PROLOGUE

The gates of heaven

Rajveer and Naina held each other's hands and had reached the gates of heaven successfully after so much hardship. They kept smiling at each other and gazing dreamily that finally their dream became true.

Suddenly there was a loud thunder and it began shaking around them. Rajveer panicked and held onto Naina's hand tight and she also was scared and didn't want to let go but a lightening struck in between causing them to fall apart.

Both of them looked with horror in front of them as a mist formed and weren't able to see each other. Both of them called each other's names but they were not able to reach other. Then they both froze in their position as they were ordered by a voice.

"Stay where you are and don't try to move!" a voice spoke from amidst the clouds.

Rajveer and Naina desperately wanted to find the person who was speaking but couldn't see through the mist. They tried getting up again but the voice told them to stay where they are.

"I said don't move..." then the person became a bit restless and began moving about the mist becoming quite annoyed. "Sarvelas! Yo Sarvelas!"

A tiny person's head appeared from out of the clouds up above startling both Rajveer and Naina. "What is it again?"

"I told you to take care of the smoke machine and still you haven't. It's causing such a chaos amongst the newcomers and I can't reach to them properly."

"Yeh, yeh stop your nagging already. I'll take care of it as soon as our technical faults are resolved." then the head disappeared.

Then the person managed to come out of the clouds and Rajveer and Naina were finally able to see him clearly. It was a man dressed in princely robes with a traditional book in his hands and a feather pen.

"Sorry guys you would have to bear with that. There seems to be some technical fault going on right now with the machines in heaven due to which there are so many special effects." Both Rajveer and Naina just stare at each other in amazement, "now let me have your names."

"I'm Rajveer Singh Shekhawat and this is Naina Singh Shekhawat." he managed to hold Naina's hand again.

The man began searching in the list but he was finding it hard to find the right ones. "Are you sure those are the names, because I can't seem to locate you. There is a Naina Singh in the list but not Shekhawat but Ahluwalia."

"Yes that is me. I mean my name was Naina Singh Ahluwalia before I got married."

"Hmmmm....well you should know that after you die you're known by your maiden name." He raised his eyes above at the clouds, "God why have you given me this job? I've to deal with this ignorance all the time." Then he turned towards Naina again, "Well I guess you'll have to go through security check before stepping in."

"Security check?" she asked in confusion as to what was this. "Is this heaven or a check in at an airport?"

The man just sighed, "I get this all the time. Now come on quickly." He guided Naina to go forward and place her hands on a computer screen which matched her fingerprints.

"INTRDUER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!"

The loud alarm made Naina jump and she began looking around at what happened and went and held onto Rajveer. Then the man came and began slamming the alarm to shut off but it kept ringing.

"I'm sorry but these machines have just recently been installed due to the 21st century so we're having some technical faults..." then the man looked up at the matching of the fingerprints and saw they matched. "Okays I guess now we just need to make you an Identity card and then you shall enter."

A flash appeared in front of Naina and then the man clicked his fingers and a feather like card appeared and he stuck it on Naina and then moved the clouds away from a side and showed her a pair of golden gates. "There my dear you can enter now."

She smiled and began walking and as she got to the gates she looked back at Rajveer and decided she would wait for him and enter together as they had promised to do so earlier. This was their new journey which they would start together.

"Why did you stop? You must move along as I don't want traffic jam here. Another plane is just about to arrive." The man spoke whilst checking his list of newcomers.

"I'm sorry but I'm just waiting for Raj to come with me."

The man began searching his list, "Hmmmm....well he is not coming with you."

Both Naina and Rajveer stare at each other in horror, "What do you mean I'm not going with her?" he spoke with shock.

"Yes that is correct...You've been listed into Hell's list of newcomers."

Rajveer felt as if he would faint any moment, "I'm sure there's some mistake. I can't go to Hell. No I've been one of the good guys then how can I..."

"I'm sorry but that's not my department. If you have a complaint then you must go to the customer services and solve this. For the time being you're not going inside but going the other way."

"Nahi! Me Raj ke bina jee nahi sakti!" Naina let it out over dramatically putting her hands over her head.

"Offo Naina atleast say the right dialogue." Rajveer slapped his forehead. Hum dono margaye hai to ab jeene ka sawaal kaha peda hota hai?"

