance in friendship and love..Why don't you talk to your friend and be open with him about it??Both of you can then decide what can be done..

Bharti:Neend kam hona, kisi ki bohat miss karna, uska yaad aati rehti hain, ek ajeeb ehsaas jab woh meri compliment karti hain and all...It just seems so weird...

Sudha:Acha?(couldn't hide her smile)

Bharti:Aap muskura kyun rahe ho?

Sudha:Nahin...bas aise hi...Waise agar yeh kuch zyaada ho jaati hain toh mujhe khabar de dena..

Bharti:Kyun?Koi problem hai??

Sudha:I'll tell you later...Hi Armu...

Bharti:(stood up) Oh hi Armaan...I'll take your leave now..Mom, i'll see you soon...

Armaan.Bharti ek minute...I want to talk to you...

Bharti:I'm running late Armaan..can't we talk tomorrow??
