Ok so here goes my story hope you like it-
Part 1-
It was a pleasant summer morning, with a nice breezy wind. The sky was cloudy, blocking the sun from entering and paralyzing the weather. With hardly any of the general suns heat and the beautiful breeze signifying the approaching rainy season, you could feel a new day fast approaching. After all don't they say if winters here, could spring be far behind? Except here the context should have been summer and autumn. The autumn is known for bringing a fresh start and gives us a cheery relief from the harsh and murderous stares of the sun.
Especially in a place like ooty, you just have to like the weather. As soon as you open the window you feel cool air rushing at your face, gushing at your throat bringing in a sense of peace and freshness. A feeling which Is appreciated by almost every one except the students of class 10th of the excel international boarding school.
These poor kids of class 10th were denied the feeling of peace and freshness and may I add, freedom. It had hardly been a week of holidays when the teachers had decided that it wasn't a good idea to leave donkeys free to roam about. It felt like it had been just yesterday when they had given their last paper of class 9th. And now they were being given circulars telling them or rather ordering them to drag their lazy asses down the school building into the class room for the block classes.
Well lifes hard buddy, but you have to go along. So all the students being promoted to class X had to go and get the books from the bookshop, against their own will. Some of them were so lazy that they didn't even want to leave their cozy beds. So they asked their friends and their room mates to go get their books after handing them some money. It was a real heart breaking scene to see the poor kids sitting in their rooms praying to god for some disaster to occur to stop the block classes from taking place with no fruits. It was like seeing angels pleading at satans feet to stop him from destroying mother earth. Yet destiny is destiny. If the destiny of these poor kids was to sit and class and drool over maths sums and napoleanic wars. Then that was their fate.
Yet through all the misery and heart breaking silence, you could see one neatly dressed girl with a huge smile on her face all ready to go and get her books and get started. She looked so excited at the thought of class Xth that you might have thought she was satans own daughter availing there instead of satan to keep an eye on them or maybe satan himself.
She was a girl with beautiful brown eyes, with perfect height and weight for class tenth. She had an innocent face and a vulnerable nature. She was a soft spoken goody two shoes teachers pet. Yet almost everyone in the school liked her for her helpful and caring nature.
She strode along happily marching towards the school with her wallet in he pocket and a huge content smile on her face. She was none other then our own gunjan jain. Our sweet teachers pet, gunjan jain.
As she walked along the path to the school, she carefully avoided the puddles on the ground. Yet she did not mind them much. She was too eager to reach the book shop to mind anything else.
As soon as she sees the school building, she pants with a sigh of relief. She had always thought about class tenth. How amazing it would be, how amazing it would feel to be a grown up. And how amazing it would feel to give the boards for the 1st time in your life. Wow.
She quickly went inside the school and started walking very fast, she was almost jogging. Giving her book list a glance every 3 seconds, she strodded off hoping to have a clear counter. But before she could even get the first sight of the bookshop, she crashed into someone. And as she crashed into him his books fell out of his hand on the ground.
'sorry samrat. My mistake. I was in such a hurry.', she said quickly helping him to get a hold on his books again.
'no problem gunjan.', said samrat smiling at her sweetly.
She couldn't help but smile back. He was one of her very good friends. And also a great guy to talk to.
He was a tall slender guy, with dark greyish brown eyes and a nice sweet nature. And what she loved about him was he was just like her, studious. Although he was not very open with people yet when he became friends with someone he was always there for them.
He was also known as the all rounder. He was not only good at studies, but he also was very cool and fun loving. He bunked classes and played pranks on all his friends. Not serious pranks just fun pranks. And in this prank business his partner in crime was her best friend nupur bhardwaj.
And if that was not all samrat was also a very good tennis player. And so was nupur. They both played state level tennis. And were known to be the trifling two. They were never seen sperate from each other. And sometimes people even thought there was something going on between them but to no avail. They were the best of buddies ever seen.
Samrat and gunjan stood talking to each other for nearly 10 mins-
(s- samrat and g- gunjan)
s- soo gunjan.. kaisi hai yeh yaar tu?
g- main thik hoon yaar. Tu bata?
s- main toh full on jakass yaar. Itni jaldi jaldi main tu books lene ja rahi thi?
g- haan. Tu to mujhe jaanta hai na. main toh kitabi kheedi hoon toh main kal ke liye books lene ja rahi hoon. But lagta hai koi mujhse zyada eager tha books lene ke liye. Tab hi books mujhse pehle lene aa gaya. Aur mera record thod diya sab se pehle books kareedne waali insaan ka! Very badd sam.
s- oho aisi baat nahi hai yaar. Wo actually mere room waale log ek party plan kar rahe hai! Toh uske liye mujhe permission lene jaana hai jaldi se. isliye pehle hi aa gaya lene ke liye!
g- party kis baad ki? Holidays khatam ho gaye iski?
s- nahi yaar paagal hai kya. It's a last day of freedom party. You know like lets make the best of the last time sort of a thing.
g- oh nice. So its like your room party or what?
s- no yaar. Its for everyone. Isliye to warden se permission leni hai.
g- that's nice
s- so jaise hi mujhe permission milti hai. Ill send someone to give everyone the message.
g- to ye party tera plan tha?
s- nahi yaar. Yeh to rannvijay ka plan tha.
g- my god. Char din pehle join kiya hai na usne. Aur abhi se sab pe chaane ki koshish. Hmmmm. I hope hes successful. But bdw if its his plan why are you going to ask the warden permission?
s- who kya hai na. warden ka mujh pea cha impression hai. So they al asked me to go.
g- to matlab plan unka aur phasa tu?
s- sort of.
And they both started giggling.
g- chal anyways ab main jaati hoon books lene. Aur tu ja phaasi pe chadne. Okay?
s- alright gunjan. Take care. Bye
he said ruffling her straight sleek hair.
To which she sweetly smiled and ruffled his hair too.
They smiled and gave each other one last look then they went their own ways.
Gunjan went to the bookshop where the book shop guy quickly picked up the books and piled them up and handed them to her. she took it and she handed him the money and took a bill in return. Then she took the books and started marching back to the hostel. She hummed a sweet slow as she walked along the puddles with a sweet smile on her face.
As soon as she reached the hostel and went inside, samrat came from behind her and started pulling her cheeks. After he was done she touched her cheeks which had turned pink. Seeing that samrat grinned at her.
s- sorry gunjan.
She smiled and she shook her head.
g- no problem. But agle baar thoda kam zor se pull karma. Haan.
s- chal ok. But guess what hume permission mil gayee.
g- that's awesome. So when is this grand party of yours?
s- its from 5 to 9. that's what the warden allowed for.
g- that's great. So everyones coming??
s- from the guys. Yes. And ive just sent bhenji upto the girls to tell them. Then we'll see.
g- great. Chal phir main upar jaake dhekti hoon if nupur n all are coming.
Okay. Bye. Take care. See you sam.
s- cya.
She quickly ran upstairs to her dorm room where they were going through their clothes choosing what to wear and what not to wear.
Nupur comes in from behind and hugs gunjan. And then she shows gunjan what she had chosen to wear for the party. It was rilly pretty. It was a white shirt and a denim knee lenth skirt. Over the white shirt she planned to wear a cute netted covring. Which would make it look really cute.
Then she quickly took the skirt and she ran and stood in front of the mirror.
Seeing how it looked. Gunjan smiled to herself. And went to find some clothes for her to wear.
This party was going to be more fun then what gunjan thought.