She bit her tongue and laughed sheepishly, "I mean, nahi me Raj ke bina mar ke jee nahi paaungi. Please hum dono ko aise alag mat kijye."

"Seriously," the man shook his head, "this generation is definitely going to drive me nuts. Now lady move on. The plane is about to arrive and I've got a whole lot of job to do."

Both Naina and Rajveer looked at each other with the longing look of how they won't be able to survive. Naina put her hand out towards Rajveer and he did too with a sad face. "Naina!"

"Raj!"

"Naina!"

"Raj!"

"God please can I change my job?" The man pleaded looking upwards as this melodrama was getting on the edge of his nerves now. Then Naina disappeared through the clouds and Rajveer stood there staring after her really distraught. The man came to him, "there, there my boy. Don't worry I'm sure you'll have a blast in Hell. Today there is a Diablo disco held especially for newcomers so cheer up." then he guided Rajveer to go the other way and then step into a black hole.

"Don't I go through security check?" Rajveer asked seeing that he was let off so easily.

"No...you see Hell doesn't require any security as it's a free land. Now step inside before..." he was unable to finish as Rajveer had already stepped inside and now was falling down screaming. "....before you miss the first step." the man yelled down at Rajveer. "They all miss it." He sighed and then got ready to welcome the other newcomers.

The dwellings of Hell

Now Rajveer was falling down really fast and he couldn't see much around him until finally he fell down with a big thump. His face was buried in black dust as he raised it and in front of him he saw this black gory place surrounded by lamps lit with flames. There was this awful stench which was making him want to throw up and the place was really hot making him full of sweat from top till bottom already. As he was looking around the place his gaze returned back to the front and he yelped out with fright. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!"

In front of him stood a hideous man with two red horns and a tail. "Hey...chilla ta kyu hai?"

The voice was stuck in Rajveer's throat after seeing the scary man but he managed to stand up anyways, "Uh…wo…you…hmmmm…"

"Just leave it," The horny man raised his hand for Rajveer to stop, "I get this all the time. Now let me have your name."

"Uhhh…Veer…Wat…Raj…Shek…" The horny man stared at him which brought back the voice in him, "I'm Rajveer Singh Shekhawat."

The horny guy checked his list, "aaah you're the trouble maker Rajveer Singh Shekhawat."

"I'm sorry but there is some mistake here. I mean I'm not meant to be here." He pleaded with the desperate need to get out of this place.

"Yes, yes they all say that. But I can clearly see from your profile of what you've been up to your whole life." He just shook his head as if looking down at him. "Now prepare yourself to step inside."

"Wait!" Rajveer seriously wanted to try again. "Please I really don't belong here."

"My boy everybody who comes here thinks they don't belong here but they don't have a choice. Perhaps this would make it better." He clicked his fingers and the whole appearance changed from being gory to a beautiful serene place. There was a flowing peaceful waterfall with the nature's best around it. He changed himself too from being a horny guy to a suave handsome man. "Now that would make you change your mind."

"Wow!" Rajveer was awestruck with the beauty, "is this all for real?"

"Nah!" the horny guy clicked his fingers again changing it back to its old self, "this is just the trailer to attract people. Now make a move on boy before I force you."

Rajveer had no choice but to step up the black steps and hesitantly he opened the rusty iron gate and closed his eyes before taking the next step. Then once he was in he took in a long breath as this was his destiny now. He looked around at the place and it was complete ruin with flames running here and there. He walked through many times saving himself from the blowing out flames.

"Don't let this entire place scare you."

The sudden voice made Rajveer jerk and he was surprised to find a pretty blonde by his side. Her eyes were so mesmerizing that he almost lost himself there.

"Welcome to Hell, I'm Diabalata…per tum mujhe lata bula sakte ho."

"Tum Hindustani ho?" He was alarmed by her diction.

"Ha…we devils here have the ability to talk to people in their own language." She smiled making him relax a bit. She was the only nice thing he had seen here till date.

"You certainly don't look like any devils I've known."

"You humans certainly have prejudiced our image. This is the real us and not the horrible ones you make us. Anyways I've come here to escort you around since it's your first day here." She guided Rajveer through the place and soon they had passed the whole ruins. Now what Rajveer saw was unbelievable.

They stood in this huge palace where all the people were up to different stuff. Many were chained together and were under hard labour, some were having a blast dancing and drinking and some were just sitting around and relaxing. He thought if Hell looked like this then what would Heaven be like. Then everything began becoming blur and was going out of sight.

