I call it a short stroll into the memory lane of the non-existence. There are some things which are visible to the human eyes simply by holding it against the light... but we never look into the light?

Leaving in pain is loaded with so much signification that you can barely face it, let alone achieve it. As long as the separation is just physical and not emotional, any thing is possible: to me they will always be together (mirror image of each other)! As you stated .. AR freak.:)

I like to end on: I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other that we still are and will remain for eternity!

Well, as for the two paragraphs up there, brilliantly written. I could really imagine that thing taking place and I dunno why, I imagine R in a long red gown! Du'h and white nail-paint that clutches that red scarf that she let fall in the water body, she was on who's/which's edge! :S *Ignore, please!*

I liked the underlying depth and the storyline! PS: Isn't he suffering from some memory loss of smg? 😳 Other than that, I adored the witty-writing style; did i say that before for smg else?? *geek*

Reading this on my phone - stuck in a place I didn't expect, but one that i don't have reason to complain about ... a place and situaton that's made me think in no order or chronology all night long - this piece in strange ways is like a reflection!

Special pointing of the way the scene is suspended, and yet traveling in time. Or maybe the characters are suspended, even as time moves. =)

I have to echo NJ's comment here - characters seem to be suspended in time, Armaan more than Riddhima.

There is something with the style of writing which I cannot put a finger on but I guess I will figure it out when we talk about this more..

Like the way it goes with the thread, everything will make more sense with the last syllable of the last part of the series itself :-)

It certainly was a short stroll in the memory of the non-existent, I'll reveal what prompted me to write this piece, after the completion of this series, whenever that will be.

To the bolded text above - Do you think thats a given? or is applicable in some cases only, assuming as in this one, the characters or at least one of them - is stuck in eternity - and is able to relive those moments but don't they cease to be once the end has been reached?

I was planning to update this thread but your deal kind of sped things along.

So my 'relatively soon' turned into a week, but I'm here now. 😊

Same with me too, wanted to post the next update for PM before anything.

This is only the first part, and I'm already at a loss for words. The imagery is beautiful, and your style of writing here is rather like a word painting ...the ideas just flow into one another flawlessly, just like the water of the canal. And your writing is so engaging that I could feel Armaan and Riddhima's pain/void, despite the fact that we don't yet know what happened between them.

Please do continue with this soon. Not only am I eager to know what's happened between them (as well as what is yet to happen), but I also want to know what was going through Riddhima's mind at this moment.

I'm not too sure you will get to to hear Riddhima's PoV in this series because its being told by Armaan. It will kind of make sense when you read the second part - at least I hope so anyway. Let's just say that his suffering is greater in a way - if thats possible...

Thank you Nikhi. Just glad you enjoyed this piece as odd as it may be - and like other series in this thread - I try to leave a lot to the reader's discretion...
