It was decided that Abhimanyu's parents would come to his place for dinner before the big conference. Nikita had brought a bunch of cooking books and arrived at his place by 1pm that Saturday.

He heard the door bell ring and went to open it and was surprised to see a stack of books ending with a pair of skinny legs in orange leggings. She tried to say his name but she ended up nearly falling over with the books.

" Nikki what are you doing with all these books?," he inquired as they bent down to pick up the books.

" Some are for the New Sanjeevani project and some are cookbooks. I wasn't sure what your parents would want to eat, so I just brought a few cookbooks," she muttered.

He shook his head.

" Nikki just concentrate on being yourself. My parents like all different kind of cuisines. I bet since they are traveling far they would like simple desi khana."

She nodded.

" Fine we'll look at the Indian recipe books," she replied.

They decided to go return the extra ones to the bookstore. The other interns were hanging out in the area unknown to them. Armaan, Riddhima, Atul, Anjali, Muskaan and Rahul were passing by a cafeteria when they saw Abhimanyu and Nikita sitting there.

" Looks like they patched up!," Anjali declared.

" Kissne patch up karliya Anjali?," Atul inquired.

Muskaan and Rahul stopped and looked where Anjali was pointing.

" Duh! Atul that's Nikki and Modi. It looks like they are on a date. They actually look cute," she said softly.

" Wow Muskaan! When did you start being nice to Dr, Modi?," Rahul asked.

Armaan and Riddhima doubled back when they realized their friends had stopped.

" Kya hua guys? What are you looking at?"

Riddhima smiled seeing Nikki happy with Abhimanyu.

Armaan stiffened a bit.

" What does he think? He helps with her treatment, he's collecting his fees like this?"

" Armaan please don't do anything! She is finally happy!," Riddhima exclaimed.

He marched into the cafeteria followed by his friends. He stopped at the table.

" Nikki tum yahan iske saath?," he inquired.

Abhimanyu and Nikita both turned to face Armaan. They exchanged glances. Nikita didn't know if Armaan was going to start another fight or be civil with Abhimanyu this time.

Nikita got up first and said," Armaan don't start ..," she trailed off.

Armaan offered Abhimanyu his hand.

" Congrats Modi. You got yourself a really nice girl. I am not saying this just because she is my best friend but also because you are right for her. You have proven me wrong after all," he stated.

Abhimanyu shook his hand. He was stunned himself but he was glad things were going to be ok between all of them.