"Oh for devil's sake they've put up the wrong tape again." Lata slapped her head with frustration. "I'm sorry Raj but this new century has certainly made us all loose our touch here and the new installments are just all over the place. That what you saw is centuries ago. Anyways let's go inside."

All of this was making no sense to Rajveer and he really wanted to leave this place. As what he had just seen was not at all what he was seeing now. The place, was full of chained people, doing hard labour and were being badly beaten up. He couldn't imagine himself going through all that.

"Don't worry this is our lower department for all the hardcore criminals and extremely sinful being."

That relieved Rajveer as he certainly wasn't one of them and gladly passed through them all, still following Lata. Then they came to a place where everyone was doing several duties such as fixing and repairing. This place didn't look that bad and he thought he would be able to survive but then his gaze fell on someone which changed his mind completely. He stood in his tracks and really felt like hiding somewhere as he knew if that person would find him then he would certainly be dead. But then again he already was dead so what harm could he give him now? He was too late as the person had spotted him and was now charging towards him.

"Raj! You Slimeball I was waiting for you as I knew you would be coming here." It was Navin who also had been sentenced to Hell. He also thought he didn't belong here as he wasn't meant to be dead in the first place.

Rajveer quickly hid behind Lata, "How the hell did you know I was going to come here?"

"Oi, no swearing here," Lata warned Rajveer, "You'll be fined."

"Fined?" Both Navin and Rajveer stood there wondering about what currency was used in Hell. "Raj what do you think would it be rupees or dollars?"

"No ways I think it would be something real new like Hellars or Hellees." Rajveer laughed.

Navin gave him a whimsical look, "where did you come up with that?"

"Oh come on Navin I knew you weren't that smart before but at least try and be smarter now. You see dollars and rupees so I just merged that into Hell and then made it Hellars and Hellees…get it?" Both Navin and Rajveer began laughing about it and Lata just shook her head with disbelief. These two were useless.

"I knew men were dumb and now I'm seeing it. When I meant fined then I meant that you would be given extra labour."

"Oh" Both spoke in unison and stood there when Navin remembered again. "Hmmm where was I?"

"You were coming to attack me. Let's go back and replay." Rajveer suggested and Navin agreed and went back and then came charging onto him again.

"I wasn't even meant to be here you deceased scum. You made my sister die and now you…wait a minute where is Naina?" He looked around and noticed she was missing.

"Well do you really think she would be in this rotten place," looks at Lata, "sorry no offence," then turned back to Navin, "she has been sent to Heaven where I should be too but I don't know why I'm here. But you are certainly in the right place."

"Shut up! Tujh jesa insaan ki yehi sahi jaga hai kyu ke tune Naina ke saath saath mujhe bhi dhoka diya hai. Ab me tujhe nahi chorunga or is baar to me tujhe maar hee daalunga."

"Abhe saale," looked at Lata again who warned him about swearing, "come on he is my saala after all," she agreed and then Rajveer continued, "abhe saale me pehlese mara huwa hu, or kitna maarega mujhe." And he accidentally hit Navin on the face.

Navin glared at Rajveer who had a sorry look on his face as he didn't mean to do that. He had just raised his hand to scratch but he didn't know how it whipped across his face. "You did that on purpose." And he slapped Rajveer across the face.

"Aaw that hurt you dimwit." And Rajveer slapped Navin across his face. Then Navin slapped Rajveer again and Rajveer did the same and this continued for the next five minutes. Lata who was standing got bored of the entertainment and decided to separate the two.

In Heaven

Meanwhile Naina had been escorted on a tram inside Heaven and was taken to the main reception. She was checked in and then was taken inside the whole place which looked nothing less than a resort. She jumped with joy seeing the place and forgot everything else.

A couple of male angels came to her and lifted her up to carry her away and she just kept staring at them and was awestruck to find one looked like Hrithik Roshan and the other looked like Shah Rukh Khan. "My God, when did you guys die?"

Both of them stopped at the mention of God, "Sorry we thought you were enjoying this lekin agar bhagwaan ne faisla badal diya hai to…"

"Nahi, nahi wo to me bus aise hee pooch rahee thi. Per aap dono mare kab, abhi abhi to me aap ki picture dekhke aarahee hu." She found this too surprising.

