Part 18

Gunjan was lying in bed opposite to Samrat thinking about his changed behavior

"Koi baat toh hai. Samrat aise kyun behave kr raha hai jaise usse mera bohat khayal hai... kahin usse mujh se .... nahi yeh kaise ho sakta hai ... Samrat aur Pyar kabhi nahi" She get confused

"Per agar such mein Samrat ko mujh se ...." she turned to look at him. He was sleeping peacefully. She smiled to see him sleeping andremembered what Arohi told her

"Samrat jab so raha hota hai na toh uss ke paas chahe dhol baja do usse koi faraq nahi parhe ga .. pata nahi iss mein neend ka itna nasha kyun hai"

"Yeh sote mein cute bhi toh kitna lagta hai" She admitted to herself but then realizing what she was thinking she get worried, "Yeh main kya soche ja rahi hoon Oh God" She got out of the bed and came to terrace

"Yeh mujhe kya ho raha hai main kyun Samrat ke barre mein aise soch rahi hoon" She asked herself looking at the sky full of stars

"Gunjan" She turned at his voice and surprised to see him awaken

"Tum ... tum to so rahe the" she asked him

"Haan bus aankh khul gayee tum yahan kya ker rahi ho?" he asked

"Neend nahi aa rahi thi" She again turned her face from him

"Tumhain araam kerna chahiye tha, sone ki koshish kero neend aa jaaye gi" As he said Gunjan again felt the difference of his behavior

"Aik baat poochoon Samrat" she asked

"Haan poocho"

"Tum ne kabhi kisi se pyar kia hai?" He became silent at her question

"Gunjan iss waqt inn sub baton ka kya kaam ... tumhain sona chahiye" He tried to flip the question

"Kya tumhain kabhi yeh laga ke joh tum ne mere saath kia woh ghalat tha" She again questioned him

"Main manta hoon ke main ne ghalat kia per woh bus uss thappar ka reacion tha aur ...."

"Thappar ka reaction?" she stopped him, "Tum jaante bhi ho ke tumhare uss aik reaction ne mujhe kya bana dia!" Tears came in her eyes, "Samrat woh larki jis ne kabhi kisi ka bura nahi socha ... kabhi kisi ka dil nahi dukhaya ... woh aaj sub ko ghalat nazar se daikhti hai sirf tumhari wajah se" she pointed her finger to him and he put his head down with the feeling of guilt

"Main ne ghalti ki hai ... aur isse main hi sudharoon ga" Samrat said reaching at some decision
"Kya karo ge tum" Gunjan asked sensing something strange in his voice

"Tumhain kal pata chal jaaye ga ... abhi bohat raat ho gayee hai humain sona chahiye" Saying this he turned to go leaving Gunjan alone at terrace
