Anjali, Riddhima and Muskaan stepped out of the limousine to see a big mansion in front of them it wasn't anything new to Anjali and Riddhima due to the fact that they themselves lived in quite a big place but seeing the place made Muskaan gasp. She had been to very few such mansions. Riddhima patted Muskaan's shoulder and held her hand as they walked into it.

The place looked much more elegant from the inside. It had a very homely feeling and all three of them felt very secure as soon as they stepped in. There was grace in each and every structure. Anjali, being an interior designer herself instantly loved the house. She felt the urge to want to touch each and every part of the house and study it.

"Wow! It is so beautiful!" Muskaan exclaimed. "Beautiful is not enough to describe this place." Anjali said with excitement in her eyes. Riddhima just smiled at the exchange but did not comment. The reason was that her emotions were playing some game with her. For some unknown reason to her, her heart was pounding fast in her chest. Her heart was anticipating something. 'What the hell is wrong with me? Why is my heart beating so fast as if something is going to happen that is going to change everything?' Riddhima thought.

"Riddhima! Anjali!" exclaimed a voice they both knew too well. They turned around to see their dad standing a few feet away from them with a huge smile on his face. All three of them walked towards Shashank. "Hello Muskaan. I hope you are enjoying this party." Shashank asked politely as he smiled. "Yes sir. Very much if I may say." She replied as she shook his hand. "No sir business Muskaan. I have told you so before also. You are also my daughter Muskaan. You know Riddhima and Anjali since you all were kids. I have always told you that you can consider me and Padma as your parents. Just because you lost them doesn't mean that you don't have us. You know you can call me dad if you want to." Shashank said his gone from playful to emotional.

Muskaan had tears in her eyes and was very touched by it. Anjali and Riddhima were smiling while their eyes were also filled with unshed tears. "Thank you for everything you have done for me dad." She said as tears finally spilled out of her eyes and she hugged Shashank. Shashank hugged her back and said, "A daughter never thanks her father for what he does. I can finally say that I don't have two but three daughters." Riddhima and Anjali also joined the hug. After a minute they broke the hug and beamed at each other with pleasure.

"Oh I forgot today you got to meet so many people Riddhima and you too Anjali. And my newest daughter Muskaan." Muskaan smiled happily. Shashank led the way as the others followed. "Mr. Mehta, I want you too meet my daughters. This is Riddhima, Anjali and Muskaan." "It's a pleasure to meet you girls. All the three of you look very beautiful." Mr. Mehta said as he shook hands with them.

For the next hour and half all the three of them were introduced to so many people that they forgot the count. Muskaan was very happy today. Riddhima's heart had calmed a bit but she still had the feeling that something was going to change in her life. But she put that feeling aside and concentrated on the introductions being made.

'I really wonder how many more people I have to meet. I have been meeting all of them since the past hour and a half.' Armaan thought as he finished drinking the wine. He lost count of how many glasses he had after the fifth. "Armaan is everything okay? You zoned off completely for sometime." Atul asked. "I was just wondering how many more people we have to meet." Atul chuckled. "Don't worry. I don't think that there are many more." Rahul just grinned at the conversation.

Just then the DJ's voice drifted over the speakers. "I guess all of you must be tired with the introductions and everything. So let us lighten things a little bit. I request all couples to hit the dance floor." Riddhima pulled her mother from the people she was chatting with while Anjali did the same with Shashank. As soon as they both stood in front of each other they understood what their children wanted them to do. Shashank extended his hand forward and asked, "May I have the pleasure of dancing with my beautiful wife?" Padma blushed as she placed her palm in Shashank's and they walked towards the dance floor.

"Mom dad saath mein kitne acche lagte hain hai na." Riddhima said as she looked at her parents lost in each other. "I know. They look so sweet." Anjali said smiling. Soon the dance floor was filled with many couples of all ages. Anjali, Muskaan and Riddhima were standing near the bar counter and looking at all the people who were dancing.

Just then Riddhima heard a voice which felt all too familiar to her. "One tequila please." She turned her head to the source of the voice in an instant and found herself looking into deep pools of greyish blue eyes. A slow smile spread across his face. "Well, well, I told you that we would meet again didn't I Riddhima." Riddhima could not help but smile back. "Yes you most rightly did Armaan. So what are you doing here?" "Well I could ask you the same." Armaan replied. "Then I would say that I had come so that I could get introduced to the business clients before I actually start dealing with big projects." Riddhima said. "What a coincidence! I am here to do the same." Armaan said as he caught a strand of Riddhima's hair which had come in front of her face and slowly tucked it behind her ear. Such a simple gesture had Riddhima's heart doing double takes. "Can I get the pleasure of a dance with the beautiful lady?" Armaan asked in a very gentle-manly fashion as he extended his hand. Riddhima's cheeks turned into a light shade of pink as she placed her palm in his and they made their way towards the dance floor.

As Armaan wrapped his arms around her small and slender waist Riddhima felt jolts of electricity pass through her. She felt something which she had never felt before. Ignoring the feeling she wrapped her arms around Armaan's neck. A slight shudder rippled through him. To any other person both of them would seem as a couple much in love. As Riddhima lifted her gaze to meet Armaan's she was transfixed by the emotions in his eyes. There was something in those greyish blue eyes that rooted her eyes in place. Her fingers unconsciously brushed through his soft hair. This action made the emotion in his eyes deeper.

Just then the song changed and whole of the dance floor was filled with couples only, especially younger ones. But both, Armaan and Riddhima, were oblivious to anything around them for they both were so lost in their own world.

By the time the song was over Armaan and Riddhima were pressed against each other. The song had made their hearts flutter. As the song ended Armaan had swirled them into the corner of the room. He pressed her against the wall and Riddhima's grip on his hair tightened. He brought his face close to her.

Closer.

Even closer.

Riddhima's could feel his hot breathe. She could almost taste him. Her eyes fluttered close in anticipation.

Haha. so who all are cursing me now *grins*. i now that its been a long long time since i updated but i do not have time at all. and many of you may be knowing that i'm leaving IF. so i just wanted to update this ff coz many of you have asked me to update it. but after this i cant promise you as when will the next update be. i'll write and post it as and when time permits.oh and btw sorry for the short part as i wanted to update it before i left IF. a few special thank you's to some of the lovely friends i have made here.

Saz- though you have also left IF i just wanna say you rock gal! i just loved it when we chatted with each other and the way you used to make deals with me into updating my ff

Sanju - you are one of the wonderful friends that i have got through this place. thanx for supporting me through my ffs

Anku - you will always remain my sweet little sister no matter what! i'm glad that we can still stay in contact

Swan - You were my first friend on IF. i'm so happy that we could get to know each other. Love ya gal!

Hima di - you rock! you always used to be the first one to reserve! i just love your comments.

Misha di(who is on a vacation now) - you were one of the sweetest people i knew.

a big big thanks to all my readers who have supported me and have bore me even thru my late updates. Thankx for being there with me and i hope that you will always be there.

i'm ending my farewell speech in the hope that it will get you all to comment so that you wont get irritated with me further!

okay..so the funny thing is i actually start to read this fan fic the day you decide to leave IF. lol..
its an amazing fan fic!! im surprised i didnt find this earlier! it really gooood..and i cant wait to read more.

Soumaya why all members of IF have made their mind to leave ???????????I mean u ppl want to end ur relations with ur friends .I think u can come here when u feel like but what is meaning of leaving IF.donno but i m crying due to this leaving season .i don't like this at all.