Both Hrithik and Shah Rukh looked at each other and sighed, "Oh we get this all the time. Actually wo kya hai ke bhagwaan ko hai na hindi pictures ka asar hogaya hai so you know onke sab angels ko onhone film stars ke roop me daala hai." Hrithik replied in his usual style and Naina just smiled. She was more than happy to be escorted by these two.

"Okay, then lets go." She put her arms around both the guys and they lifted her up again and they soared through the clouds. She was having the time of her life.

In Hell

After Lata had separated the two she had put both of them into the detention room. They were alarmed that there was a detention room here too just like in their academy days and Lata said that this was part of the new installment. It was necessary as this generation was definitely too unruly. They had to stay there for an hour and that whole hour they spent quarrelling with each other. There was a partition between them so they didn't get a chance to assault each other and Rajveer was glad as he had no intention of being beaten up especially as it would just ruin his handsome face.

In the honour of the newcomers there was a Diablo disco held in which both Rajveer and Navin were invited. Rajveer didn't feel like going at all as he was missing Naina too much. But then he got summoned as it was compulsory for all newcomers to attend so he was forced.

The place had been transformed into a proper discothque with all the neon lights and the whole DJ system. There were so many people that Rajveer had a hard time entering the place and when he did he was stormed by all the females there. He felt as if he was the honey and all the bees were attracted to him. All of them clung onto him and he just wanted to escape. "Girls, girls, please…" But none of them were listening as they just couldn't help but get attracted to him.

Navin saw the whole drama and fretted that how still he had that charm in him. When he was alive he also had all the female cadets drooling over him and now when he was dead he still managed to get all the honeys in his sack. This really angered him and without looking he picked up a glass and drank some fluid. After he finished his whole head spun around several circles and then finally it stopped and he nearly dropped off the seat. Everybody around him looked hideous with horns and tails and they all were jumping around making him feel really light headed. He had no idea what he had just drunk but it certainly made him feel good.

Meanwhile Rajveer was trying to escape from the grip of the girls but all of them held on too tight. He needed a break so he also grabbed a glass of the same fluid Navin drank and once he had gulped it all the same affects took place. Then he began laughing like a clown and actually enjoyed the attention he was receiving.

The music which was playing was a special devil mix made by the red chilly devil who had been appointed the new DJ. Rajveer and Navin both were too high now and found it too foul so both stepped up to the stage where the red chilly devil was and pushed him off. Then both of them looked at each other and messed around with the discs and created their old style, the Indian style and played on some decent music. Once it began both of them stepped out on the stage and began dancing to its tunes making all the girls scream out with joy.

Rajveer danced around with plenty taking them in and throwing them out.

For the first time Navin was too having his part of the fun with all the beauties.

Both went back onto the stage and got really excited and took off their shirts and swirled them around and threw them off to a horde of screaming girls.

All the excitement soon died down when eventually both Navin and Rajveer passed out.

When Rajveer woke up he found everything upside down and he wondered that was he still high. But then he remembered how this was Hell and things were demented here. Then he attempted to move but he was unable to do so. That was highly alarming so he began looking around and then he was horrified to find himself hung upside down and then he looked underneath and got a fright. "Aaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!" he was just a few inches away from hot lava. "Mummy! Bachao!" he squealed like a child.

"Be quiet!" another horny devil came towards him. "Gosh you're worse than a ten year old."

"Why am I hanging like this?" Rajveer asked with the desperate need to escape.

"Well you've been a bad boy and have gone against rule no.10 that's why you got the punishment."

"Rule no 10? Please, please I haven't even been told about them as it was my first day and you're telling me about this…"

"What? Didn't you receive the welcoming pack when you arrived?" When Rajveer nodded in disagreement the horny devil shook his head, "so much for technology. You broke rule 10 which was no intoxicating drinking and no stripping."

"But…Look I was unaware of this. Please this was my first offence. I'm sure there are some leniencies given here." Rajveer pleaded as he tried pushing himself away from the hot burning lava.

The devil scratched his horns and wondered, "I guess it was your first offence so I can let you off. But if I catch you breaking another rule then it would be worse than this boy." Rajveer nodded and just waited to be let off.

Once he was standing on his two feet again he was glad and now he made his way back towards his previous place. He needed to find Lata as soon as possible.

