Hmm...so tonight brings with it an unexpected treat before I call it a day...and I cannot resist devouring it...it did set alot of things ticking in my head, and I shall proceed to spill them out honestly, before I lose track...here goes... ah.. my fav reply n m relishing every word of it... :D

First, I like the fact that the narrative alternates between Armaan and Riddhima...gives it a halting yet continuous pace...just right for something like this, because it covers what circles both their minds in a very individualised sense...love that...👍🏼 mwwaahhz.. gave the narrator in me a well boost... P:S: glad to have got the hauting pace... desired reaction... 😃

The first two paras are very crisp, and conclude at haunting, effective notes...another thing I really like, because it contributes majorly to the overall effect of the piece...the third para...hmm...I have to admit, that realisation of her beauty and urge to injure those who brought her to a state like this was something I expected would arrive a little later...and it is something of a romanticised sort of perspective as well, at this stage...but nevertheless, you've carried it off reasonably well...you've got secrets buried in the layering too, I see...waiting to find out who the One other is, who differed, and why...😊 the romantasiced perspective... i'll admit was a little hazy from my POV as well... but then i left it in as a foreshadow... plus... the secret in the 'layering' will hopefully work to justify it... point taken for future reference... 😳

Riddhima...I agree with Armaan here, she is intriguing...whether it be her attitude towards fear as an inevitable yet unnecessary emotion, her own desire for Armaan, bitter pleasure...but what is most intriguing, even more than the apparent lack of fear and the sudden desire for her captor, is her response to her own rape...I found that very, very different from what I expected...and I'm not sure whether to term it a bit unreal, or just very interesting, because she's your character, and you've built her in a particular way for a particular purpose...will wait for her to unfold some more before I get down to commenting on her at a deeper level...for now, she's conducting herself almost as though abductions aren't new to her either...a very calm, collected, non-shrieky response...niiice... wooahhh... i dun think i did that much analysis on riddhima's character.. but hey who minds it... and yep her responses are there for a particular reason...😊

Okay, I know I might've sounded a little mean so far, but here's an out and out non-ambiguous very, very good thing...your descriptive for Armaan's eyes : Iron Shields...Ravs, this is why I love you...lol...but seriously, those two epithets carry with them the weight of his entire interiority...his eyes are "cold" and yet they rage with fire...burning or dying down? Remains an unanswered question, perhaps even for him, as he gets these bursts of rage and lust, which tone down within seconds...they're "Iron"...metallic, hard, impenetrable, made strong by constant, lifelong forging in the furnace that is his soul...they're not windows...they're "Shields"...a defense mechanism in their own right, because they give away nothing of what lies behind them, VOILA!!! this just made my whole part reasonable.. lol... and finally i got across exactly what i was hoping for... 😃 n who better to spot it? within them, except to people like Riddhima, who connect with them at a whole other level, in one go...that's another thing I liked...the unspoken connection that seems to exist already, and needs no establishment over time...it's just there, and they both know it...😳 exactly..

Love the ending...the bit with the old man with snowy hair...haunting, thrilling sort of note, that strikes...and that last line is, of course, the highlight of the Amour in your fic...

Okay, I've rattled on and on like there's no tomorrow...sorry about that...am still very interested in seeing where you take this, and how...please do update in good time... hmm about 2 weeks in my book's a good time...😆 got some more to writen it'll be up 4 you to post-mortem..😆
