Part 4:
Recap: Uday and Gunjan find support in each other as they deal with their problems. Mayank and Nupur continue to pretend to be a happy couple in front of the villagers and secretly have a contest on who can embarrass the other more. Nupur convinces Mayank as well as a disabled kid to engage in a game she thought of.
Gunjan is frantically walking in the hallway trying to find Samrat when suddenly she bumps into someone. As soon as she bumps into this person she slips and is about to fall when the person holds her by the waist, and thus saves her from the fall. Gunjan feeling scared from the fall and shy from this person's touch shuts her eyes tightly. When realizing that this person would not let go of her, she finally lifts her lashes and sees Samrat smiling down at her. Seeing Samrat smile makes Gunjan smile a little and they both share a moment of intense gaze and understanding. Gunjan's smile slowly grows and seeing Gunjan smile and reading her eyes, Samrat realizes that she has forgiven him. However he decides to use this situation to his advantage and doesn't miss this golden opportunity to tease Gunjan:
Samrat: Kya chashmish, meri baahon mein aane ka bahaana dhoond rahi ho kya?
Gunjan: (lowers her eyes and comes to her senses) Samrat…tum…chodo mujhe…
Samrat: (smiles as he let's go of her) Lagta hai tumne ab bhi mujhe maaf nahi kiya chashmish (makes a serious and sad face). Ab to mujhe tumhe girne se bachane ka haq bhi nahi hai…(Saying this Samrat starts to walk away)
Gunjan: Nahi nahi Samrat…mera wo matlab nahi tha…
Samrat: (smiles and turns around) Toh…toh kya matlab tha chashmish? (as he says this he comes closer and closer to Gunjan)
Gunjan: (feels shy and backs off as Samrat gets closer to her) Who…Samrat…tum…
Samrat: (enjoying this moment immensely, and he keeps coming closer) Who..tum (imitates Gunjan)…batayo na chashmish
Gunjan: (eventually reaches a wall behind her and can't go any further) Samrat tum…(realizing that she can't go back any further, and feeling Samrat's closeness and his intense gaze towards her, Gunjan shuts her eyes tight)
Samrat: (stares at Gunjan and can't help admiring her innocence and how adorable she looks. Then realizing Gunjan's reaction he starts laughing and backs off)
Gunjan: (opens her eyes and is shocked to see Samrat laughing) Samrat!! Tum kabhi nahi sudhar sakte…main tumse kuch kehne ayee thi aur tumhe abbhi mazaak sujh raha hai. Chodo mujhe tumse koi baat nahin karni…(feels upset and starts to walk away..)
Samrat: (holds Gunjan's hand to stop her) I'm sorry Chashmish…main to aise hi mazaak kar raha tha…tum to mujhe jaanti ho na. Chalo ab jaldi batao tum kya kehna chahti thin. Aur agar tum meri taarif karna chahti ho to please usse bhi jaldi bol do.
Gunjan: (turns back and can't help but smile at Samrat) Theekhai…is bar maaf kardeti hoon…lekin agar phirse mujhe aise sataya to…(Gunjan realizes that she is saying too much and stops)
Samrat: (smiles at Gunjan) Toh kya chashmish?
Gunjan: (feels shy and looks down and doesn't reply to Samrat)
Samrat: (laughs) Koi baat nahi chashmish main samajh gaya tum kya kehna chahti thin…yehi naa ki agar maine tumhe phir se sataya to tum mere daant tod dogi? Lekin aisa mat karna chashmish…bahaut ladkiyan marti hain Samrat ki is smile par (winks)
Gunjan: (is now relaxed and again can't help but smile) Samratt…tum bhi na…kabhi nahi sudhar sakte. (shakes her head)
Samrat: (gets serious) You're right chashmish…maine bahuat galtiyan ki hain…par pata nahi kyun chashmish tumhare saat rehke mujhe un galtiyon ka ehsaas hota hai aur tum mujhe ek better insaan banne pe majboor karti ho…Tum khud itni achi ho chashmish ki auron ko bhi apni iss achayi se jeet leti ho. Tumhare pass chashmish…(smiles) kuch x-ray ya special aankhen hain jisse tum sabki burayiyan nahin sirf achaaian dekhti ho.
Gunjan: (is shocked to hear all these nice things about her and looks up at Samrat) Aisi koi baat nahi hai Samrat…tum bhi ek ache insaan ho. Bas tum har kaam sochke nahin karte. Par tum dil ke bure nahin ho.
