Part Four:
She stood there....in front of hall of fame....staring at it.
Shedding silent tears ......when suddenly......
"FRESHER?????"
Naina stood dead in her tracks.
She knew this voice.Yes,she knew it.
How she longed to hear it.Is it a dream or reality?
No,its real! She knew it....
"I knew it.You can never leave me alone sir!"
Naina was smiling through tears as she was reminded of similar incident on her first day of academy.
"FRESHER???"
"Yes sir.."
"Name?"
"Cadet Naina Ah..m.. Singh"
"Toh cadet Naina Ah' Singh !......."
Her smile broadened at the memory of "Cadet Naina Ah' Singh".
She slowly turned.
There he was....
With his cutest smile ever....glint in his eyes....
Tears started flowing through Naina's eyes.....
"Tum aaye toh hawaaon mein ek nasha hai...
Tum aaye toh fizaoon mein rang sa hai...
Yeh rang saaare hai bas tumhare...
aur kya?"
She felt someone's hand at her shoulder.She turned to find Aalekh.
"Kya dekh reli hai?"
"Alekh....Sssir..."
She turned to show him......
But....there was no one.....There was NO ONE.....
"Sambhal apne aap ko Naina...",Alekh said with a heavy voice.
"Hmmm..."
Days passed by.She pretended to adjust to the routine.Pretended to be happy.
She was acknowledged by cadets.She was Cadet's favourite...they all were....Yet she was unhappy....everyone knew that;her pretence not that strong ,yet very few knew the reason.
All three of them were adored by cadets.
Cadets called them most wonderful and friendly teachers ever......at which they used to laugh sadly....cause only they knew,most wonderful and friendly teacher was lost.
On the other hand they were progressing in their mission.Life seemed to be back on track for Naina when a boulder hit her again!
She was called by her parents and was asked to reach Nainitaal as soon as possible.
All throughout journey She dreaded the situation there. She dint know why,but she was restless today.She dreaded something worst to happen.....
And when she reached there....what her parents asked her to do was indeed worst nightmare of her life....
They asked her to marry!! She denied outright. They forced her, pleaded, coaxed, threatened her....but she won't budge.
They asked her to atleast meet Captain Rahul Kapoor,whom they chose for her.
She reasoned,there is no point of meeting him when she was not going to marry anyone else....the last word she thought in mind.
"Naina.... tu kabtak aisi hi rahegi? Hamari umar ho chali hai.....Hamara kya bharosa ? Hamare baad tumhara dhyan kaun rakhega ?", Her father raised voice.
"Baba main khud apna dhyan rakh sakhti hoon...."
"Naina...." , Baba shouted.
" Main yeh shaadi nahi karungi. hargiz nahi !" , she also raised her voice.
"NAINA !!!", her baba shouted while he placed his one hand on his chest above heart.....
Her father suffered from Heart attack.Life left her no choice.
Again she was a pawn of FATE'S CRUEL GAME!
Her father threatened her to not to tell Rahul anything about Capt.Rajveer or else he won't take medicines....
She met him in a cafetaria.

After inital hellos, She asked Rahul ,
"Why you want to marry me? You don't know anything about my past..."
He simply smiled.
"I'm more interested to be your present and future."
He had liked her the moment he saw her.
In the eveninig Rahul came to meet her father. After checking on his health, when he was leaving, Naina's mom asked her to see him off.
She went.
While leaving he said,
"Naina jee..."
"Please...you can call me Naina."
He smiled.
"Naina, this is for you."
He took out a neatly wrapped gift box.
"Iski kya jaroorat..."
"Aap khol ke nahi dekhegi?"
She opened it to find an exquisite watch. She looked up in surprise.
"Aap ki watch kaafi purani lagi..",he said pointing to Rajveer's watch which adorned her hand, " toh mujhe laga aapko yeh pasand aajaye."
She didn't reply. She was not in a state to.
She just wave him goodbye and ran to her room.
She didn't even stop when her parents called her.
She shut the door behind her and slowly slid down with her back at the door.
She cried bitterly..... She looked at the gift beside her.Rahul's words echoed...
"Aapki watch kaafi puraani lagi..."
Her fingers crushed the wrapper.
"Aapki watch kaafi puraani lagi..."
She glanced again at the watch gifted by Rahul. A storm forming in her mind. Anger taking it's toll. How dare he call Raj's watch like that? Does he think i will ever replace Raj's watch with his? She was about to break the watch gifted by Rahul into several pieces when her eye fell on photo of her parents photograph. She was in turmoil.
"Aapki watch kaafi puraani lagi..."
She got up suddenly.Went to one of her drawers and put that gift deep down inside where she will never catch glimpse of it.
Then her eye fell on her hand that was adorned with Raj's watch.She instantly calmed down.She slowly moved her fingers over it and kissed it, as if she is kissing his hand.
The ticking of the watch reminded her of his heart beats....
She slowly got up and went near window. She stood there gazing at the moon.
