~~ Introduction ~~
Divorce granted. MR. Armaan Mallik and Ms.Riddhima Gupta are no longer husband and wife" declared the judge signing on the papers infront of him. the judge Mr.Singhal has been working for abt tweleve years. In these twelve years he has seen many people with different cases. They have been cases of murder , attempt to murder , dowry deaths and many more. He has also witnessed the separation of many couples. But the pair he has just granted divorce was the most complicated one. The pair doesnot have any misunderstanding. There was no issue of dowry. There has been no violence between they, nor they have ever argued. There was no problem of physical dissatisfaction either, nor there was any illegitimate relationship of partner with any other person. Still the lady wanted a divorce.
The lady needed the divorce from her husband. She was adamant on getting it and the husband was in no way interested to save the marriage either. She never accused him for failure of relationship and neither did he. They silently signed all the papers not even glancing at each other.
How many pairs he might have granted divorce to but this was the first time he felt sorry. These two people were pure, not like other people who cheated their partners that lead to divorce or any physical abuses. He couldn't do anything to save them. The wife blatantly refused the idea of counseling. She wanted a divorce. What could he do but to grant a divorce.
He looked at the pair walking away. The husband silently walking away to his car twirling his keys and the wife thanking her lawyer moving her hand gently over her tummy caressing it with love. His eyes stuck there. He surely felt something was bothering the girl which she never shared.