Samrat: (smiles) Achaa? Toh phir kaisa hun? (stares intensly at Gunjan)
Gunjan: (this time does not get intimidated by his gaze) Bahaut ache ho. Aur mere ache dost bhi…haina?
Samrat: (surprised to not find Gunjan get intimidated this time, and smiles) Toh iska matlab tumne mujhe maaf kardiya chashmish?
Gunjan: (returns the smile) Haan Samrat…maine tumhe pehchanne mein galti ki…mujhe bhi tumse maafi mangni chahiye.
Samrat: Chashmish ab yeh maafi waafi ka silsila yahin khatam karte hain. Woh kya haina….ki dosti ka ek usul hai: no sorry and no thank you. (winks)
Gunjan: (laughs) Yeh to kissi film ka dialogue haina?
Samrat: Haan, tha ek film ka dialogue….lekin film banane walon ne bhi yeh idea Guru Samrat se hi liya tha
Gunjan and Samrat: (both start laughing together and Samrat feels happy to see Gunjan laughing after a long time)
Samrat: Tumhe kush dekh kar acha lag raha hai chashmish
Gunjan: (smiles) Tumhare saat to main humesha kush hi hoti hoon Samrat.
Samrat: I know chashmish aur thanks. Woh Samrat ke jaadu ka success rate 100% hai. Kabhi fail nahi hota.
Gunjan: (laughs again) Toh…friends? (extends her hand out)
Samrat: (feels genuinely happy at this gesture, smiles and accepts Gunjan's hand for a handshake.) Friends.
They shake hands and smile at each other and after some time they both realize they are still holding each other's hands and then let go.
Gunjan: Woh…ab main chalti hun Samrat. Mujhe library jaana hai.
Samrat: Yeh kya chashmish abhi abhi toh humari friendship hui hai aur tum apne friend ko chod ke jaa rahi ho. Humari is friendship phir se banne ki kushi mein ek treat to honi hi chahiye?
Gunjan: Treat?
Samrat: Haan…chalo canteen chalte hain aur aaj main humari iss naye dosti ke liye tumhe treat deta hoon.
Gunjan: Samrat lekin…mujhe to…
Samrat: Library jaana hai haina? Library kahin bhaghi to nahi jaa rahi hai na chashmish. Baad mein chali jaana. Aur sochlo Samrat ki treat jaisa mauka baar baar nahin aata.
Gunjan: Acha…toh phir theekhai main bhi dekhon tumhari yeh treat kaise hai.
Samrat: Great…yeh hui na baat. Toh phir chalo...after you.
Gunjan and Samrat both go to the canteen and sit down at a table. As soon as they sit down, Chinu comes to take their order. Samrat orders:
Samrat: Chinnu do coffee aur pastries le aa. Aur haan yeh sab mere bill pe daalna kyunki yeh treat meri taraf se hai (winks at Gunjan)
Chinnu agrees and smiles and goes off.
Gunjan: Samrat lekin…tum..
Samrat: Relax chashmish...apni sab se achi dost ke liye main itna to kar hi sakta hoon na? (winks again)
Gunjan: Samratt...tum na...
Samrat: Jaanta hoon...kabhi nahi sudhroon ga right?
Gunjan and Samrat both start laughing which soon turns into a smile. While they wait for their order they both can't help but smile and look into each other's eyes.

Back to the village scene with Mayank and Nupur. Mayank, Nupur and all the kids are playing a game to which only Nupur has the instructions:
Nupur: To theekhai bachon…(then looking at Mayank) aur budha Mayank. (To which Mayank gives her a look back) yeh game bahaut hi simple hai…
Mayank: Ab tumne banayi hai to simple hi hogi na…
Nupur: Mr. Mayankji iss umar mein aapko jyaada baat nahi karni chahiye, aap thodi der chup rehenge to main apni game samjhaon?
Mayank: Haan haan kyun nahi Nupurji…waise bhi jab aap bol rahin hain to aur kissi ko bolne ka mauka hi kahan milega.
Nupur: (getting angry) Dekho Mayank tum to chup hi raho…tumhari hi sehat ke liye acha hoga samjhe!! (points finger)
Mayank: (pushes down her pointed finger) Dekhiye Nupurji aap kripiya apni yeh game samjhane ka kasht karengi? (and then in a loud voice) Humain tumhari iss stupid game ke alawa aur bhi bahaut kaam hain!!