He did after ten minutes and he pleaded to her to help him escape from Hell as it was not where he belonged. She refused as it would jeopardize her job but Rajveer kept begging and in the end she had to give in as who could refuse him. She showed him a secret passage way which lead to Heaven but he had to be careful not to be caught otherwise the consequences would be drastic. He thanked her and then headed in the direction she pointed towards and found the passageway. It looked like a big slide that was usually at a swimming pool. He in took loud amounts of breath and then he sat down in through the tunnel and then he slid through it as if he really was at a swimming pool.

On the way towards Heaven

The non ending tunnel finally came to a halt and Rajveer landed face first into a pool of water. He couldn't believe he really was at a swimming pool but this looked mistier and he could smell lavender and jasmine. He surfaced and looked around and the place was so beautiful that he just couldn't take his eyes off. He knew he was definitely in Heaven now.

Then loud shrills and squeals alerted him and he panicked. He saw all these figures squirming and running out of the water splashing water all over. He tried to control it but it was too dangerous and he was fully blocked by all the water. "Hey, hey I'm sorry I didn't mean to…hey…" he tried swimming away and he managed to get to the edge too and climbed out. Then he lay on the soft cloudy floor to catch onto his breath.

There was this bright light which made him shut his eyes but then he opened them to find himself surrounded by all these pretty faces. He looked with amazement as to what happened to the view but then he found himself being raised up in air and then was being carried. He became tensed and protested as to what was happening but it was as if no one heard him and before he knew it he was on his way to an unknown place.

After ten minutes of traveling he found himself descending to his relief and then was resting soon on this feather like bed. Then he looked up and was startled to find Kareena Kapoor coming and grabbing onto his clothes in order to remove them. He halted her hands and held them tight, "My God what are you doing here?"

"I'm sorry but God did send me." She attempted to remove her hands but he didn't let go.

"But…but how could you die," he became really upset, "I mean you were perfectly alright and all then how…"

She laughed, "really I had complained to God about this but it went in vain. You see bhagwaan ne ham saare angels kee shakal film stars ke jese kardee hai kyu ke onhe hindi filmo se pyaar hogaya hai. Now let me continue," she went to undo the buttons on his shirt but he stopped her too as he was horrified.

"What are you doing?"

"My boy you got wet and if you don't change then you'll come down with fever then all of us would get into trouble." Bipasha Basu came from the other side making him stare with amazement.

He thought this place was definitely worth being at and he didn't protest any further and let the angels do their work. He was too dazzled to think anything else.

Now he sat amongst all of them staring at him with awe as if he was God's masterpiece. He felt awkward sitting like that with all of them towering him and wanted to know the reason. "Why are you all staring at me like that?"

"Sssh…" Kareena snapped at him, "You're spoiling our concentration." And then she with the others looked at him dreamily.

Now this definitely freaked him out and he wished he was back in Hell. "Okay…per please mujhe ab jaana chaheeye. Koi mera intezaar karaha hai."

All the angels groaned as this one was also taken. "Oh why do we always get the taken ones?" Preity Zinta complained as she held onto Rajveer's hand smiling at him with love.

"But what were you doing splashing around in that tunnel?" Kareena became curious, "aaaaaaah don't tell me that you came through the secret passageway" she raised an eyebrow at him and he looked over with a guilt ridden face.

"Yes I did." He saw how all the angels were about to snap at him, "wait! Before you guys say anything please listen to what I've to say." They all back off. "I was not meant to be in Hell but there was a mix up and I ended up there but I missed Naina too much so I had to come here. Believe me I only did this for love and nothing else. I really can't live without her."

"Haaaaaaai, kitna pyaar karta hai yeh," Aiswarya Rai spoke from his left side, "kaash mujhe bhi koi aisa milta." All of them agreed in unison as they continued drooling over him. They certainly were in love with Rajveer and were not going to let him go so easily.

"Wow, we would really like to know your love story." Bipasha was sitting near his feet and was pressing them to make him relax.

"Wait we all have to report to God in ten minutes." Sushmita Sen butt in but all the others shunned her and wanted to listen to this instead. "

"We can always go later as God would be busy watching the latest flick Billu Barbar anyways." Kareena informed everyone and then turned back to Rajveer.

He was enjoying all this attention and then he smiled remembering how it all had begun and decided to rewind the whole tape to go back to the beginning of the film.
