Part-12

Days went by. The day came. Nupur was in the hospital. Mayank, standing outside was walking here and there, waiting for the doctor to come out of the operation theatre. He came out. Nupur had given birth to a girl child.

They named her arti.

She grew up. Now she was 9 years. She was a cute and bubbly child. She was as talkative and a bolly-fan as nupur and as intelligent and short-tempered as Mayank.

Every morning, nupur used to get up early in the morning, wake up arti, prepare everything for her and send her to school. Then she would wake up Mayank, prepare for him and he would go to his office.

One day, it was a fine morning. Arti had to go to school. Mayank had to go to office. Today Mayank had waked up while she was waking arti.

N- arti chalo utho, Subah ho gayi hai aur school jaana hai.

A- mumma sone do na pls. mein 15 min baad uth jaongi. Pakka promise.

N- nahi, 15 min baad uthogi to tayiyaar kab hogi? Bus nahi chootni chahiye.

M- nupur sone do na usse.

N2A- dekha, tumhare papa bhi uth gaye! Par tum abhi tak so rahi ho.

Mayank couldn't sleep between all this. He sat up at once.

M2A- achchha arti, tum uth jao aur mein tumhe ek chocolate doonga, mein kal laya tha tumhare liye.

Arti sat up at once.

M2N- dekha, aise uthate hain bachchhon ko.

N- arti bachchhi todi na hai, haina?

Children like to be said that they are not children, they have grown up.

A- aur nahi to kya. Mein bachchhi nahi hu.

But till that time Mayank was out of bed brushing his teeth.

N- Mayank, arti ko bhi brush karna hai, jaldi se aa jao.

And she went out in the kitchen.

Mayank came out and sent arti in for brushing her teeth.

Nupur was preparing breakfast for arti. Then she yelled to arti,

N- arti, breakfast tayiyaar hai. Yaha aa jao, dining table par hai.

A- aa rahi hu 5 min mein.

N- thik hai

N- *Thinking* arre, kal to sham ko hum park mein ghoomne chale gaye the, pata nahi arti ne apna bag pack kiya hoga ya nahi. Mein jaa kar check kar leti hu aur saath mein uske kapde bhi to almirah me se nikalne hain.

She went in their room. There was no one. Arti was in the washroom that wasn't attached to their room. Mayank was also not in sight. She went to take out her clothes when Mayank came there and grabbed her from behind from her waist.

M- nupur, aajkal to tum mujhe time hi nahi de rahi ho.

N- (Shocked) Mayank, chodo, arti aa jayegi.

M- wo nahi aayegi, wo brush kar rahi hai.

So nupur also turned and kept both her hands, stretched, on mayank's shoulder. His hands were still on his waist.

N- par abhi mujhe kaam karna hai Mayank, hato.

Mayank didn't reply. He went closer to her. When he was quite close, arti came there running.

A- papa, papa, mamma ko chodo!

They both broke apart and were embarrassed.

N- ka...kya hua arti?

A- mamma mujhe abhi-abhi yaad aaya ki mein kal bag pack karna bhool gayi thi, aap kardo, pls, time nahi hai.

N- arre, mujhe abhi tumhara tiffin bhi pack karna hai aur tumhare school ke kapde bhi nikaalne hain. Ek kaam karo, Mayank, tum arti ka bag pack do.

A- haan papa, aap kar do na, pls.

M- ok-ok.

They all go for their respective works. Nupur first takes out arti's clothes. Arti finishes her breakfast and goes for bathing. Mayank had also finished packing arti's bag. Nupur was also free now.

Nupur was in a hurry and was rushing towards their room when she suddenly bumped into someone and it was none other than Mayank.

M- aaram se nupur, kya hua hai?

N- kuch nahi, wo sirf 20min bache hain bus ke aane mein aur abhi tak arti bahar nahi aayi.

Arti yelled from the room,

A- mamma, mein naha kar chuki, mere kapde kaha hai?

N- mein aa rahi hu arti.

Nupur was about to go but Mayank held her from her wrist to stop her.

N- Mayank, chodo mera haath, mujhe jaana hai.

M- peeche aao.

Nupur went infront of Mayank.

M- hamari zindagi aisi bikul nahi thi pehle, haina?

He was not joking, he was serious, may be just a bit! But still, he was.

N- (she forgot that arti was calling her) by god Mayank, sach kaha tumne, hum...

M- (Interrupting) ek baar, pls.

Nupur understood what he wanted- a kiss on his cheek. Nupur also knew that this was one of his ways or plans to get a kiss- look as if so serious! But she had no choice. She kissed his cheeks. He smiled.

Arti was standing there, behind them.

A- mamma aapne to papa ko waise hi kiss kiya na jaise app mujhe karti ho jab mujhe koi prize milta hai. Papa ko bhi koi prize mila hai kya?

M- aa...arti tumhe nahana nahi hai kya?

A- mein to naha chuki hu. maine mamma ko bhi bulaya par wo aayi hi nahi.

N- to chalo. Tum tayiyaar to ho hi chuki ho bas baal kaadhne bache hain. Mein tumhare baal kadh deti hu. Aur tum apna bag yaha le aao. Tumhara lunch box aur water bottle yahi par rakhi hain, bag mein rakh lena. Chalo

A- hm. Chalo.

This was the end of my FF. I am really very sorry for this, but I can't help it. I also didn't had a proper ending for this…As this was the last part, it was a bit long. I hope you liked my FF😊😊