Nupur: Batati hoon na…chilla kyun rahe ho. Dekho Mayank tumhare liye ek suchna: Agar yehi dimaag game khelne mein lagao ge na to ho sakta hai ki tum jeet jao.
Mayank: (is loosing his patience) Aur agar tum apna dimaag game samjhane mein lagaogi na to ho sakta hai ki hum finally yeh game khel payen!!
Nupur: Itne utaawle kyun ho rahe ho Mayank…thoda sabar karo…
Mayank: Nupurr…
Nupur: …To game yeh hai doston…ki hum sab iss ped ki daali ko ek dusre ko paas karenge. Aur jab yeh bhains jo yahan maze se kha rahi hai…by god yeh bhainsen bhi kya cheez haina? Pata hai maine to socha tha ki main kabhi ab kissi bhains ko dekh hi nahi paaung! Ek baar pata hai kya hua? Morena mein na ek bhains…
Mayank: …Nupur
Nupur: Kya hai? Haan to main kya keh rahi thi…Ek baar Morena mein na…
Mayank: Pata hai…ek bhains aa gayi ho gi yehi na? Waah Waah bahaut achi story thi…ab bakwas chodo aur batao ki bhains ka iss game se kya taaluk hai?
Nupur: (makes a fist at Mayank) To haan…kahan thi main? Haan jab yeh bhains koi bhi awaaz nikale gi to jiske haath mein yeh daali hogi usse kissi film ki acting karni hogi aur hum sabko batana hoga ki uss film ka naam kya hai! Bas itni simple hai. (excitedly) Haina mazedar? Chalo to phir…
Mayank: Unbelievable. Yeh hai tumhari "mazedar" game? Mujhe nahi khelni…(gets up to leave)
Nupur: Bachon…lagta hai bichare budhe Mayankji bahaut dar gaye hain. Tum bachon se harne mein inhe bahaut sharam aaygi na.
Mayank: Kya? Main darta hoon? Aur woh bhi tumhari iss stupid game se?
Nupur: Nahin. Iss game mein harne se. Mayank tumhe itna akdoo banne ki zarorat kya hai. Thodi der khel nahi sakte humare saat.
Mayank: (looks at Nupur's innocent face and gives in) Theekhai abhi humari bas ke liye time hai to waqt bhi kat jayga. Aur waise bhi tumhari bakwas sunne se to game khelna hi better hai.
Nupur: Yeh hui na baat. Lagta hai Mayank ab tum budhape se phir se jawani mein aa gaye ho.
Mayank: (gives her a sarcastic smile)
Nupur: Aur mera wishwaas karo Mayank tumhe iss game mein bahaut maza ayega. Chalo shuru karte hain.
Mayank: (can't help but smile and sits down to play)
So everyone starts to play their game and each time the bhains makes a noise someone starts acting a scene from a movie and others guess the movie. This continues till the 'ped ki daali' lands on the disabled kid whose name is Mohan.
Another random kid: Yeh to langda hai! Yeh kya acting karega!! (he and all the other kids start laughing)
Mayank and Nupur look at each other worriedly. They both feel the tensed atmosphere and think of a way to ease it. Nupur gives Mayank a reassuring nod and says:
Nupur: Bachoon iss game ka idea kiska tha?
All the kids: Aapka didi
Nupur: Toh iss game ke rules kisne banaye hain?
All the kids: Apne didi
Nupur: Haan to iss game ka sabse important rule yeh hai ki yeh game koi bhi khel sakta hai aur jo iss game mein ghus gaya aur jiske haath mein daali ek baar aagayi, woh to phir phas hi jaata hai. To usse to acting karni hi padti hai. To phir tum log isse (looking at Mohan) kyun manna kar rahe ho? Yeh bhi iss game ka hissa hai to isse bhi acting karni padegi ab. Chalo Mohan ab shuru ho jayo
Mohan: (smiles at Nupur thankfully) Haan didi.
Mayank: (looks at Nupur affectionately and is amazed at how she handles the situation without scolding or lecturing the kids) Maybe there was more to Nupur than her 'chattar pattar', he thought. And then smiled at the thought of her 'chattar pattar'. Maybe he had once again made a mistake in judging her. Sure she had lied to him about the project but after seeing this side of Nupur, he was sure that this girl could not hurt someone intentionally. As he watched her getting excited about the game, he smiled and thought: Jo bhi ho…I have to admit ki iss game mein mujhe bhi maza aa raha hai…(and then he looks at Nupur as if he's afraid that she might've heard his thoughts and is relieved to find that she is still lost in the game, he smiles again looking at her and thinks) Yeh Nupur itni buri bhi nahin hai…
Nupur: Mayank!!! Tum kaunse khayalon mein khoye ho tabse? Mujhe pata hai…kissi book ya koi purana lecture yaad kar rahe hoge haina? Game pe dhyaan do na.
