Payal drove back as quickly as possible to her home. Payal unzipped her bag and wondered where she had kept her house keys. She murmured to herself,rgghh this is the problem with the bags nowadays..So many compartments and you don't know where to find the things at the most urgent times". Just then bhaskar opened the door and Payal grinned sheepishly. Bhaskar went inside and Payal too went inside and locked the door.

Payal:Sorry...sorry...sorry Bhaskar..I'm..erm..10 to 20 minutes late..

Bhaskar:Where were you??I've been trying your number..

Payal:Sorry dear, I had switched it off..Actually I was at Bharti's uni..She had the Valentine's party...

Bhaskar:Oh yeah I forgot about it;besides I had an important meeting also...So how was it??

Payal:It went great..She and Armaan got crowned Homecoming Queen and King respectively..

Bhaskar:(got amused) What??Armaan aur woh bhi Homecoming King??That's interesting..

Payal:Yeah...he was just amazing...I practically couldn't take my eyes off him..He was just so impressive...Oh I totally forgot..have you eaten anything??

Payal:Sorry Bhaskar actually I planned to make it but then only after I turned on the gas stove then I realized that there were not much ingredients and I totally forgot about them too..I'll whip up something right away..

Bhaskar:Don't worry..(embraced Payal from behind) I've made us some salad and your favourite mushroom soup

Payal:Awwww...how sweet Bhasku!!!Why can't you be this sweet always??Ok, I'll go and get changed..Give me 5 minutes,k??

Payal and Bhaskar sat down for dinner.

Payal:After the party, I went to drop Bharti and Armaan home..Bharti insisted on me dropping there for a while..so yeah that's why I got a lil late..

Meanwhile Bharti told Sudha that she's going to sleep early since she's quite exhausted, and wished Good night to Sudha, Jiya and Armaan. Jiya and Armaan were talking from the balcony.

Jiya:Arre haan..I totally forgot..Raj called me to convey the nessge to you that Amarjeet wants you to edit your photos as he wasn't fully satisfied..and he wants it by 10 am tomorrow...That idiot got that message a day before but he just remembered and called..

Armaan:Raj aur uske bhoolne ki bimaari...

Jiya:Bhoolne ki hi nahin par dher se utna aur kaam pe dher se aane ki bimaari bhi hain...Lekin ek baat hai..Sahi waqt par models ke saath date par zaroor jaata hai....

Jiya:Ok Armu I better get going...Had great fun tonight..Homecoming King,congratzz once again...

Sudha too went to her room to sleep and Armaan switched off the lights in the hall and went to his room. Bharti was sleeping soundly and Armaan just gazed at her. He wondered,"Bharti sirf mera dost hai....Sirf dost??Aur kuch nahin??(paused for a while)". He thought of how he had so much fun dancing with Bharti tongiht with so much ease and the kiss on his cheek which Jiya had described earlier as "the icing on the cake". He smiled and told himself that Bharti is his good friend and will always be, and went to sleep.