Mayank: (comes back to his sense) De hi to rahan hoon.
Nupur: Haan Haan kya kaakh dyaan de rahe ho. Acha yeh batao ki Mohan kiss film ki acting ker raha hai?
Mohan is doing the sharaabi scene from Sholay.
Nupur: Agar tumhe nahin pata na Mayank to main tumse kabhi baat nahin kar paaongi. Kyunki yeh to bacha bacha jaanta hai by god... (looks at Mayank thinking) Mujhe pata tha ki tumhe nahin pata hoga!! Mayank tumhe apney hi bhudhape ki time ki picture yaad nahin hai? Chodo main batati hoon, iss film ka naam hai….
Both Mayank and Nupur together: SHOLAY!!
At this they both burst out laughing. Nupur is surprised to see Mayank laughing and he in turn is surprised to find himself laughing. They both eventually stop laughing and look at each other. This time the look is not of hatred but of mutual understanding, attraction and perhaps friendship.
Mohan: Bilkul sahi bhayiya aur didi!!
This breaks Mayank and Nupur's eyelock moment and they come back to their senses.
Nupur: (nervously) Haan…woh to hai..
Mayank: (also nervously) Haan…woh…Nupur ab humein chalna chahiye. Bus ka time hone wala hai.
Nupur: Arrey haan!! Chalo jaldi.
They both get up to leave. They thank the villagers for their hospitality and say bye to everyone including the kids. Just when they are about to leave, Mohan says:
Mohan: Didi…bhayiya…ab aap waapis kab aaoge?
Mayank and Nupur look at each other and say:
Mayank and Nupur (together):Bahaut jaldi!!
Mayank and Nupur again look at each other and smile.
Village Lady (who gave them food): Kitni khoobsurat jodi hai. Bhagwan tumhe hamesha ek saat aur kush rakhe. (to Nupur) Apna aur apne chunnu ka khayal rakhna beti.
At this Mayank and Nupur look at each other and both try to keep a sober face in front of the villagers.
Nupur: Jee zaroor.
Nupur and Mayank bid their final goodbyes to everyone and finally catch their bus!
In the bus Mayank steps aside and let's Nupur have the window seat:
Mayank: Chaliye aap yeh seat le lijiye warna pure raste mujhe patanahi kya kya sunna padega.
Nupur: By god Mayank agar tum pichli baar hi mujhe window seat itni aasani se de dete to kabhi panga hi nahi hota (she sits down on the seat and Mayank sits down beside her)
Mayank: Agar mujhe pata hota ki ek window seat ke liye tum kitna hungama karogi to main zaroor de deta.
Nupur: Mayank tumse to baat karna hi bekar hai…ab mujhe apni window waali view enjoy karne do. Main to iss seat ka pura maza lene wali hoon by god!
Mayank: (looks at her as if he's just heard the most absurd thing on the planet and thinks) Seat ka mazza? (and then shakes his head thinking this girl is impossible)
Soon things quiet down as Mayank starts reading and Nupur is looking outside. After some time, Nupur starts feeling drowy and can't keep her eyes open. She soon falls asleep. Mayank looking at Nupur also starts to feel drowsy and soon he too closes his eyes and falls asleep. Nupur starts nodding her head in deep sleep and the added bouncing effect of the bus causes her head to land on Mayank's shoulder. She finds this position comfortable in her sleep as a faint smile appears on her face. Mayank as a reflex also puts his head back on Nupur's and a faint smile also appears on his face. Here the two of them rest peacefully after a long and tiring journey. They both sleep calmly with the thoughts of the past moments they shared together as well as dreams of the future…

Precap: Mayank and Nupur continue their on the bus nok-jhok and finally reach Ahmadabad for the competition. Gunjan and Samrat spend time in the cafeteria after which Samrat teaches Gunjan to dance where Dia catches them and is shocked. Uday makes plans for his Valentine's Day Ball date with CJ.

Thoda zyada lamba part to nahi ho gaya? 😆 I got carried away! 😆 So I'll try to update again this weekend but can't promise anything as I have to volunteer and I have 2 dance performances aur phir assignments bhi khatam karne hain 😕.But I'll try my best!
